Pros +
- It was close enough to Kanda Station to walk, but far enough away to avoid train noise.
- The rooms were quiet and were kept impeccably clean by the staff, who offer a free room cleaning service. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are equipped with heated/bidet equipped Japanese toilets and deep baths with warm water on tap. The location is arguably the greatest asset of the hotel, with Akihabara Electric Town only a ten minute walk across the river to the north. Kanda station is a 5 minute walk to the west and allows access to the whole metro/rail system and there is a 7-Eleven next door to the hotel with an international ATM for foreign guests to withdraw yen-cash. The area surrounding the hotel has a wide assortment of restaurants for very reasonable prices.
- Very clean and tidy, extremely helpful staff, good location, comfy bed
Cons -
- I knew going in that the rooms were small, but even then we found the lack of free space somewhat limiting.
- Washing Facilities:The clothes washing facilities are very limited: two medium sized top-loading machines and two small dryers with half the capacity of the washing machines shared amongst all guests (about 80 rooms).Wash cycles take 30 minutes and drying cycles about 60 for anything other than very light clothes, and often guests are late to remove their clothes from the dryers, further lengthening the wait. This is the only minor issue we encouraged, just plan to wash in small loads of 1 or 2 days clothing and set aside 1+1/2 hours
- Very small room size, a little pricey but that's Tokyo

Very clean and tidy, extremely helpful staff, good location, comfy bed
Very small room size, a little pricey but that's Tokyo
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Check in was fast.
The location was a bit far from the train station and the room was very small for the price - it wasn't big enough inside to fully open a large wheeled suitcase. The mattress pad had been washed but looked like there were some previous stains on it.
This is my second time staying at the Tokyo-Kanda location. The location is excellent for those looking to travel around and enjoy the city (multiple train and subway stations within a 7 - 10 minute walk). It is quite busy during work hours, but the area calms down after sunset and there are a great variety of food options within walking distance. The room was always very clean and the hotel has well-functioning washer (around 300 yen) and dryer (100yen per 30 mins) facilities, vending machine, and free amenties (toothbrushes, pajamas, sunscreen etc). The staff are helpful and kind and speak multiple languages. Never had any issues with noise from outside or from other guest rooms.
I would not recommend this hotel for families or groups of friends as the rooms are very cramped and small, however, it is great for solo-travellers or couples looking for somewhere simple that ticks all the boxes. To give a rough idea of size, there is not sufficient room to lay a medium-large suitcase on the floor and the bathroom has standing room for one person only.
great location next to kanda station, very friendly staff
breakfast could be improved
Breakfast was good and amnesties were good
Only had apple juice for breakfast. Could add orange juice in addition to apple juice so there are multiple options for guests
Excellent location. Clean rooms. Helpful staff
The room was small but had everything we needed. Everything was new and very clean. Various amenities, such as shampoo, bath additives, tea, and coffee, were available at the reception for everyone to pick up. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby and close to the station, yet without crowds. The staff were wonderful, they helped us send our luggage to the next hotel and even suggested the cheapest option. Overall, we had a great stay. I would definitely recommend this place and stay again the next time I’m in Tokyo.
The hotel checked all the boxes. Comfortable rooms, free amenities were provided, super clean and new. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, surrounded by lots of good restaurants and bars, and a 5 min walk to the Kanda subway station.
Great location and amenities. Enjoyed the lounge. Small but comfortable room.
Coin laundry was inefficient and didn’t dry our clothes.
About a 5 minute walk from Kanda station. The room was very quiet
Room was smaller but average size for Tokyo. It would be nice if there were some English channels on the TV
Modern, Nice, Compact Hotel, limited but quite enough space for 2 pax to open M size luggages. Happy to meet a young trainee who can speak Bahasa Indonesia, and help a lot in quick check-in processes & explained any information we needed.
Location is great.
The rooms are super small. If you travel as a couple, you can open one carry-on at a time :) The staff is very nice and helpful
Convenient location - close to central train station Lot's of great amenities including face masks, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Staff was super helpful - helped us ship our luggage Cool & interesting neighborhood that is not super touristy, but still inner city
Bed & pillows were not overly comfy, but was not a deal breaker for us Room was quite small, but that was to be expected! Still able to fit 2 medium / large suitcases
Good location, good comfortable beds, and a solid breakfast with both Japanese and Western options
Location close to train station, 5 minutes walkStaff are friendly and helpful
A room is so small that hardly open 2 suitcases No longe no space to relax Breakfast is so so
Basic minimum hotel, front desk would not give more than one extra pillow for two and its a hard one. Also no followup was done after complaining about the room being dirty (air condition was black, dust in corners and some sticky substance spoiled under the bed), other than that it was fine but not up to Japanese standards in other hotels.
Staff were extremely helpful. Room was very clean and all amenities were in great condition. Location was great, about a 5-10 min walk from the train stations.
Overall, it was great value for money. I do not have significant complaints.
Not Much -
Lots - room poorly maintained, tub slippery, room poorly fitted out.
