    Pros +

    • They were very helpful and very courteous
    • The hotel's location was perfect for exploring, and we appreciated the easy access to transportation. We loved the ambiance of the hotel and the hospitality and the attention to detail throughout our stay
    • The Sakura bloom in the hotel is outstanding and is hard to find. Absolutely amazing. Closeness to the Shinagawa JR station is a huge bonus.

    Cons -

    • The guest facilities while at the hotel could have been better.
    • I didn’t like the area so much. It feels a bit out of the way, but it’s very easy to get to other areas of Tokyo with the train station being so close. The view from our room was of a building site, which was a bit unpleasant, but the city is constantly changing, and who knows how the view will change once it’s completed. Although the lobby was modern and looked luxurious, the rooms and bathrooms were a bit old, and in need of an update.
    • A couple of miscommunications from the staff gave us issues with room service and check out. But they were sure to be fast in finding solutions to remedy the situation.

I loved the, for Tokyo or anywhere, huge room. I liked the huge and stunning garden with the gorgeous lights etc. Really such a pleasant experience. I also liked that one could just bring the room key to get the prepaid breakfast, rather than having to bring coupons. Staff were also very accommodating and friendly. I liked that it’s so close to a Shinkansen station.

Beautiful garden right outside of the hotel, was great for the kids to explore and run around. The rooms were spacious and clean.

A couple of miscommunications from the staff gave us issues with room service and check out. But they were sure to be fast in finding solutions to remedy the situation.

Exceptional room size for Japan. Large bathroom with spa bath. The gardens connecting the three Prince hotels was gorgeous. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and location was 5 mins walk to the Shinagawa train station which made accessing the rest of Tokyo easy.

We enjoyed the stay with nothing we didn’t like.

It’s not in the usual Ginza or Shibuya but Shinagawa station is very convenient for both metro, airport expresses and Shinkansen trains. Staff are fantastic and so accommodating. Breakfasts are great too. Gardens were an unexpected joy.

    The breakfast was fair

One Indian receptionist was very slow and gave us wrong information which upset us. We spent 20 hrs on the flight and he spent 2 hours checking us in. The Visa card machines don’t work yet else where they were working and on check our one worked. This was frustrating The food wasn’t good

Large, well presented rooms. Beautiful garden, very good bar

Big rooms, cleanliness, friendly staff, easy access to different Tokyo places

    6BrookePosted on: 8-13-2024

Staff were friendly Nice view from room

False advertising with the pool. There was nowhere that mentioned guests would have to pay 9000 yen per person to access the pool per day 5000 yen to then sit at a table in the pool area it was very disappointing and not worth the money we paid as the main reason for booking the hotel was the pool and it was hot

I specifically chose the hotel due to the size of the room and the triple bed. Bathroom was so large in fact that 2 people can easily be in there at the same without getting in each others way. There was a tub with very powerful jets. The room was spacious for 3 people and a rarity to be found in Tokyo. The grounds are beautiful and magical and hotel staff were really helpful and attentive.

I hate to give this hotel any negative criticism because the size of the room, the immaculate gardens and customer service was a 10/10 but the hotel is a bit dated. The rooms are showing its wear and tear and the shower did have some black mold in it. The toilet room, tub, vanity and sink area was exceptionally clean but the shower for some reason wasn’t paid the same attention at all.

    Everything was superb

It was clean, spacious rooms and an incredible view! We also had room service and it was delicious!

    9TorgPosted on: 7-21-2024

Quality of premises and feel of luxury. Spacious room with comfortable bedding. Staff and house keeping were excellent. Beautiful garden and close proximity to other “Prince hotels”. Walking distance to Shinagawa station.

Pool not open prior to July 20. Seems to be common with Tokyo hotels but doesn’t make sense to me with 30’C temp since late June / early July. My son was devastated and it does take away from the perfect “holiday feel”. Noise from next-door construction work.

    5AlexandrePosted on: 7-17-2024

The housekeeping staff was very attentive to the needs of the guests: dressing gowns placed on the bed every day, slippers installed, water and squares of chocolate.

Unfortunately the day after the first night, my daughter was scratching her head a lot. We noticed that several room doors next to ours (4th floor, room 4424) and opposite were closed with tape all around, making them airtight. Thinking of bedbugs, we asked why these next rooms were sealed like that (between room 4418 and 4424); reception said “for maintenance”. We actually got lice.

The surrounding gardens were really lovely despite the close building site. The executive lounge was great and the staff were ever helpful and friendly.

    6KazumiPosted on: 7-7-2024

Location and amenity. Spa and jacuzzi. Specially the garden. The pool was not opened even though Tokyo was already 35 degrees super hot summer.

Old. No indoor pool. A bit pricy compared to the other dusted hotels nearby.

Allowed us to check in early when we switched hotels around 12pm. Greeted by a nonchalant male concierge but this was offset by a helpful female concierge who was new to job who helped us with our luggages and there were quite a few. Italian restaurant served good food.

They placed us in a room at the far end of the corridor facing a hotel room used as a store room. Without fail every morning it was hustle bustle of activities with loud noise accompaniment. Despite staying for 11 nights, we were not offered any upgrades whatsoever. We also were put on a low floor and I expected better.
