Ryokan was very clean and staff were very nice. I spoke Japanese but all the staff could speak English. The rentable bath was a gem in Tokyo and the surrounding Asakusa area was quiet and pleasant.

Location , great Japanese bath, lovely tatami flooring. Helpful front desk

Kyogi was great. Gave us great references and even went with us while showing us the way. He also followed up about the noise in our room and found the source of the noise.
We were not impressed about the public bath.
restaurants nearby. room is bigger, as compared with other ryokan.
noisy location, especially in the early morning, which affected my sleep. facility would be better with upgrade.
Good location but no view, which wasn’t really a problem.
I had a hard time blow drying hair in bedroom where there was no mirror. Got tricky running going back & forth to the bathroom to see.
Location is great - centrally located, but on a side street that is quieter. The room was comfortable and the experience of staying in a traditional ryokan was beyond my expectations.
I wish that they were on a hot springs, but that's a tough one to find. They did a great job mitigating this by offering a japanese bath, which we took advantage of and enjoyed.
The staff was very friendly. the rooms were quaint and bed surprisingly comfortable.
Construction going on across the street and really no view to speak of.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Unique features (I did not have previous experience with this style). I loved it. The hotel is very centrally located. They suggested a beautiful walk early in the morning.
Private bath was very nice! My husband has tattoos so I had to find a private bath for us. We were even able to go together. It was big enough for both of us and it was soooo relaxing after a night full of walking. The futons were very comfortable and tatami mats were soft. The space was a perfect size for two people. We even enjoyed the lounge. They had several games and activities you can play. Definitely looks better than the pictures! The people at the front were also very welcoming. Highly recommend.
None!
Bath, divided room with sleeping area and living area, location within Asakusa, lobby popsicles and tea, super friendly and helpful staff
First rate service from staff. The private bath. The central location.
Beautiful ryokan with great onsen. Excellent location near Senso-ji Shrine near to lots of shopping and dining. Lots of nice touches like free tea, snacks and ice pops and some activities in the lobby (like origami and Japanese calligraphy). Kind and gracious hosts. I loved the yukata (lightweight robes) pajamas provided.
We only stayed here one night because of a change of travel plans. I wish we could have stayed longer. I can't really think of anything I didn't like. Maybe the elevator was small, but not enough to be inconvenient.
Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. My family used the bath- soooo relaxing. The staff was above and beyond helpful with arranging taxis and recommendations. They were so kind and friendly!
Spacious room with comfortable futons. Great location with lots of food options nearby. Quiet neighborhood even though close to Senso-ji temple. Excellent and friendly staff!
The location was good, the staff were kind and helpful, and the room was nice and clean. We slept very well on the comfortable mattresses.
This ryokan is located near Nakamise Shopping Street and the Asakusa temple. Still quiet at night. Super friendly and helpful staff and the private bath is the cherry on top ;) Loved the rooms and we slept really well on the futons. We had such a great stay and will definitely come again! Thank you so much :)
nothing to mention
Everything was amazing. The friendly helpful staff, the beautiful traditional room, the location right in the middle of old Asakusa. Also the bath was a really great experince. Even though they dont serve breakfast they have a nice lounge with coffee, tea, snacks, icecream. Me and my son loved to stay here. Thank you so much! ❤️
