Location is very good, walking distance from Shinjuku Station. The hotel is very nice too, with an artsy vibe that feels very welcoming. I’d really like to thank the staff, who promptly helped me with a problem regarding my luggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

It’s a bit pricey, and the Shinjuku area is quite hectic, not my favorite one to stay in Tokyo. But if you’re planning on staying in Shinjuku, stay here!

Very small rooms

A comfortable stay for a solo traveller! Location was excellent and safe. Staff was very helpful. They provide morning complimentary tea, coffee, juices with a selection of bread. There's also a kitchen the guests can use. Note: Rooms are small (normal in Japan) and quite dark (but not an issue). Would stay here a again - good value for location!

The location was nice, easy to walk to what was needed. The room was good, the heater worked well since im a baby in the cold. The breakfast was simple but a good start to the morning. If you are a coffee snob, you will want to go get other coffee. The TV had youtube and netflix so I didnt have to watch everything in Japanese.

The sugar was never refilled in the room after use. Other than that couldnt complain. They did a good job tidying everything else.

The hotel is in a good location, easy access to the train station. The room has a hot water kettle, a small safe, and a tiny refrigerator. When I was making the reservation, there was no option of selecting breakfast. No, the hotel does not provide proper breakfast. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the bakeries and coffee/tea/juice in the morning, free of charges. If you are not picky, that is all you need for breakfast, at no cost to you.

My single room is very small. The tiny bathroom is on a platform that is about six inches above the floor in the room - one has to be constantly careful when getting into and out of the bathroom. One issue was that the hotel lobby is on the second floor. There is only one narrow escalator from the street level to the lobby. The moving direction of the escalator can be controlled by the hotel people. Of course, most of the time, it was running in the wrong direction that you wanted to go. So, you go in and out of the hotel by climbing the stairs.
