The beach is terrible. The hotel reception charge me ?--- at night when I got there two days later in the morning when I went to leave they said they do not charge deposit so I was scammed out of 1000 Bhat Beware.

This resort is rustic and beautiful all at the same time. The pool and restaurant are great and loved the outdoor shower in our room. The staff incredible and very friendly and accommodating. I took the morning yoga class and the class was amazing loved every minute of it. Dao the yoga instructor was wonderful and I enjoyed meeting and talking with her after class. I will definitely be back next year.

The hairdryer was broken

The staff were friendly and helpful, pool was good, food good value and quality.

Beach looked good but wasn’t, no children’s menu in restaurant. Very poor TV choice and irritating Wi-Fi reception.

Beach not user / swim friendly as a bit murky and very low tides.

Lovely environment and great room. Very poolside stay with great service but beach is more beautiful to look at but too polluted to really swim in. Bit spoilt coming from Australia so preferred Kata for snorkeling which was only 15mins away by bolt and 300-350 baht and even though busy could instantly see fish at south end.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Location is ok, a little way out from restaurants and bars. Its right by the beach, just a shame that in low tide , the sea is nowhere to be seen. In high tide, because of the constant movement of the water, sea is muddy. Pool and restaurant area look nice. A lot of cats around which didn't bother me, I like animals but my husband is allergic. Just something to keep in mind.room itself was spacious and nice, however we were disappointed with other aspects... Which I will write about in "what I didn't like".

We booked this room based on a description on their own website, it said all beachfront suites have a "bali bath" and bali style bathroom, no mention room may be equipped with bath OR shower. Well, we just had some old shower with limited light. Nothing bali style going here. We were advised that they have no clue why this is mentioned on the website, they cannot provide a room with a hot tub as its taken- only 1 out of 3 beachfront suites have a hot tub. We were offered to move for 1 night in few days but then we will have to move back again after.Considering Thai prices for similar locations, this was not worth the money. If we had the room we expected, it would have been ok even though a little expensive. If you prepared to spend a lot of money and stay in the middle room with just an old shower, then go for it, otherwise I don't recommend spending all that money for possibility of getting this room.

Beach front location. Veranda

There was not enough space in the bedroom, and the bathroom was overly large. As a consequence there was very little cupboard space to put clothes. Therefore we ended up with open suitcases cluttering both the bedroom & bathroom.The sea was very unpleasant (muddy!) & uninviting. Very disappointing considering the excellent veranda we had, & a wonderful vista across the bay.

the location was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.

There were a few maintenance issues, like the shower and the shutters in the bathroom required fixing.

Can’t swim by the hotel, very very off location (not a problem itself, but not too great of a area to hang out in), room we got was really not up to standard and was a bit depressing with not real shower, back end of the hotel meaning our view was over the parking lot, but we only had 2 nights so didn’t bother to question it (presume whole hotel was like that), kind of regret that in retrospect as it negatively impacted a large part of our trip

Bfast was nice..Beach was clean..Pool was clean...

One thing we liked the best- how friendly is the staff. ?? They did amazing job! Admins, room maintenance, gardener and restaurant staff - they all deserve a 5 stars review! Because thanks to them, we enjoyed our vacation.Special thanks to restaurant waiter Bon! And also admin lady (sorry forgot her name). They were all very helpful with our requests and their smiles just made our days.:)

We think room 21 needs renovation. Maybe ditch the old furniture and see why does the room have so strong moldy smell.

Prices for food and drinks are too high. People reserve pool chairs at 7 am. in the morning and block other people. There are lots of mosquitoes in the room.

We had such a good time here. Our objective for Phuket was to enjoy and kind of do nothing, coming from a few days of being very active. We didn't end up doing nothing because there was just so much to offer. The spa organized for us a Muay Thai class and a massage, both which were very much value for money. The food at the hotel was great. Lots of choice for breakfast.

Beautiful beach side breakfast. Staff were very friendly sky if not a little slow but we could forgive that. Room was lush. Comfy. Airy. Clean air conditioning unit.

Steep hill in and out of the property to reach the front entrance which was a bit of a trial in the heat. The main road has no pavements so we still have a little PTSD from the amount of traffic and motorbikes that near ran us down. You literally had to walk along the main road and take your life into your hands to go anywhere. Toilets were easily blocked. Outdated plumbing. There were very few sunbeds around the pool for the amount of people staying. The drinks were good. The food was pricey but it was a health and wellness place so it was very healthy dishes that were available. Very tasty but pricey.

The beachfront views were stunning. The food was lovely.

The lack of orientation upon arrival. The slowness of the wait staff at meals. The lack of fresh towels daily. We had towels go missing. Location was in the middle of nowhere. Very difficult to get anywhere without paying for taxis and the staff did not have any advice for us.

Our stay at Friendship Beach Resort was absolutely perfect. The place looks just like the photos—if not better! The beach bungalow we stayed in was incredibly comfortable and offered just the right amount of privacy.The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food at the resort’s restaurant was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. We’ll definitely be back!
