Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo-Akabane

The hotel is located about one minute from Akabane Station.

To say that this hotel is in Ikebukuro is definitely a misnomer. It's located about 10 minutes away from Ikebukuro, on a train. As a result, it's not nearly as convenient as the write-up for the hotel might indicate.

Location,location,location

I loved the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

Location was close to the station and the room was clean and comfortable.

You need to manually turn on the fridge and AC when you enter the room and it takes a while to cool. The room and bathroom felt cramped but it's to be expected of a business hotel.

2nd time staying here. Great location. Great value for money.

Breakfast is more on Indian clientele. More Japanese options please and for international Travellers. But the staff were courteous and helpful.

Super close to the station. Beds are always great. Breakfast was a delicious mix of Japanese and Indian food.

Bathrooms and showers weren't as large or nice as in some of the other Daiwa Roynet I've stayed at but still great.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staffs are really nice. It's close to a train station.

Rooms were spacious and excellent, the facilities were good and the staff was very helpful. Overall value for money. Great stay Daiwa Roynet.

We love that it is literally just 4mins walk to the Akabane station — which is very convenient. Just few stops and you’re in Ueno or Ikebukuro already. I love love love the staff. Everyone was polite and helpful and friendly. We also love the room and the toiletries they provide!!!

Nothing. All good

The location is close to the train station.the staffs are so kind. a room is very clean.

I like how Akabane is happening enough for our family. The location is so close to the train station. I like the hotel staffs that are friendly. Most amenities are provided.

Unfortunately one of the rooms the toilet has no heating. The cleaning can be better. I do understand maybe there is policies that the staff can’t touch the stuffs we left on the table. But it would be nice if can lift and clean under as we stayed there for two weeks. Winter is dry, and body lotion is not provided as amenity which surprises me for Japan

While farther out in Tokyo, it is so close to the train that it made traveling easy. Super friendly staff. The price was great.

The room was a bit tight for two people but still doable.

Location is great! Bed comfy and the amenities in the lobby are great. Loved the robe they provided as well as the breakfast buffet at a cost was good value.

No real communal space to just mix and mingle. No freezer

Ac was brilliant nice short walk to train station and regular cleaning and easy access

Could of used another chair in room with being a couple

close to the station, helpful staff, clean and comfortable, nice selection of amenities-good coffee!

Convenient , walking distance to train station and restaurant

Broken tv . Small space

Close to station. Good housekeeping.

Area is seedy. Room very small.

Location was great and very close to the station. Staff were extremely helpful and very kind.

I was told it was a non-smoking room, and it wasn't. The air humidifier didn't work because it needed to be emptied.

Good location in mostly residential area so less touristy. Metro is 3 mins walk. All facilities available. Many nearby shops & a large local shopping area. Many restaurants, fast food, convenience stores. Lively area at night without noise.

At night, room is too bright or too dark. No dimmer for main light. The bathroom seems a bit old.

Great location to Akabane station, meant getting on the train was never an issue. Hotel had great toiletries and facilities such as facial cream, toothbrush, hairbrush etc. I felt very catered for.

Excellent location, Breakfast menu needs improvement, also the timing of opening is too late for tourists, of our 7 days stay we could have breakfast only 3 days, it should start by 6:30 am
