Surin Sunset Hotel

My room was on the top floors and it was a corner room so it has two windows with a pretty good view. The staff always helped me with organizing transfers, bike or car.

Since the windows faced the street, there was constant road noise. But earplugs solved this problem.

Bad Wifi in the room, bad wifi for the TV were the big ones

The shuttle will cost you A LOT

They couldn't find our reservations when we arrived. The room Wi-Fi was intermittent and there was none on the balcony. The ocean view was non-existent and we asked for a shuttle to the airport in the morning and when we got there they asked for 700 Thai baht which was never mentioned or listed anywhere.

Clean place. Good location close to the beach in a calm area.

The GPS location just needs to be updated for specific applications for a smooth transition from current location to Hotel. The Grab app doesn’t recognize the published address on the front page. The hotel was like a budget option, which was expected, and it matched the price we paid. We booked a family room and from the pictures it looked like it included a full kitchen, but in reality we only had a water boiler, fridge, and microwave. Just a heads-up that not all rooms come with a full kitchen, so it’s worth double-checking before booking.The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the location was quite good—only about a 10-minute walk to Surin Beach. The beach in this area is much cleaner and quieter compared to Patong, which we appreciated. I cant even say what I liked because I didn’t get to see the room. When we arrived, the receptionist just told us “no room available, full full, we send you other hotel” (We had a payed reservation for over a month). A car that was not even a taxi drove us to this random other hotel AM SURIN PLACE, it looked okay but the first assigned room had a NOT FUNCTIONING AC (which is unbearable to Phuket heat, it was 31 degrees in the room at night), after complaining a guy tried to “fix” it by pressing the buttons, and after 10 minutes accepted to change our room, a new one with twin bed instead of double (ok to have working AC), beautiful room but the smell was really bad and the shower was weaker than a beach shower.

Too close to the road and the facilities are old and not the same as the pictures shown

-Got a last minute booking when I needed an extra night accommodation near Surin Beach for one night-On the main street so close to cafes and restaurants. Can walk to the beach quickly

-wifi only worked for a few minutes -bed very uncomfortable -room not very clean (stained overlay thing on bed), hair in drains when I arrived, slug-like bugs on walls (I know these are common in Phuket, but usually housekeeping clears them out before a check in )

The town is small, if you fancy a night out perhaps go further into Phuket

Awesome hotel, I've stayed there for years whenever I've gone to Surin. They have the friendliest accommodating staff. It's a perfect place to stay in the most beautiful area in Phuket.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We are very pleased with our stay at the hotel, we lived here for a month, breakfast was not included, so I can’t say anything about it. But the room itself, the balcony, the location of the hotel are great. Friendly staff. We asked them for a desk and they provided it to us. We really like everything, thank you!

Clean, comfortable accommodation with an easy walk to the lovely Surin Beach.Lots of places to eat and drink by the beach watching the sunset.

The management, i booked the room in the hotel with private balcony, relatively modern.I paid for an upgrade. At the arrival they told me to go next door through dirty stairs at the back of next door restaurant, they did not apologise or explained, at the end of my stay they were askin (not in english :) if i paid. I paid through booking.com. it looked that they didn't want to pay for me to Madame restaurant. The management of the hotel, boss woman was very ilmpolite and ignoring

Great little hotel, staff couldn't be any more accommodating, rooms cleaned every day, will make you a breakfast even if you turn up 30 minutes after they close, very helpful with any queries you may have, would highly recommend if you are on a budget, better than many of the high end hotels there!

Not much. I arrived and there was no room. I had my booking and payment details and the hotel said they were full.Had to come back later and the same happened. The lady said it was my problem to get my money back from Booking.comAfter a lot of discussion and threatening with terrible reviews, they decided to give me a room. Definitely not worth the money I paid...
