Blu Monkey Hub and Hotel Phuket Town

The staff were super friendly and helpful - and the hotel is very well placed to the town centre.

The bath is on the outside of the room - so I didnt use it in the end.... but anyway

Location and value fr money n great breakfast

Nice central, safe location, you can walk through Phuket Old Town easily and catch a bus to the beaches. Breakfast is good, but had to bring my own plant-based milk with me. Room was clean and spacious.

The Balcony had a strange smell, probably from the river next to it, also a lot of mosquitoes were around because of that. The Air conditioning was a bit too loud for us.

Tucked off the main road, convenient to sightseeing of eclectic and exciting old town Phuket. Blu Monkey Hotel and Hub has amazing restaurants steps away, 2 banks , a 7-Eleven and more. A Fun playful design coworker area for cool travelers. I enjoyed The free coffee and tea and breakfast offerings are clean, clearly labeled, and delicious while monkeying around on my computer. Laundry available was helpful. Bathtub was a treat to sit in watching the view. Maps in large format display got me not only excited to bus around Phuket. They make everything easy for travelers. I’m visiting more of these hotels in my travels around Phuket , Ko Phi Phi, Krabi . I started in Bang Tao where the logo caught my attention and here I am extending stays all the way! Each one has its own special something.A Lovely pod of coworkers staff this hotel !! Best hotel culture!! Simple , chic , minimalist, functional, fun, playful, accessible, clean, quiet, and you can sleep on a comfy bed with awesome pillows with my USA Apple TV playing if I get smart TV room.

I’m excited for smart TV upgrades that allow my USA subscription service in all the rooms! It does get a bit sweaty in afternoon cowork area - fans help . Not really a complaint , needed to adjust myself.

Paul it’s great host! Bed are very comfortable, clean. And breakfast is delicious, a lot options.. western and southern cuisine. Drinks,cookies and bananas 24/7 available!Great place for vacation in Phuket town!

Just a few minutes walk from Old Town Phuket, the Blu Monkey was stylish, functional, and comfortable. I really liked the complimentary snacks downstairs and coworking spaces. Left too early for breakfast since we had to catch a flight, but I’m sure it was great. There was a small pool and washer/dryer available for use.

I am always happy to be back to the Blu Monkey Hotel and Hub. The best room selection is available and improvements are happening every time. Thanks for all of the provided conveniences. Breakfasts are including all is needed to have energy for the first part of the day.

The most of rooms have beds directed to the North that might affect sleeping of those who are sensitive to the side. However, a quick negotiation with a receptionist solved the problem.

Blu Monkey Hub & Hotel Phuket – Disappointing Stay

I booked for 4 days at this hotel, but it did not live up to expectations. From the moment you enter, there was a very unpleasant, strong musty smell close to mold or sewer water in the room. The pillows and mattress were also bad-smelling and damp, and the bed sheets were dirty to see, which put one in doubt about the overall cleanliness of the room.Mosquitoes were everywhere, even indoors and in the shared workspace, so it was hard to relax or focus on work. The balcony and pool area were next to what seemed to be a sewage pipe, so the smell outside was worse than inside.Breakfast was bland and not appealing at all, so we did not eat it.The only positive thing about the stay was the staff they were helpful, nice, and friendly.Despite all the nice co-working space and friendly staff, the lack of hygiene, the odors, and the mosquitoes problem actually affected the overall experience. I would not recommend staying here unless some major improvements are implemented.

Toilet is quite dirty and have some water leak out from the wall to the make the table get wet

Blu Monkey is exactly what I respected from the listing - nothing too fancy but really good essentials. The staff were lovely, especially Paul who assisted us a few times, and the property was well maintained, including daily room cleaning. The location was right outside the beautiful streets of Old Town, which was ideal, and there were lots of good restaurants within a 5-15 minute walk.

The co-working space was good but not always air conditioned, which made it hard to use on hot afternoons.

Comfy beds, nice restaurants around the hotel. I really liked that it's on more quiet area, so I didn't have to use earplugs to get good night's sleep. Breakfast was versatile and tasty.

Not a fault of the hotel itself at all, but mostly issue with booking.com. I had booking for two rooms. After some time my friend discovered she also had booking for two rooms in her account. As she didn't remember, if she made the booking or me, she cancelled one room from her booking and so did I. I hadn't transferred anything to her account, just entered her name. When we arrived it turned out, that we had only one room booked. Somehow my booking was automatically transferred to her account as well. So in the end my friend had to pay triple price for her room. So please be attentive next time you book multiple rooms.

Funky styling and decoration, great breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows, outdoor bath, nice pool and Paul at reception was awesome.Walking distance to restaurants and attractions.

The hotel is very new and modern.The breakfast has a good variety of different types of food.

The swimming pool is quite small for the size of the hotel.There is an electrical line next to the entrance of the hotel that buzzes and it doesn’t seem very secure to pass by next to it. It is very close to some of the hotel rooms.

Hotel is well designed and you can feel it the moment you enter the lobby. You can enjoy the pool, really clean. They offer banana, tea and coffee 7/24 which is really cute. Rooms are well designed and comfortable. You even have a balcony with a tub. Breakfast was really unexpected, there are flavours from every cuisine, all really delicious!

This is an amazing, modern hotel and everything about it exceeded my expectations. The staff were absolutely kind, especially Paul and genuinely help you if needed.The rooms were spotless, spacious and very modern. The location is good, right near the old town and a good drive away from patong beach. The breakfast is fabulous too.

Downstairs after breakfast there can be mosquitos flying around the area.
