Glam Habitat - SHA Extra Plus

The hotel was great in all respect. The staff, facilities and the closeness to pretty much everything made it the perfect lodge.The staff accommodated all our requests.

The TV in the rooms were a struggle to get to work. Also the bathrooms can be better looked after in terms of cleaning but overall these were minor issues.

It is a close walk to the beach.

I booked the Glam due to the reviews but was shocked upon arrival. We left after one full day of a 4 night stay despite no refund! The Glam Habitat had very little to no value for the room rate they charge. I’m an experienced traveler of many years and have been in Asia for the past 7 weeks in many hotels. This is BY FAR the worst one I’ve ever stayed! First off, they require a CASH deposit upon checking in….no advance notice, no credit cards, no exceptions! It is located on an extremely busy, multi-lane road leading to an amusement park. The noise of the cars, motorcycles, and sirens is deafening and the walls of the hotel do not block it making it difficult to sleep in the very uncomfortable and cheap bed they have in the room. The entire property is dirty from ceiling to floor everywhere. The breakfast buffet was very poor quality and really suspect given the lack of clean serving dishes, disgustingly dirty coffee maker, puddles of liquid left on the floor, greasy smudges on glass walls/doors, etc. The breakfast staff do not seem happy to assist guests. The shuttle driver is extremely rude. Hallways are completely lined with solid black curtains giving the feel of a Halloween haunted house or worse. The room was spacious but very dated decor and definitely not cleaned properly. The water pressure and temperature were inadequate. There is a major construction site to one side of the property and a facility with a loud speaker directly behind. Moreover, the pool directly between the two buildings adds to the chaos when kids start to get loud and sound bouncing into every room. If you like to watch news while abroad, forget it at the Glam….no TV channels at all. You can only connect to Netflix. This was definitely a HUGE waste of money….DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

We stayed in the 3 br villa and it was amazing. We loved the pool at the villa, we were able to swim morning and night, after dinner and before breakfast. Beds were amazing and pillows were comfy (I am a pillow snob, so was very happy with them). Between 2pm and 4pm they have free ice cream sundaes at the main pool - used that a few days! Was an easy walk to the beach, but not right on the beach. Staff were amazing. In house food wasn't great, but breakfast was lovely.

The villas are very tech heavy, it would have been great to have a bit of a run through of how to open blinds, turn things on, etc. It took us 10 minutes to work out how to switch on the main light in the master bedroom. :)

The breakfast offers a limited variety of halal options, but there’s still plenty to enjoy. "The air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly at first, but the maintenance team fixed everything quickly."

Great room with private pool and short walk to the beach and restaurants. Our kids loved ice cream happy hour by the pool in the afternoon!

A few small things / issues with our room over our stay but overall great place to stay

Very modern building. The location is superb with a very short walk to the beach.

Noisiness. Our room was next to some kind of pump room and the noise of pumps were constant during the nights. Besides this the bed was creaking badly. And all voices from the inner yard were audible to our bedroom.

Large room, private pool. Very good restaurant. Some dishes are even slightly cheaper than at the beach café. The beach is close by.

The windows faced a busy road (check when you check in). The outdoor air conditioning units on the balcony are pretty noisy if you plan on sleeping in the living room. The room is a bit worn out. The location is a bit out of the way—it's a long walk to the market, 7-Eleven, and the city center in general, where everything interesting is.

Very nice staff, the reception and breakfast teams were welcoming and helpful.Room was cleaned regularly and was very clean and comfortable, Pui and Son our cleaning ladies did a great job! Kids loved the Xbox and ice cream 2pm-4pm happy hour in the pool. Pool in good condition and room spacious.

It is close to the beach (5 min walk) but the first part of the walk is in the side of a pretty busy road. One room was a bit too dark.Otherwise- wonderful hotel and location.

Everything!!! The spacious room, very clean and modern, with kitchen with full size refrigerator filled with fresh water bottles every day. microwave oven and stove. Large dinning table, modern Japanese toilet and a shower with jets for fun.But the main thing was the private pool in the large balcony, it was great.We took the room with breakfast that was more then satisfying and delicious. And the service was beyond great, I really recommend this hotel, and 'llI be back again, miss you already.

This is sort of boutique hotel. Exceptionally clean and private pool. It is literally 4 minutes walk away from the beach with nice restaurants and massage parlour. Check in and out was fairly quick. Each room comes with its own sound bar and woofer which is a touch. Our both apartments had 2 balcony each for a good ventilation if you don't prefer the aircon. The toilets are very posh. The staff member Soar and Amm are exceptionally helpful. We have had a medical emergency and on duty manager Soar made sure that we got everything that we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Although, it is one of the best hotel I have stayed in but there were few things that can be improved. When we moved to 2 bedroom apartment, the small bedroom was very dark and every morning at 10:00, the water pump turns on (above the small bedroom)to replace the water which is very noisy. It shouldn't be a problem if you are an early riser. In the master bedroom, you can't open the wardrobe properly because it is blocked by a bedside table. The hotel bar and in room mini bar is over the top expensive.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great location, close to Kamala beach and quiet place. Comfortable place, clean and enough space with private pool and public pool also.

Location is superb . 2 min walk round the corner to Kamala Beach and shops . Small hotel but still had great service. Great buffet breakfast . Apartments. Very modern . We walked to Carnival so you don’t need to book transport if you are going you just walk . We preferred This beach to busy Karon .
