Anchan Boutique Hotel, Phuket

Very cool looking hotel just on the fitness street of Chalong, surrounded by gyms, restaurants, shops and massage parlors. Rooms are unique and spacious, witch a kitchen zone a bit separate from the bedroom zone. Clean and comfortable. Two ACs making it possible to turn on the one that doesn't aim directly at you when sleeping. Great staff - always positive and helpful, and responded quickly when we had a request.

Could be a bit noisy at times, but mostly due to other people not respecting their surroundings. Pool area has a very small window of sun during the day - don't expect sunbathing.

The bed was very hard

Fantastic location, on fitness street and near many training facilities. Laundry facilities available. Coffee available at reception each morning.

Not serviced as reguarly as we would have liked. Most guests stay for longer but we were there for short term.

Great base for a training camp. Chilled vibes. Studios are very spacious and clean.

The pool does not get much sun in the afternoon.

Clean friendly had everything i needed, if i needed anything special I asked and they got it to me right away.Washer and drying facilities were also very helpful to have on site

The AC could have been a little more powerful. But I’m always complaining about being hot so that was more than likely just an issue for myself more than others

Great room and location. Had a kitchen and everything you need. Pool is a good size to do laps.

WiFi is OK, but not great.

Stayed just over a month and encountered 4 not-small cockroaches #roommatesKitchenette sink does not have hot water…so boil the kettle to re-clean anything previously used to capture cockroachesTVs are extremely dated and not much bigger than a computer monitor, haven’t changed since my first visit in 2017; really these rooms need 55” wall-mounted/elevated flat screens.

After 24hrs of being awake - building works by the neighbouring property. Within an hour, I went and told reception I was told they were full and if I wanted to move i need to pay the extra even through they had no other rooms. The works didn't stop I booked 4 nights and checked out early on the 3rd day knowing I would have to forfit the expense with no refund. I couldn't even enjoy the balcony because of works its was so loud, i didnt if complain about the guests dragging furniture of all hours of the night and loud guests at 4 am as that is expected. I said at least mention building works were being carried out, i wouldn't have booked. I told reception I was moving out this morning, they said I should have said something, I said I did within an hour of arriving - they said the receptionist was new. They wanted to move me to a neighbouring hotel not near the works. It was too late due to the noise and lack of sleep, within 2 hours of waking I booked a new hotel and transportation it was the best decision I have made, i had to totally change my plans as I planned to stay in chalong and moved to Rawai just wish I didn't wait the other nights in order to do so.

They didn’t have the bathroom window leading to outdoors where all the bugs could get in. That was a bonus.

The TV was outdated (not a smart TV, The wi fi was slow and inconsistent, there wasn’t a laundry basket in the room.

The apartment is small, but cozy and clean. Comfortable bed and has everything what you need - kitchen, cabinets, air conditioning, large pool in the yard. Balcony with a decent view. Near a lot of cafes, money exchange, fruits shop and 7 eleven

Great location for the gyms and the restaurant next door is my favorite for breakfast, lunch and coffee. Nice big pool and clean, comfortable rooms. We only had one night but wished we had spent our full week here. Rooms have very good AC and kitchenette.

Great bright room, with two aspect windows and good views. Excellent value.

An electrical outlet in the bathroom would have been useful.

Restaurant within 5 minute walk, can order to room. Good and affordable.

Location was really good, conveniently located next to restaurants and 7-11 , a 2 minutes walk away. Service was great as in they tried to help as much as they could. Really liked the w bedroom suite. Very comfortable for w or more people.

WiFi was a little unstable wavering between strong connections and weaker ones.
