The room is beautiful and tastefully designed The beach is incredible ( even when raining) But the most important thing was the ladies of the staff, they made us feel so comfortable and at home It was possible to order take out from nearby restaurants (which were really good)

I wouldn’t say it something not to like but to take into account, the location is a bit far from the centerBut with such a beautiful place there’s no need to leave

The Mooring Resort exceeded our expectations in all regards -- compared to most resorts on the island it was on the smaller side (while still having beach access!) which made it a very relaxed place to hang out and spend time on the beach!

Minor, but for the price it would be great if breakfast was included, which it currently isn't. There is a restaurant next door which is connected to the resort, but on the expensive side for Thailand.

Not recommend eat at the restaurant exactly near the place, quality is bad, the rest nothing to complain

Perfect location and amazing staff. Hearing the sea as we fell asleep and woke up was amazing. The restaurant next door was great.

Not the cleanest beach at low tide, but you can walk 5 minutes to the next beach. High tide the beach was great.

What’s not to love? The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely. The beach had plenty of both shade and sun, with a beautiful view. The sea was swimmer friendly. Everything was wonderful.

The mattress was a little firmer than we are used to. If they could find a way to serve an included breakfast, that would be wonderful. Eating out 3 times a day adds up.

- Quiet, peaceful and beautiful views. Distant location from crowded beaches and the city but not far away from Phuket town if you want to take a walk there in the evening - swimming pool, villas on the sand, view of the sea in the morning and birds singing, small paradise

- doors have holes through which insects get in. I saw a huge Scolopendra in the bathroom, I almost got a heart attack while killing it. And of course mosquitoes and huge ants, you keep killing and they keep coming. Basically at night heaven turns into hell. Couldn’t sleep as something was walking on me all the time- they do not clean anything properly, take a look under the bed and behind the wardrobe as well. Have never seen so many spider nets before

Beautiful setting on a quiet beach, spacious rooms are in very good condition. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant next door is excellent quality.

before check-in the communication was very good. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they offered to help us with the transport and allow us to check in early and stay on the beach after the check out. All check in details was offered professional in a pleasant tone.The location is right on the beach and in one day a friendly monkey walked and we took pictures. :)The 7 Eleven is like 2 kilometers away and you can do the shopping's there and take a Grab taxi on the way back.Also in the evening we ate at another restaurants on the other beach which was on short distance on the right hand side of the location.If you want to book a trip with the boat, the staff arrange it for you.Also the Thai massage can be booked with the help of the staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a heavenly escape by the sea!

The Mooring resort is great place to have your vacation. It is in quiet and beautiful area with a lot of greenery, trees and awesome nature. The bungalows are nice and clean. The beach is near and the pool is great as well. We had our room cleaned every single day. Even though the area is not full with restaurants and clubs, there are multiple options for eating, including ordering food on reception. The personal is great and very helpful! We really enjoyed our time and will be happy to visit again :)

A bit distant from the main city and the ports but having taxi is always an option, so I wouldn’t count this as negative thing.

Everything was very clean, staff was very sweet, nice room. Very good place to spend some lazy days.

If there would be even a small buffet breakfast, then it would be 10/10.

The Resort is direct next to the beach ,we loved it especially if you are with a toddler.We stayes 15 days in karon before ,this was way better for us .You can leave you toddler run around without any traffic and the restaurant next door was great too they have a really good menu with a lot of choices also for children.We stayed 6 night and spend all our days in the resort .The beach is also perfect for small children no waves .Staff was very helpful and the room is spacious and nice .We loved it!!

A stunning little resort. The location is absolutely beautiful, with views over Ao Yon. All villas are within 20 metres of the beach with a swimming pool central to the resort. The beach is so quiet it almost feels private. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they booked taxis for us, arranged for a boat trip from the beach, and did the most they could to make us feel welcome. The resort doesn’t have a restaurant as part of it but right next door is The Cove which serves a variety of western and Thai dishes as well as alcoholic drinks.

My only slight criticism is the room, it allows a lot of light in the morning, the shower was pretty weak and didn’t drain very well and our door lock didn’t really work properly. The shower and door lock were, however, promptly repaired by the staff.

The team was great and positive, responsive 24/7 and had even a gurard at nights. Very clean rooms and very quite and relaxed. There is a private beach which is beautiful.

The location is 20 minutes from phuket old town which is nice! However, there is nothing near by walking. You have to rent a motorbike or a car

It's too far away from everything. There is the restaurant of the nearby hotel but it's CRAZY expensive and besides that you have absolutely nothing.

On the beach near the sea. Quiet location and helpful staff

Blocked sewage drains. The bed was hard and gave us aches but I didn’t complain about it so possibly could have got a mattress topper. The sea view was an only from the entrance outside and not from the inside. You have to be very careful for asking for what you want.

peaceful. very local feel. relaxing place. recommend it. it’s more calm seas b west Phuket so a good contrast. nice food at Cove and up the hill lots to see around area if you walk. reef walking around to other beach is fun

Nothing. the seven eleven is a bit far away but good walking exercise. we rented a moped go shopping. but then you get the peace here.

The lack of restaurant...the one next door was not accommodating when we were sick.

The staff made sure everything was perfect, keeping the grounds immaculate and attending to every detail with such warmth and care.We loved our room, too! It was filled with thoughtful touches like daily-refilled water bottles (sustainability win!), cozy bathrobes, a handy beach bag, and even little hedgehogs to brush off sand after a day on the beach. Plus, the fresh coffee provided in-room was fantastic—no instant here!This hotel is a true paradise, where everything just aligns to create an unforgettable experience. We left feeling recharged, relaxed, and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a heavenly escape by the sea!
