    Pros +

    • Everything was very clean! Our room was conveniently located right next to the train station that took us anywhere! I also loved that there was a 24 hour laundry service right next to our building where our room was. So convenient!
    • Very clean rooms, great location, fantastic price. Communication with staff was very easy as well!We really liked how comfy the beds were, too. Slept even better than at home!I want to stay again next time I'm in Tokyo for vacation.
    • The host is very responsive. It’s easy to communicate with them in English. Self service checking in and out has no problem.

    Cons -

    • Nothing to mention! Everything was great!
    • The shower in room 302 on the 3rd floor did not have a working hot water valve. We were able to make do for the 2 nights as we were at the end of our trip in Tokyo, but slight inconvenience. We would still love to return next time!
    • It was a bit far from major stations but that is a plus and minus.

Super cute, very airbnb type. Very close to some small shops, but nowhere near the super busy quarters of Tokyo. Makes the nights a bit quieter and you get to see more of city than you otherwise would. Free water is also a major plus!

It was a bit far from major stations but that is a plus and minus.

Clean, lots of amenities, large for Japan

The location was pretty convenient with some tourist spots at walking distance and a metro station 3min away. The laundry in the same building was very comfortable and the common space even though very simple, we used it a couple brief times and it was okay.

As almost every property in Japan, the room was small. Perfect for one person I think, but tight for two. The bathroom was almost impossible to get dry in because you stumbled over the toilet. Not having physical reception to ask things directly to a person was also challenging for some services we needed (like luggage forwarding).

Excellent location, tiny but cozy room with comfortable bed and coin laundry on the 1st floor. The host helped us with luggage delivery to the next hotel which was a great help!

Loved the location. Hatsudai was out of the craziness of the city but you could still comfortably walk to some cool areas

I liked how quiant and quiet the neighborhood is, and how specious the room was compared to other accommodations. I also enjoyed the common areas where you can lounge, work and get essentials like tea, shampoo, etc.

Location is near the subway station, 7/11. Meets the minimum basic needs, a place to sleep and shower, but nothing more.

This is a fully automated hotel. You check yourself in and out. A code to the hotel and room is sent to you along with the forms that you need to fill including taking copies of your passport (usually front office does that). Rooms are small (maybe this is Tokyo style).

The location was good. The vibe of the "hotel" is kind of weird because it's like a combination of hotel and hostel and perhaps apart hotel? Not sure, but you have everything you need fortunately because there's no staff 99% of the time.

The room is a bit small. If you have two suitcases, it'll be crowded. The bathroom was also very small. They should put a shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the walls of the shower too.

All the basics covered well. Easy to find. Quiet. Affordable. Good location.

Took some tries to get the a/c working. Reliance on communication via Line did not work for us.

We stayed here for four nights and really liked it. The location is fantastic—it's in a quiet, well-connected area and only about 30 minutes from Shibuya Station on foot, or just 10 minutes by metro. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. For Tokyo, the size was perfectly fine—compact but comfortable. Check-in was seamless and everything was super easy.

First and foremost, the price was the main reason we chose to stay here—it was about 30% cheaper than anything comparable in Shinjuku. At first glance, the room doesn’t impress, but it grows on you over time. One stop from Shinjuku city was nice.

The room layout is poor—the bathroom sink is in the main room, making it hard to have any privacy when washing or shaving. The neighborhood is uninteresting, with nowhere decent to eat. Getting to other parts of Tokyo is more challenging because you have to transfer through the extremely busy Shinjuku Station, which takes about 10–15 minutes just to transfer.

The rooms where perfect for 2 people, we booked, 3 rooms for 5 persons, so we fit perfectly. the shower pressure was very nice, there's a lift so this is very convenient luggage wise, it is low mobility friendly too. We had a problem and luckily there was a cleaning staff member who helped us resolve it.

We had a problem just checkin in, they only sent 2 out of 3 codes for the rooms booked, there was a staff member who helped us and we figured it out. Other than that one time no one was seen around the accomodations that worked there so if any other problems where to be we wouldn't have been able to solve it. They are really hard to reach out to. I tried reaching out before check in because I notice the third code missing and I was really anxious that we arrived and that wasn't resolved. Luckily we bumped into this person and he helped us I'm very greatful for his help.Tho there is a subway line near the stay, this subway line doesn't connect to anything else, you need to go to shinjuku and then connect to other subway lines which is the hardest subway station in tokyo in my opinion, and because this subway line isn't very popular is the furthest away in shinjuku. It was better taking a bus from wherever you where and less expensive although more travel time.

The host was very communicative and helpful for transferring luggage from their establishment to my next hotel. The place was clean and quiet.

Solid place to stay, comfortable, clean, and convenient

    Nothing, it was great.

    10DalinaPosted on: 2-15-2025

The location is extremely convenient, right next to a train station and only 1 stop away from Shinjuku. The rooms were spacious and the common room facilities was always kept clean and organised. The staff was extremely helpful in assisting us with luggage transfer to our next accommodation. Will definitely be staying here again

Best location, accessibility to public transport, clean and peaceful environment and setting of the accommodation, few people interactions (privacy) and laundromat next door ?
