    Pros +

    • All rooms have been renovated, nice hotel I would stay there again.
    • The location was very convenient. The staff were excellent, very kind and helpful. The room I had was surprisingly quiet even though it was right across from the elevator. It didn’t get noisy until someone moved into a room across from the window. I also liked the water available in the lobby all day and breakfast pastries available in the mornings.
    • The hotel offers free coffee and pastries every morning which are very nice. It rained a lot while I was in Japan so it was also convenient to have an area to borrow free umbrellas at the entrance. The rooftop lounge area is my favorite area of the hotel as it is open to the air and just peaceful! I had breakfast there one morning. However, it is located right in front of a few nicer hotel rooms on the 12th floor and I felt that the guests there did not appreciate people hanging out and talking in that area. The hotel is in a very central location in Ginza so it was extremely easy to get around.

    Cons -

    • I know the rooms are generally smaller in Japan, but this was quite small and did not even have a closet. There was no view from the one small window, which when added with the smallness of the room could make a sensitive person feel claustrophobic.
    • The basic rooms are tiny! I didn’t have enough room on the floor to even open my luggage. But for central Tokyo, I suppose you work with what you have!
    • Not much to say on what we didn’t like.

Location is nice, close to subway station. The room is clean, small but have everything you need.

The hotel was in a great location close to a couple different metro stations. The lobby was small but beautiful. Lots of places to sit inside and just outside of the hotel. In the more the hotel offers free mini croissants and coffee. Other breakfast items can be purchased onsite. There is also a small rooftop deck. It’s beautiful. We don’t get to use it during our stay but our we had stay longer we would have definitely had a coffee up there. The rooms are small but clean and a great use of space. I stayed with a friend, and we used the door that separated the bed area from the bathroom area so we could both get changed and have our own space. We loved this quaint boutique hotel!

Not much to say on what we didn’t like.

Modern design of the rooms and the overall hotel, clean rooms and very supportive / friendly staff who assisted us whenever there was a need.

Own personal expectation of the room size versus the actual room we got. For this trip due to having two child one of the important requirements were that the bed is big enough to have all of us sleep in it. That was met but we did require a bigger room, so next time if and when we do decide to stay here will be looking into that to better fit our requirement.

Somewhat close to the shops we wanted to go and near Ginza station

How they only clean every 3rd day

    5YuchengPosted on: 1-9-2026

    location is good

Too crowded, mostly business people. Room has no table to eat and sit

Location, beds were comfortable, nice bathroom.

The room was pretty small. No space to open our luggage without it being in our way. No closet.

Location was perfect for Ginza. Quiet enough part of town but close enough to all the shopping and eating.

Room layout could’ve been better to make the room feel more spacious

    Great location, clean, comfortable.

The room shower was low quality (a close cell, like taking a shower in a vessel), breakfast was poor (breakfast in a box, small variety, no milk for the coffee - a hostel class, not 4 4-star hotel), and was disappointed with the high charge to extend the room for a couple of hours for a late checkout.

    Location Modern

    Rooms too small for luggage

Location, comfort, nice sheets and comforters!

Hot water in sink was very low pressure and overall shower pressure was low.The hand soap was very, very drying to the skin.

Cute bonus - free of charge morning coffee, tee and some fresh bakery. Did not expect but had used it. Location is perfect to explore Ginza district.

King size bed was consisting of 2 mattresses, which made stay of 3 people (2 adults plus kid) very uncomfortable. King size bed should have one king size mattress. After you check-in you getting informed that they clean once during 3 days. Never-ever met such room cleaning policy, specially in 4* hotel.

The location was very convenient, with a train station and many shops close by. The deluxe twin room was an amazing space to stay.

Some louder guests at the roof lounge late at night

Nicely designed hotel rooms. Having a full size separate shower and separate toilet is a plus.

Rather cold front staff didn't make it feel as welcoming as your usual hotel, particularly not a four star hotel. Also, rooms are only cleaned every three days unless specifically requested otherwise. That also means the rubbish won't be taken out or fresh water bottles provided as would be common in other hotels. One day, we left at 9am and put up the "Please Clean" sign and returned in the afternoon to the room not being cleaned, sign still above the door handle. Raised this with the hotel staff and rather than being accommodating, they asked repeatedly if the sign had been put up and claimed that the cleaning staff checked and it wasn't there. What I expect happened was that the sign was above the lock, and our room was at the end of the corridor and the door is slightly obscured by a wall so the sign wasn't visible unless facing the door.I understand that mistakes happen, but it was not very good service to be challenged about the sign for a simple request. One more thing to note, the blinds aren't really blackout and it's fairly bright at night with light leakage from neighbouring buildings and the street.

Terrific Ginza location by the Kabukiza! Comfortable, well planned rooms where everything has been thought-though and presented with understated flair and grace. First rate service.

a great location, staff’s hospitality, ambience.

    7YifatPosted on: 11-26-2025

The hotel is located in Ginza area, close to the metro and other restaurants

The breakfast, the coffee . The breakfast is not continental, only a various (total of 3 types) cakes and hot regular coffee. The other option was a box of various traditional Japanese breakfast.

The place was very well located to transportation and some great restuarants. It was also close to food markets and alley shopping.

It was fine for the two of us but a little cramped. I didn't like the bathroom set up with the sink outside the bathroom. I also thought that there was no place for our luggage so was difficult to get into our bags.
