Villa Sonata Phuket

The kitchen, the food it was amazing, and the chef were amazing also .

Everything, location , receptionist, cleaning, bed mattress, and the kitchen close to early , and one of the staff in the reception she was so rude in everything.

The villa is located on top of a highland, quite isolated with no people nearby, which can feel a bit creepy at night. T

Its very quite,private and the property is greenery for refreshmentt

I didn’t like at the being while we were about to check in as we arrived two hours earlier and also had requested for early check in and they tried to charge us extra even the room was already ready.And the breakfast is very same

Rooms were big and was nice

Breakfast service was not good. Washroom service needed. Language barrier. The pool was broken.

There was no option for vegetarian food , very very less options or nothing

Breakfast , the staff could be more helpful to understand what things being required , language problem was there

Room full of cannabis smell, staff is not friendly and couldn't communicate in English, location is far from town.

anything you need you need to get out of room and go to reception for example water. no connection between reception and room are zero. they gave WhatsApp number if we need anything to ping. but no response if you call or message so you have to walk out of villa nd go pick up water.

The villa is really nice and perfect for a vacation if you want to unwind at home and enjoy the pool

The place isn’t clean at all specially the washrooms everything is stained and it had a horrible smell to it

The villa is very nice and clean and the place is so quiet you don’t hear any noise its only sound of nature.

-There was a smell coming from the toilet, and the fan is not working.-It is far from shops and restaurants, so if you’re planning to stay here you better rent a bike.

It’s a best place ever and I really like if for my honeymoon It’s first time to visit Thailand but I’ll definitely try it next year and it will be in the same villa

Nice villa in a very quiet environment. Really good air conditioning and friendly staff.

The place was nice, the bed was very comfortable and the furniture there gave a nice vibe to it. it was a duplex villa and worth for 74$. the toilet was big and the tv had a lot of channels.

the water drainage in the toilet and kitchen sink sucked big time. there were somebodies clothes in the closet also, shows the staff does not check the villas thoroughly after people checkout and others checkin (or it was a staffs?) . the restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner. room service is not provided. the seating area near the pool wasnt covered so we couldnt really use it as it was raining.

The check-in was quick and the receptionist welcoming.

Well, the villas are nothing like in the pictures. I mean, it looks like those picture were taken 5 years ago and the premises need a little refresh. I know it was rainy season but the villa had more of a gloomy feel than bright as the picture.

It was a wonderful villa, and the pool was amazing. It was very easy to access and had amazing privacy. The staff were all so amazing and kind.

The size of the room, and especially the shower area. These were big areas. The living room area was also a great size, nice couch and dining area. The WiFi was also acceptable and allowed us to stay connected.The room also has a good size fridge that stays on even when out of the room so food doesn’t go bad. There is also a microwave for warming food and a sink to put dirty dishes.

The mattress was so old and thin, we practically were sleeping on springs.There isn’t a central switch to put out the lights when getting to bed, and hence one has to walk around to different switches on two levels. The switch by the bed only controlled one set of led lights above the bed.The pool was dirty, we didn’t even try it once.The wardrobes interior is coming apart, and the bathroom door wasn’t lockable.The facility is terribly understaffed which impacts timely issue resolution. They are also very mean with resources, and we only got one extra bottle of water, and a torn towel which looked like it was big and they cut it into two pieces. In the sink area, no utilities were provided to wash dishes which a little inconveniencing as they only provided one pair of dishes at any one point.The AC in the room was difficult to use as it always showed different settings. At best, it was either too cold, or too hot.The shower never gave hot water even once, despite our best efforts. I told the lady at the reception on the second day and they said they would send someone. This never happened.The breakfast is a ripoff! The American breakfast served there is not well done, and not once did I see anyone clear their plate. Most people would just touch it and leave it. Options for vegetarians should be added as they are alien at the place.Generally, we were so disappointed with the space, we changed our plane tickets (at a huge fee) to leave four days earlier and cut our losses (as there are no refunds).

The only good thing was the location for the activities.

It was very disgusting the whole villa smelled like sewage and the whole place wasn't clean enough for us.

Spacious room. Private pool. Comfortable bed. Huge shower room. Value for money.

Inconvenient location if you don’t drive. No shops in the nearby walkable distance.

our first villa was very dirty. we told reception and they swapped us immediately. our second villa wasn’t 100% clean, but was better so we stayed there. the shower was unfortunately broken which we didn’t realise until the following day. they came and fixed the day after we told them. our water also stopped working. also fixed but the same day. lastly the ceiling needed touching up a bit. it was stained from where water had leaked from the bathroom and come through.
