Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku

The location is very convenient, with many restaurants nearby and two subway stations close by. It’s a safe neighborhood. The room is clean. The hotel owner is helpful and considerate, even giving us a lovely welcome gift upon our arrival.

The staff was the highlight of the hotel. Very welcoming and helpful even prior to arrival. Amazing communication with any issues/questions we might have had were addressed quickly. The room was very clean with all the amenities we needed. Location was ideal for us, walking distance from Okubo train station.

No notes. Experience with this hotel was great and could not have worked out better for our group.

Beyond expectation! Rosenheim operates with true 5-star service standards.The check-in process was warm, welcoming, and very professional. One of the gentlemen personally guided us through the room amenities, and we were always greeted with a smile.Location was absolutely PERFECT! Just mins away! If you need to buy Halal groceries and supermarket its all waking distance. And there's so many HALAL Spots nearby.The room was cosy, compact, and well-maintained. Don’t expect luxury like a big hotel, but for an inn, they really have everything you need — even a washing machine and a kitchen stove. What truly stood out was the level of customer service. It goes a long way, and we were genuinely glad we chose Rosenheim Hotel. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to stay here again.

This was a 10 minute or less walk from two stations which was really convenient. We had some trouble finding it initially when we got dropped off. The staff were amazing and kept the whole place super clean. I just wish I knew enough Japanese to tell them not to fold all my laundry when they serviced the room. Overall great experience and would stay here again.

Akira was very nice and super helpful! The building was small and charming, and I loved being on a quiet street still close to trains and shops/restaurants.

Spacious (2 bedroom apartment), close to station and restaurants etc (10-15 mins walk), helpful staff (helping move the luggage up and down the stairs).

Place is very basic. Furniture / fittings in the rooms give the vibe of cheapest of the ikea line up. In the middle of the city, so windows look into your neighbors. We were lucky to be on higher floor, so had some natural light in the room. Friends of ours got the ground floor room which was dinghy, eerie, and dull.

They were able to accommodate 4 adults in one room. This was a challenge when we searched for other locations. It is an apartment/condo so no hotel-type amenities but there was an attendant that was available for check in/out and he did allow us to leave our luggage after check-out. The location was a bit out of the way on a residential side street, but walkable from the train station.

The location was very convenient. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was a good size for our family of 4. The communication was excellent. There were shops and the train station nearby. The staff were delightful and very helpful.

For the price paid should be able to get hotels in better location and facilities- this is not a hotel but more like a family run hostel. We stayed in 2nd floor and there is no lift. We (4 pax) stayed in one room, relatively small for 4 pax.

A small mom and pop hotel that is in the quieter neighborhood side of Shinjuku. Everyone was so nice and helpful since we got to the hotel! The place was clean, beds were comfortable and we loved the location.

The location was a little out of the way but that meant it was peaceful.

Everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. All facilities worked great and the location made it easy to travel on foot or by taxi to nearby restaurants and shops.

The staff was very helpful, help with luggages to and from the room ( despite no elevators), very flexible and accommodating about check in/out. The place is well equipped and clean.

It’s rare for an apartment to have a front desk, which means they can handle luggage transports. The room is spacious, clean and well-furnished especially for something so close to Shinjuku Station. The staff will help you bring your luggage as there are no elevator.

As mentioned there is no elevator so if you get the higher floors you need to climb stairs, which could be rough for seniors and handicapped person. Also while the room can accommodate many people, there is only one restroom/bathroom, which could be rough in the morning.
