Sukcheewa Residence Phuket

The overall experience was good. The hosts were good, listened and auctioned to almost all our questions/queries. The included breakfast was decent.

There was a distinct smell in the lobby area. A little far from Patong Beach which I realized more when I used to physically walk to Patong side every day.

Big Room, comfy bed and hot shower. Large fridge and free water every day. Lovely kind host and room super nice. TV has a lot of channels and some are in English. Opposite to a Tops daily. The cleaner lady was so lovely and so kind.Hot shower with good water pressure, have black out curtains but they do not buffer the street noise at all.

Room was doused in cigarette smoke, I tried my best to air it, so I bought a eucalyptus spray to try counter act the smell, but it was just too strong. All my belongings now smell of cigarette smoke This was every day and some days it was terrible, it came from each floors lobby. This was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. The noise from the traffic was horrible as the hotel is on the main road. n checking out they took a long time to check my room before releasing my deposit not sure why, as the hotel was not busy.

The girl at reception was very friendly and helpful, gave us plenty of advice and helped us book the islands tour, then went the extra mile to reschedule the tour and book the room for an extra night as we had a personal unforeseen issue. 2x free water bottles everyday, fridge, air conditioning, plenty of shops and services (laundry, motorbike rentals) nearby.

is a basic accommodation (don't expect luxury) but good value for the money

Love the room and the view of the the Garden and swimming pool belonging to the hotel next door. Got and upgraded room when I arrived.

Nothing except you can walk to patong beach in 20 minutes

Live Mosquitos everywhere when entering, dead mosquitos, holes in the towels, fridge had been unplugged and stunk of gone off meat, the pillows are like bricks and the beds rock hard, we ended up sleeping on tracksuit bottoms rolled up and a plane neck pillow. WiFi did not work, we were told it is being fixed but never seemed to work which is difficult when your English phone is struggling to work in Thailand. Sellotape is holding this place together, quite literally, see photos. We was supposed to stay for 6 nights but 1 night was too many and we were happy to pay for the 1st night and receive a refund for the rest due to the state of the place. We have been refused a refund. We booked another hotel as we couldn’t wait to leave. After explaining and showing all of the pictures, they didn’t believe us. We were told ‘you’re clearly used to 5 stars’ which is insulting to say we are basically snobs. ‘You’ve clearly never been to Thailand’, we have stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip and all were CLEAN and as advertised, but not this one, they wanted to try to replace the issues but this should already be in place, we had already apparently been given an upgrade so I dread to think what the downgrade was for the original booking. The receptionist is also permanently high off weed. She’s nice until you complain, then you are insulted and made out to be the problem.I don’t usually write reviews but this one needed to be said and would hate for others to go through the same and waste their money especially if you expect a clean hotel room and what is advertised, even if it is basic.

5th Level Studio back of building: Comfortable, quiet, secure, lift access. Can walk to restaurants, shops, beach. Night food markets is a 5 minute walk.

On a main road, but apartment was back of building so you can’t hear the road noise.

The staff were very frinedly and attended to all my needs. Valerie is an angel. I know I will stay there again whenever Im back to Phuket.

The staff were very friendly and the location was great.

Very noisy because it was next to a very busy road especially in the night we could barely sleep. There was only one glass in the window which wasn't enough to keep the noise out.

All in all it was a good room in a good location for a good price! I would repeat the experience.

If you plan an evening in the room, you may find the lights too industrial.

Large room, comfortable bed, table and chairs, good curtains to make the room dark even during daytime, fridge in the room, fairly clean, no weird smells.

Rooms facing the main street are very noisy, you need earplugs for a good night rest.The furniture is past its heyday. A fresh coat of painting could increase the value of the room by a lot.All things considered, it was well worth it considering the low price.If the price was double, I would have rated it 5/10, but for what I paid, it's a solid 9/10.

The room and bed had very strange bad smell. Even after few days we could feel it.

Location is perfect near for everything.

Staff is too much relax.one off room was nice but i can not say for the kids room same. But value of money .
