Location is great, laundry was useful.

Rooms are very small

Great location if you want to stay in Ueno, minutes away from JR station. Good value for money.

Staff were quite friendly and the location is very close to the park, zoo, museum and train station

There was mold all over the shower walls, the bed kept rolling away from the headboard. Their dryer doesn’t dry your clothes. You have to keep putting in coins for extra time to get your clothes dry. Security is very minimal as anyone can just walk into the building and access any floor

Hotel is well located to ueno station. Room was cozy and plenty of spaces. We booked Jr. Suite which gave us 2 separate rooms. One for Living and the other one for Sleeeping

The Mattress were real hard, we solved this issue by asking additional futon cover.

Great value considering its location being a few minutes walk away from the Ueno Station. Staff is helpful with the check-in process and luggage storage. Free umbrellas were a plus for rainy days.

The bedroom and bathroom are separated. Instead, they are divided by a sliding wooden door. There is only one elevator to go up and down 10+ floors. Bed is noticeably stiff.

Value for the location was excellent and staff were very friendly. Neighborhood was really cool.

Bed was a little stiff although didn't give me any sleeping problems personally and tv was a little small and dated.

The location is closed to Ueno station which is very convenient. The room is spacious for 3 people.

Sometimes we could hear the noise from outside, eg sirens, motorcyles. The building is very old, the reception/lobby area is very small. The only elevator is small as well.

Wood floor and no curfew

The atmosphere is so shady. You get a key to your room. No consecutively cleaning unless you ask 1 day before. Do your own cleaning like replace towels and trash in different floor and get new ones are also in different floor. Room door you could break it easily. No soundproofing room. You could hear next door neighbor in shower and things. anyone can have access to elevators to guests room and lobby. Also, front desk is not available 24/7 check in time 4:30 pm check out 11:00 am and no breakfast.

Excellent location, short walk away from Ueno station. Very basic hotel and includes the basic amenities expected of hotels of this price range. Good value for money. Room is quite spacious for a room in central Tokyo, bathroom is big with a sizable bathtub. It isn't those pre-fabricated bathrooms you commonly see in Japanese hotels. Staff are very polite.

The rooms face a major road in Ueno so some traffic noise is expected. It will be good if the blinds of the windows can be raised or lowered to let in more light. Hotel does seem a bit old and dated, but if you are just looking for a no-frills comfy place for the night in a convenient location, this should do well.

Location. It’s less then a minute walk from ueno station exit Iriya or less then 5 min walk from the stations central exit as well as the large market. This was my second time staying here and I really enjoy the location as it’s a little out of the way of foot traffic but still close to a large station.

The first 2-3 days there the elevator smelled like someone spilled trash in it. The hotel did fix it but it took a bit. The washer/dryer are okay. And also a warning for people booking on bay he bathroom door isn’t really count as a door to me.

Close to Ueno Station.

Room could have been cleaner. It looked like an old suite repurposed as a hotel - light switches were oddly located, bathroom door was open slats so all was audible, beds on rollers. The elevator smells quite funky. Quite overpriced for quality.

Very convenient location. Everything was easy to find and understand.

Just the bed kept moving or sliding very easily on the floor when tossing and turning. Made it hard to sleep.

Great location, friendly staff and good value for money

Vaugh, at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. We were able to check in early which was great.

Electrical outlets need to be in a better location. There is one next to the wash basin that is not safe. Also the outlet by the window is not convenient because the wooden blinds prevents plugging in chargers properly. The last item is grab bars in the shower would be great for safety reasons. The second room reserved for two people was quite small because there were limited space for the luggage.

The location was great, very convenient to Ueno station. The beds were comfortable, however it would have been good if there was perhaps a break on the wheels - one night sat too enthusiastically and the bed nearly rolled away. The bathroom was spacious, which was a nice change.

The key for the room was a physical key, and there was an item on the key that had to be inserted for the power to work in the room - we were a bit confused until we figured this out. The fire escape/stairs were opposite our room, and the door was propped open. Reception said it was closed at night, but this was a bit unusual.

Avoid, has mold in bathroom and public bathrooms are cleaner.

Has mold, dirty bathrooms what looked like dirty floors.

I liked how nice everyone was and even though the room was a little small for 2 people it was still really nice

I didn't like the lack of outlets and only having one key when there was 2 of us which made solo adventures a little difficult for who will have the key
