- The hotel's in a good spot. Bed's comfy.
Cons -
- The Front Desk Staff SUPER RUDE!!!!! The Old Big Guy Yelling at me, he has a worst pronunciation of English, and also how he treat tourist super bad! i know lately japanese people really disturbing with tourist, but if you don't like the tourist than you don't ever work in hospitality field especially that you always meet tourist/new person everyday.Actually i'm just okay with the hotel, but this old big front desk guy i can't accept the way he treat me!
- The hotel's a little old, and the room was kinda dusty.
- Not necessarily cons, but two things to note: we didn’t know we’d be placed in the second building, which required taking two separate elevators to get to our room. Additionally, they didn’t provide hand soap or lotion.

Simple, no-frills stay in a very convenient location. The staff was helpful and responsive, especially the younger guy at the front desk who helped us immediately when we had issues. We stayed here for a full week and would definitely stay again!

Good location, Good value for money, close to metro lines, quiet place, The room in well equipped with air condition, refrigerator, cattle.
small room and small bed
Room looked much better than on picturesCheck-in at exactly 3PM, everything went alright, staff knew enough english to explain everythingAll felt clean, despite the hotel seeming to be on the older sideThere was enough space to open our two suitcasesVery near to ShinjukuPlenty of small stores around - 7/11, FamilyMart, Lawson (all non-stop)Side street location also shielded us from the noise of the trafficSuper fast checkout
Room was very small - double bed as well (JPN standards are just different than those in the EU)Bathroom was even smaller, for a 190cm guy, I had issues standing straight in the bathroom + even sitting on the toilet as there wasn't enough spaceWindows didn't insulate properly - sound wasn't an issue really, but cold got easily through (upside was that somehow, the window curtains managed to block it)Unnecessary towel change every day
No Breakfast, good location easy walk to centre
Hotel needs a little modernising, but in general for age and price and location being a 2* its about right.
Walking distance from Shinjuku station in a quiet side street, great for late arrivals/early departures for train. Taxi from airport was quick and easy. Staff was there to check us in at 2am! Bed was comfortable and duvet was warm and soft.
I loved the location. Very close to all things in Shinjuku. Easy walking distance. The staff was very nice and super helpful.
I would not say that I did not like anything. This is a great affordable place to stay in a very popular district.
Overall a good stay. Only spent a night here as I was moving to a different city. Check In was smooth, rooms are clean and tidy. Its a 16mins walk from the Shinjuku Station but great area for food and drinks.
Location not too bad
Bed comfortable but I can not control the air con in the room sometimes too hot because it control from the centre. and you have to pay to stored your bag before check in or after check out 500 yen per bag so I rather to stored in the locker at the train station instead.
Amazing location and value for three people, and the Japanese room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared (there was even water for tea already hot when we arrived in the room). The man working at the counter was friendly and courteous even though I am not fluent in Japanese, and we had no problems checking in. We also loved the in-room yukata
Great local bars, restaurants and convenience shops, very quiet late at night.
Construction site outside my window was noisy, no fault of hotel. Maybe I should have asked for discount.
Cheap and well located.
Could have been cleaner. The room was damp and the sheets felt wet. We opened the window to ventilate and had to close it because there was noise coming from the building site right outside (Sept 2024).
Had a good stay in our tatami room. The room was quiet and the futon were comfy. We were a group of three but space was no issue as we could fold away the futon when we weren't using it. The check in process was easy and staff were always available. We had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the station, restaurants and other areas of interest. There is an area nearby with lots of small local bars. Shinjuku Gyoen within a walkable distance. The hotel is in a quiet location off of a side street of a bigger road. We always enjoyed ending our days walking back onto this quiet street to our room.
Great value for a short trip in Shinjuku. Off any main streets so pretty quiet for the most part. Less than a 10 minute walk to the closest subway station.
Room was pretty small and the windows don't do a good job of muffling outside sound. Usually pretty quiet but there was one night where we were able to hear loud conversations from outside the entire night.
Location
Bathroom very squeezy. Not senior friendly. Slippery and poses risk to fall.
Its in center of Shinjuku so pretty easy to walk around. Staff is very helpful. Pretty comfortable bed and big size room.
Hotel is overall quite old but anyway great value for money
I like the fact that the hotel location is walkable to the center and train station. Also, the staff here are nice, friendly and really helpful.
Old & dated rooms. 1 Small pokey lift to service 5 floors. Location central so that was handy.
