Tokyu Stay Meguro Yutenji

The location is very close to the train station. One of major supermarket is located next to the station and is opened to the midnights.

You can hear the train from your room early in the morning around 5 o'clock.

Not super clean as you would expect from hotels in Japan. Especially around the bottom of the washing machine. I didn’t feel comfortable using items from under the sink. It’s our second time, we got the larger room for lot more $ because the double bed room is tiny. This room they say can room up to 4 people, is comfortable for 2 ppl. it would be only possible to have 4 ppl stay by packing futons like sardines. Feels pricey for what you get. Not sure if we’ll stay here again..

The location was perfect! 1 minute walk from the station and around the hotel were many shops, restaurants and coffee bars. The peaceful vibes around the neighborhood were also amazing.

Not as shiny modern as the pictures, but still a very good value for offered comfort – sometimes hard to communicate in English with the staff but they are super nice and accommodating - if would be great to have an international TV channels (eg. CNN, BBC, …)

This property in Yuentji is one of the beat, you can not go wrong booking here. The community im Yutenji is amazing. The staff are patient, intelligent, and full of personality. I absolutely love this place and have no complaints.

The facilities were cozy and exceeded my expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable, I wanted to stay in. Already booking my next trip. This is now my favorite hotel in Tokyo. The comfortness of the bed was the selling point.

Clean and convenient rooms. Washer/dryer and kitchenette great for families. Lovely, quiet neighbourhood.

Yutenji area in Meguro City became our favourite neighbourhood in Tokyo, staying there was an absolute delight. Close to everything big and noisy like Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, yet very cosy and local with great bars, cafes, restaurants and shops around the hotel. The hotel itself is pretty simple, but the rooms are quite spacious and have everything you need for a longer stay. While the facilities are old, everything was spotless! The staff were friendly and helpful. On our next stay we will make sure to stay there again! Highly recommend if you look for a good deal in a wonderful neighbourhood.

I think every room has a balcony and the view is beautiful. I got lucky and was able to see Mt. Fuji in one of the mornings of my stay there. The place is spacious for Japan hotels and was an extremely good price. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes or about 2-3 stops away from Shibuya. Most other places were about an hour of travel on train, including Disneyland and Haneda Airport which is awesome to me and it felt like 20 minutes instead. The staff speaks English and are super friendly! There is a washer/dryer (that I did not use so I cannot comment on that) and a small kitchen area with a stove, microwave, and mini fridge. There is a pan and dishes to use. The bathroom is pretty spacious for Japan and the toilet seat is heated!!!! Felt amazing lol. There is also the bidet options that I as an American was afraid to use lol. There is a TV and a small dining area as well. As well as a 7 Eleven, Family Mart, Grocery store, and pharmacy 2-3 minutes away from the hotel. There is shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes all included inside the hotel. You are also able to rent free of charge (or borrow lol) hair curlers/straighteners!! Which is awesome because I forgot mine ha.

The early check in isn’t until 12 PM (but they will take care of your stuff for you if you would like to leave it there until it is time for check in). I was charged about $44 for checking in at 12.

Great location, easy access to the metro. Rooms are roomy and great to have a washing machine in the room.
