Very clean rooms and regular cleaning every 3 days. No complaints about the room

Price has increased significantly as compared to the past, reducing the value prop.Somewhat unavoidable given the high demand

The room was small and cozy for solo travelers! The staff I spoke with were kind and understanding despite the language barrier. Enough luggage space underneath the bed even for large suitcases. There is a contactless store on the 1st floor and a nearby conbini. Affordable and easily accessible from the Ayase train station.

Everything was great, the room was clean and very useful from the TV to the amenities and the service tip top. That's why I came back.

    Couldn't think of anything really

Clean room with plenty of amenities. Great location with a large park nearby. Very quiet and relaxing.

APA Hotel AyaseAPA Hotel Ayase is great for our needs — close to the station, clean, and reasonably priced. The rooms are the typical size for a Japanese business hotel, and the “system bathroom” is compact but comfortable and has everything you need. The showers are great and have strong water pressure, which is always a plus. Overall, it’s a solid choice for budget travelers looking for convenience and value.

No easy point card system for foreign travelers.

The heat is turned on in the hotel. No option to turn the air conditioner (cooler) on. Even with the heater set to 16°it was still too warm. Just because it's October doesn't mean there are warm days outside.

apa is hands down 1 of the best hotels in Japan can't go wrong I always stay at the brand its a win every time in Tokyo super value for money 5 star stay for budget wallets

    nothing perfect stay

The staff were very nice. The other guests kept to themselves. The laundry machine was great for washing a small amount of clothes. The room after it got made looked cleaner than when we first got there.

The room needed to be able to get colder. The air hit the bottom of the bed. Took a while for it to get cold. Also there needs to be another elevator.

I stayed at APA Hotel Ayase Ekimae for 10 nights before moving on to another APA branch, and I found this location to be newer, cleaner, and more comfortable. Housekeeping is done thoroughly, with bedsheets changed every three days. You also don't need to bring your own pajamas, as they provide a Yukata that is replaced daily—very convenient and helps save space in your luggage. The hotel has all the amenities you might need, and one of the things I especially liked about this location is that it's about 30 minutes by subway from central Tokyo. That makes it peaceful and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle, but still very convenient—it’s just a short walk from Ayase Station, which has elevators, making it easy to move even with three large (29-inch) suitcases.Although Ayase is in the suburbs, the area is full of shops, restaurants, and malls, so you can comfortably live without needing to go into the city all the time. Just one train stop away is Keisei Station, where you can get to Narita Airport directly without needing to transfer at Ueno. It might not be an express train, but I didn’t mind—it was a relaxing ride, and I wasn’t in a rush.If you enjoy a local, calm atmosphere with the convenience of easy access to Tokyo, I highly recommend this place! However, if your trip is all about nightlife and being in the heart of the action, this location might not suit you, as it does take a bit of time to get into the city.

The room, like most APA Hotels, was quite compact, which might be a bit challenging if you're traveling with large luggage. There’s also limited space for unpacking or relaxing, especially during longer stays. Additionally, the area doesn’t have the excitement or energy of central Tokyo, which may not suit those looking to be in the middle of nightlife or tourist spots. But personally, I didn’t mind—it actually added to the quiet and peaceful atmosphere I was looking for.Another point to consider is the transportation cost. If you’re not using a Tokyo Subway Pass like the 72-hour unlimited ticket, the train fares can become a bit expensive due to the distance from central Tokyo. Also, while the hotel provides laundry facilities, the experience wasn’t ideal. Washing costs 500 yen for 30 minutes, and drying is 100 yen per 30-minute cycle. However, even after multiple cycles, the clothes remained damp, so I had to hang them to dry in the room. It would be more convenient if the dryers were more efficient.

good location, just across the ayase station. Though a bit far to the city but there are lots of shops and eateries around.Helpful staffClean and comfy room

Room size is quite small but it's in Tokyo, so it is understandable

Everything I needed to relax and recover from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo was in this room! The location is a ~30min train ride to the centre. I booked a single bed room, but I would say it was actually a small double bed which I was happy to discover. Maybe it’s called a single room because it’s for one person only. Great quality mattress and bedding - the pillows were a bit different to European norms but this wasn’t an issue. The hotel even provided a yukata dressing gown for use which was cool. The room had a kettle, fridge, hair dryer, and a bunch of toiletries including shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There were quite a few restaurants nearby, and a 7 Eleven right next to the hotel. It was a very comfortable stay.

It's a standard APA Hotel, so everything is good and clean. This branch of APA is quite far away from Tokyo city center but it's very near the train station and also got a very nice park very near the hotel that I have enjoyed Sakura watching.

It was super clean, staff was super helpful, 2 minutes to the trains station, supermarket etc

The room was small, but we were expecting that.

The location is great: near the train station and subway and near the center.

The staff speak a little of english.. most of the time I used the translator

The staff was so helpful. We accidentally left stuff and they messaged us right away to get it back. Slept great here, clean and comfortable.

    All was great!

The staff were nice and helpful. But I think there were some no smoking rooms available when we asked for a change of room.

The breakfast deal at Doutor coffee shop was not worth it. As morning set was about 500 yen. When the deal price was 950 yen.and there wasn't a choice. The room at night was exceedingly dry.
