The lady at the front reception with glasses tries to help. She is the only person who communicated, albeit it minimally, with us. The gardens are nice, and the swimming pool looked good, although we didn't use it.

There are four stars beside this listing on Booking.com, a rating that is difficult to justify based on our stay. I have used Booking.com extensively and have never previously left a negative review.Staff: Service was consistently unwelcoming. Breakfast service from the lady who cooks and serves breakfast, in particular, lacked hospitality. Breakfast orders were taken curtly, and served without warmth, which was disappointing given Thailand’s reputation for hospitality. Location: The property is isolated and requires a vehicle. It is not truly beachfront. The “beach” consists of a very small stretch of sand (approximately 50 meters), and swimming is not possible. The only way to enjoy the sea is from the restaurant overlooking the water, which may suit some but should not be mistaken for a true beach experience.Facilities: This is an older property with limited amenities that do not align with a listing with four stars beside it. The room is large but requires a refresh.Breakfast: Very basic and unchanged each day, offering little variety or quality. As there is nothing nearby, we would have paid to have better breakfast.Value for Money: While relatively inexpensive for the Panwa area, the overall experience was not worth the cost of the stay.This was our final hotel stay during a five-week trip through Thailand, where every other property and staff exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, this stay fell short and left a disappointing final impression.

Comfort, decoration , arrangements, pool round the clock.Close to Phuket old town.40 mins away from patong.Halal food is easy to get online ,Grab etc

A bit strict policy to extend stay..They charge fullday if U need to stay even 1 minute after 1630 hrs

Nice pool and free kayaks to use at low tide. Located near a canal with evening daily market is you don't mind walking a bit. Breakfast included. Staff very nice, daily room cleaning, nice nail salon 15min walk away.

Our room doors did not seal when closed so mosquitos got in (we stuffed cracks to fix that), smoking allowed on pool deck not very nice for us non-smokers.

Good restaurant and very nice and polite waitresses.The view is breathtaking especially at the sunset, you can watch the sea drinking your beer and behind the beautiful tree there on the top of the hill you can see the big Buddha.

Breakfast could be better.

If you want something away from the bustle this is perfect to relax. Nice pool & friendly staff

We had an amazing stay at Baan Panwa. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place, so cozy and romantic, home away from home. We liked very much the indoor area and deco as much as the outdoor area and the area at the beach. And the stuff was very nice, since we forgot a medicine in the fridge they were kind to keep it until our next arrival to Phuket a month after.

Saa the receptionist and the chambermaid/breakfast cook were always friendly. We loved the peaceful seaside setting, free kayaking in the mangroves, free cycling, free breakfasts, free live music ?? next door every evening and the room has its own private garden at the back. Highly recommended ???

We loved the indoor outdoor living and the pool. The quiet location was great if you rent a scooter and there is a great beach only 8min away for swimming. Rawai and Kara/Karon are also a short trip away. The bed was also super comfortable.

Bathroom could have been a bit more clean.

Pleasant

The Pool is under constration and that since a long time and it need probably many weeks more. I booked the hotel because they advert a pool. So I was disapointed with the wrong information in their promotion material.

Lovely, peaceful, old fashioned place, great staff, clean, comfortable and plenty of hot water. Excellent restaurant on site.

No swimming pool in use (being refurbished) and you can’t swim in the sea here so there was little to do especially for the kids.Restaurant didn’t open till late morning so nowhere for breakfast.Wifi only worked in restaurant.

Facilities is bit old, pool requires of renovation, but the place is really beutifull. In restoran food is not really tasty.

The location is good, it is far from the city and party people, but yet close enough. Directly at the sea shore, and they have kayaks for free you can use when the tide is high. The hotel is in a beautiful park with a lot of animals and flowers. It is almost like living in a botanical garden.Breakfast is simple but good. The hotel never appears overcrowded, that's great and staff is really cute and attentive. Pool is great!

The standard rooms really need a makeover. The are run down, visibly. You cannot block out the light and the doors don't close well or You make a lot of noise or you let heat in. The superior rooms are just fine. The owners should invest in the standard rooms, which are not a good value for money at the moment.

Quite nice location, with a garden, pool and beachside. Not lot of toursist usually quite and you can relax. The beach bar location is perfect and you can reach beaches and the city from here easily by scooter.

The breakfast options are poor, staff not speaks english really well. the whole place looks like it was in much better condition before, but it seems that they are not really taking care of the garden, buildings and the whole location.
