Pros +
- Near by tawaramachi train station
- I loved how accessible everything was, train station (ginza line) was a short walk away. Then you have the Family Mart and 7-eleven right by it! It was very close to the main tourist areas in Asakusa
- Friendly staff. 24hrs drink reception. Easy access to toiletries and other items required for the stay. Lovely breakfast
Cons -
- bathroom is small and no hanger for towels in the bathroom.washbasin is nightmare because it¿s unreachable.
- Upon entering the bathroom there was a noticeable urine smell, we assumed it was because of the flooring of the bathroom. The smell never really went away. This was what mainly threw us off about the place. There was also a lack of places to hang clothes, but then again Tokyo hotels are quite small so that’s kind of a given
- Bathroom smelled bad even after they cleaned it with bleach and the exhaust fan didn't work.

location
We went with the family, booked for my partner and 2 kids, but room and space was full of smoke and smell of it. horrible space for families
Great location, had all necessary amenities (laundry on our floor, microwave one floor away, fridge in room), helpful staff, nice to have attached restaurant.
Very little natural light
Local was centrally located, which was perfect for our family. We were able to walk a short distance to shop, eat and catch the train.
Good service and nice facility
Staff had bad body odor, lobby smelled bad
The location is really good just a two minute walk from Tawatamachi Station. The room was clean.
Room was clean, staff were friendly. Location was basically next to the ginza line and 1 or 2 stops from Ueno station which is a gateway to several major tourist lines (JR lines + Asakusa line)
Room was small and narrow. There was only 1 area of my room I was able to fully open up my luggage in
The location was great, close to metro stations, convenience stores, restaurants and touristic spots. The price are fair. It's nice to have a restaurant were you can have breakfast, or a drink later night. The lobby is plenty of amenities, free coffee machine, and even a exchange machine.
It's normal that the rooms in Japan were small, but this one was the smallest one. Minor comment!
Most of the staff was able to communicate with me in English. They were very helpful in providing information for me, the best ways to get to different destinations within the city, etc. They were very accommodating and let me leave my luggage there for the afternoon after I checked out before leaving for the train station. Despite it being a small, my clean room had amenities that fitted my needs. It was quiet at night. The location of the hotel was so convenient for the metro and Asakusa market and Senso-ji Temple were an easy stroll from the hotel. Plentiful eateries from which to choose closer towards the market. I booked my room at the last minute and was grateful that the dates were available. The rate was a very good value and I would stay at this place again.
I really didn’t care too much for the breakfast fare selection and the price. I ate breakfast there the first morning and decided that I could do better going elsewhere in the morning.
Good value for the money. Close to attractions in asakusa but not in the middle of the chaotic tourist part. Room is small by my standards but that is normal for Tokyo.
Short walk to Metro Tawaramachi station and the post office. Easy walking distance to Asakusa market and Senso-ji Temple. Lots of places to eat around the area closer to the market.
Nothing. Had to book two separate hotels last minute for extremely expensive cost as the state of these rooms was unacceptable. Looked NOTHING like as advertised.
Cleanliness. Had two separate rooms, both of which were not clean. Mould in the bathroom, hole in bathtub, hole in wall near bed, clothing stickers from previous occupants. Staff tried to pressure into keeping second room. Had to mentally break down and speak with multiple staff for them to consider refunding.
Great location in Asakusa close to train stations. Japanese breakfast was very good. Overall a good value for the money.
Air conditioning in the room did not work very well, it was more effective to open the window. Luckily it was cool enough outside in the fall but this would be pretty bad in summer heat.
The location was good, near metro station. Comfortable bed.
Very small room, outdated. Breakfast was not good, only three choices.
Location is good
Rooms are exceptionally small and no city view
Great accommodation! Quiet location but close to everything that we need around Asakusa. I find it a little too far from city center but if you like Senso-jo Temple, Ueno and Tokyo Skytree. You can stay here. Very close to Tawaramachi station. GINZA line is always a best bet. You just need to take a walk! They can keep your forwarded luggages too! They can help you forward your luggage just make sure you have enough time. Minimum 2 days before the day you wanted your luggages to arrive.
VERY Small room. 2 adults and 1 kid was booked here in booking.com but the room just can fit 2 people. Good for 1 person, If you want to be more comfortable. If you have a lot of luggages. It will be very tight to fit in. This hotel was the most expensive from all the accommodations we had on this trip.
Everything. It’s close to train station and convenience store. They provide toiletries when you check in. They have this comfortable long shirt in every room as well. After you check out, you can still leave your luggage in their lobby for a couple of hours. The staffs are friendly and helpful. We are definitely going back to Japan and considering to stay in this place again :)
