Must Sea Hotel

The room was clean and modern and there was a pathway to the beach across the street.

The staff said to call the front desk at any hour if we needed anything, but when we asked for some extra linens, they would not accommodate.

The property is in a good location and has lots of things do to close by

The bathrooms were a little bare bones, and the beds were far to firm for me

The location , overlooking the night market. Walk out on the balcony and view the market , the price was excellent

The price was good and the location.

There are no elevators, the hotel offered either a room with no sunlight or a room on the 5th floor which I had to go by feet.

Location is great for the kata walking markets, close to the beach and shops

Very very loud area, bed was super uncomfortable, staff were slightly rude, hotel is also very hard to locate. Balcony doors were broken so they didn’t shut fully which messed with the air con. Very overpriced for what you get!

The construction noise, that was always started hours before the warned schedule, and the offering by the staff to solve the problem

The pools were really just 2 large jacuzzis , only one of which was working. OK as a plunge pool but no more. Rooftop bar not functioning. Decent walk to floors 4/5 with no lift.

Very Disappointing Stay This hotel stay was unfortunately quite disappointing, particularly for guests with mobility limitations. Here's a breakdown of the issues we encountered: * No Elevator: Our room was located on the 4th floor, and the hotel lacks an elevator. This presented a significant challenge for my wife who has difficulty climbing stairs. * Unhelpful Staff: When we politely requested a room change to a lower floor due to my wife's condition, the staff responded arrogantly, simply stating "this is what we have." When I asked for change of hotel ,we were informed of a strict no-refund policy, leaving us with no options and unable to switch hotels without incurring financial loss. This significantly hampered our travel plans as my wife couldn't comfortably navigate the stairs. * Inconsistent Housekeeping: Housekeeping services were unavailable in the evening, making it difficult to obtain basic amenities like additional water bottles. * Damaged Room: The wooden floor in our room was damaged, causing discomfort and even injuring my wife's foot. Additionally, the hotel did not provide slippers, which could have helped alleviate some of the discomfort.Overall, this hotel is not suitable for guests with mobility issues due to the lack of an elevator, unhelpful staff. Off course one staff called Ms Mink was an exception,was quite polite and helpful.Safety is also a major issue there is no emergency exit in case of fire.only one narrow staircase. I don’t know how authorities cleared this property.Recommendation: I would strongly advise potential guests to consider their mobility needs before booking this hotel.I would have got a 5 star hotel in India at this price but this was like a lodge in India.

No idea why this hotel is top rated on booking and 4/5 on Google. It's not as good as others with that rating. After an incident with checking in at 1am on the first night, with no one to check us in - we ended up in the wrong room and had to be moved the next day. We received no compensation for this mistake. We did ask for something as we thought it was fair and they said they would give us free breakfast the next day. We had a tour booked the next morning and breakfast only starts at 8 so we didn't get it.The top floor with pool, bar and seating is not in good condition, has bits of floor missing and is quite dangerous. The pool is also empty?There is absolutely no security so anyone can walk in off the street and walk around the halls - and that did happen!The bedrooms are not as pictured. Stuffy with a mouldy smell. Air conditioner is either freezing and on full fan or off. It's so loud, I had to wear earplugs. Minibar has pricing on it but no actual products in there so I don't know how you get a beer or coke. Construction from 8am for most of the day as well. Not mentioned before booking but mentioned in a message after booking confirmed.Its just an ok hotel, on the way to being bad then more run down it gets.

The location, it is in the food market

Noisy because of constructions.. noisy AC …smelly rooms with no window… TV doesn’t really work always, and no lift.. dont ever BOOK a room in the 4 or 5th floor .. and about the pool i dont even wanna talk about! The staff are friendly

Nice hotel in the centre of Kata. Location is perfect and close to everything. There are around 8 minutes walk to the Kata beach. The night food street market with great food is just by the hotel, but it might be a bit noisy because of that until 1 am. The fruit market with good prices is also nearby as well as grocery stores, tour operators, clothes market, pharmacies, massage salons, bus stops to the Old Phuket and the airport. You can also walk to the Karon beach, it is not far. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you. The room was big and comfortable but quite dated. It looked better on the pictures but still suitable for cozy stay. Just be ready that something can be broken or old which is okay for the price you pay. We had some issues with the warm water in the shower, it just didn't work. The staff was very nice trying to fix it. But it got broken again and again for several days until they eventually repaired it. This brought a bit of inconvenience to our stay as we spent 12 days there. Also the AC was noisy but we were so tired by the end of the day, so we didn't pay much attention to it. The view from the window is also different comparing to the pictures. It is supposed to be a mountain view, but a new building in front of the hotel was constructed recently and you no longer see the mountain. But we didn't spend much time in the room anyway, so it wasn't a problem for us. It was good to have breakfasts on the balcony regardless of the view. The room service was provided upon request. So, don't forget to place the label on the door if you need it. The hotel also provides beach towels for free which was very convenient. There is also a small swimming pool on the cozy terrace but we didn't use it. Overall, it is a nice place and worths the price.

a noisy aircondition and the sound of waterrun off in the bathroom (after using the shower)caused by the ongoing renovation noises it's a bit tricky to relax during the day (10 am to 4pm)
