Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa

The location is very good, being right on the beach and close to many restaurant and shops. I also like having a good restaurant, spa and multiple pools to go in during the day. The free breakfast was delicious. Internet was free.

I booked a room with "sweeping views of the sea" but while the room was sea facing there were two pools and many palms trees between me and the sea. As such the actual view of the sea from my room was quite minimal.

The property is within close proximity to the airport 30 minutes away. The facility is traditional and has nice grounds. It is a less luxurious interior but for the price point it is perfect. The grounds were immaculately landscaped and very clean overall. I like that the towels and bedding all seemed really new even though it is an older hotel. Also the hotel is right in the beach.

I find it very dark interior because of the older traditional style.

Our second visit and even better than the first! The staff were just so nice and helpful. Always going out of their way to help you. We had three rooms booked and when one rook connected with another family that was loud, they quickly moved us to an upgraded room. Rooms were spotless and nice cold AC. We had two rooms that were pool access. Breakfast was large and good selection. We were always able to find a chair by the pool. Good diversity of guests from all over the world, so it was a nice environment. We plan to come back next year for sure!! We stayed in three different areas during our time in Phuket and this was our favorite hotel of all three.

Nothing. Everything was great

The area is quite secluded, the restaurant is wonderfully situated, our children had their own room which was a bonus. Breakfast is absolutely amazing with one of the best spreads I have seen.

The kids club is erratic in timing and often there was nobody present inside with little to do, as promised on the timetable. The pillows are not hotel standard, they feel like they are falling apart inside.

Good location and nice pool. Lots of good restaurants and stores nearby.

No elevator. A bit tired of a resort but overall good value and kind staff. Beds are not up to par and very thin.

Property is well maintained, in a quieter part of Phuket but great location for beach, bars and food. Very easy to get transport if you want to go anywhere. Amazing sunsets, breakfast buffet and good vibes and atmosphere all around.

People that didnt obey the no smoking policy & didnt stick to the smoking areas.

Nothing really

An amazing location just steps from the beach. Lots of great restaurants on the beach as well as on the street behind the resort. Fantastic breakfast and loads of sunbeds for lazing near the pool or beach. We were so lucky they upgraded us to a bungalow so we had loads of space and our own little piece of paradise.

The property is right next to the beach and in walking distance of a good selection of bars and restaurants. Our rooms were very big, clean, and comfortable. The 2 pools are nice and there are more than enough sun loungers both at the pools and along the beach front. The spa facilities were excellent value for money and the food at the restaurants was varied and nice. We found all the staff to be helpful and friendly.

The location is the best. Rooms were large and clean. Staff fantastic. The breakfast buffet was so good, plenty of variety and great temperature for hot food. Organised taxi service a bonus. Everything was top notch. Highly recommend this Hotel.

The pillow. Great if you like high hard, not so good if you prefer a softer lower pillow.

It's a beach resort , with all the amenities needed to relax .We used this hotel for 3 days after our busy week of touring Phuket and it was great. Breakfast was plentiful and a good range of items.The 2 swimming pools were very clean , but people reserve the pool chairs really early and it's difficult to get a lounger with all the towel marking .

The beach location was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.

They advise that towels are not to be placed to reserve sunbeds before 9.30am or they will be removed, shame they didn't enforce their own rule here. Also, the main restaurant did not offer anything else than a buffet menu at 800 Baht per adult. This is a high cost compared to other restaurants in the area where you can eat for 2 and have a couple of drinks for 800 Baht total.

This property is in a great location on the beach front with direct beach access. The multiple pools meant that it never felt crowded even though it is quite large. The gardens are well maintained and the environment is kept very clean.

Unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable. I stayed 5 nights and I couldn’t stay a 6th. The king size bed was two twin beds pushed together with a mattress topper, which is usually fine, but both twin beds had no springs left in the mattresses so it dipped down on both sides, with a hard spine where the edges of them met under the mattress topper. I usually enjoy the firm beds in Asia, but these old sagging mattresses left me with considerable back pain. Maybe I was unlucky, but I would hesitate to return because of this.

The location of this hotel is excellent - out the front door and into a street with a 711, numerous restaurants, shops and other points of interest. The two swimming pools are excellent. The beach is a few steps away where there are numerous restaurants. The rooms are not spectacular but are quite adequate. The staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfasts are very good with many choices. The coffee is superb.

The entertainment was minimal. The restaurants in the evening were poorly supported and therefore lacking in atmosphere.
