Super Hotel Ikebukuro-Eki Kitaguchi

The hotel close to the dontoburi! The area around was clean, and close to the namba station:)

Great amenities, friendly staff. Amazing breakfast.

It's Tokyo so it's to be expected, but the rooms are tight. Wish there was a desk to work at or somewhere in the hotel where I could sit with my laptop.

- The employee is extremely knowledgeable about their position.- This is my second stay at the Super Hotel Lohas Ikebukuro; it's affordable and the staff is excellent. - This hotel is constantly on my list whenever I travel to Japan.

The room is clean. We like the idea that there is a space to put the luggage underneath the bed. The staff were very helpful and accomodating too. The buffet was great too.

Onsen was great. I liked the relaxation area by the onsen, too.

The checkout time was 10. Since I'm used to checking out at 11, I had to pay a little extra to stay until 11.

Surprisingly (relatively) quiet for a busy hotel. The bunk bed at the top was very useful as extra storage space, given how small Japanese hotel rooms are. Free alcoholic welcome drinks in the lobby in the evenings! A microwave on every floor, useful for someone who buys food from convenience stores. The onsen was spacious and relaxing.

The washing machines were both out of order (thankfully there's a very cheap laundromat one street away). Need to walk through a slightly seedy area of town to get to the hotel directly from Ikebukuro Station.

The room sizes were a bit too small, specially when you carry big baggages like the ones we were carrying! Apart from that, everything was okay! The staff was kind all the time and helpful, always putting new sets of clean towels outside the rooms and drinking water! Also the room was warm and very quiet! It's a small walk from the hotel to the Ikebukuro Station (10 mins max) which makes it convenient to get anywhere you want!

They had a hot spring and it opened pretty late so you can go pretty much anytime.

It was far from the subway station and have to walk further to find an exit that has an elevator. Beware if you have a lot of luggage. The room was pretty dirty compared to what I am used to. I would probably not go back again.

The location is spot on. The room? Cosy enough to make a sardine jealous, but spotless and stocked with everything one could need. The staff were lovely and spoke such perfect Japanese that I felt inspired to butcher the language in their honour while attempting to learn it.

The hotel is really money for value. Their coin laundry is really good and convenient.Reception is very helpful. They helped us to call the car rental company about our delay to return car. Thanx very much.Room is small but that is expected.

We picked room with 2 single bed and a bunk bed. The air con can not reach the bunk bed and it is hot and stuffy up there. Room and toilet is very small but that is expected.Breakfast is so and so but wasn't pricy.

Nice staffs, great amenities, even though I hadn't try the onsen, I still think the ambience awesome. The location near Ikebukuro station, and one of the reason I choose this hotel is it's near the narita shuttle bus stop so when it's my time to back home via narita airport, I could easily access the bus stop even with my heavy luggage.

I don't have anything dislike within the hotel.

The room is very small.We requested a room for 3 people and it was too small.

I was surprised as the price was cheap compared to other available options at the time I booked, and the pictures were not very nice. The hotel is spotless clean, nice room (small, but as advertised), very quiet, soft and hard drinks for free at the lobby, washing machines and dryer at the lobby, you can get tooth brush, razor, soap and all these at the reception, staff is nice and helpful, speaking English. they have a spa onsite, didn't yet get to check it out. 3 convenient stores next to the hotel. Designated smoking room next to the lobby. You get to choose from a variety of pillows, they give you one with wooden balls or something, I tried it and it was great, I will try to buy one for home. The receptionist lent me a convertor from European to Japanese power outlet. Overall great and great value. Location is not central in Tokoy, but close on the train to major areas. In the area you still have several shops and restaurants, area is clean and quiet, felt safe, not a lot of tourists, mainly locals in the hotel, area is not very slizzy but you have some pick up bars etc, didn't interfere with anything. Good value for money

Everyone on duty at front desk speaks fluent English, very kind and makes us feel like home. Water/ sparkling/ cocktails are provided at the lobby. The hotel is like less than 10 minutes walking from the station and there are 2 family mart and 1 Lawson around, super convenient!

Simple breakfast. Double room was small ( like in other similar hotel) . no space to move once a luggage is opened.Onsen was good. Complimentary drinks is a plus. The laundry machines right next to the counter was great as the staff was able to remove uncollected clothes promptly as soon as its done for other guests to use. Short walk from Ikebukuro station exit west (N). Has Lawson, 7 eleven nearby , even AEON minimart next to hotel. Staff is excellent : very efficient, friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful one and keep up the good work.

1.Room size. 2.Wifi was weak ( maybe our room was at the end of the building) but it was good near the lobby area. Hope the hotel management can improve on this.

Staff attempted to repair my luggage which has a wheel broken by the time I arrived at Super Hotel Lohas. Even though the wheel eventually dropped off and I had to buy a new one, I greatly appreciate that the hotel staff attempted to repair it with super glue. Thank you so much. Additionally, hotel staff was kind enough to help receive packages delivered to the hotel before I check in. They received the package and organised it such that I could get it upon arrival. Staff was also helpful with the laundry service when I was clueless about how to operate the machine. Onsen was unique with fizzy soda-like water.

Only draw back is reception isn’t 24/7 as compared to other hotels. Otherwise, very well done.
