    Pros +

    • Location, staff, food, big comfy rooms
    • The hotel was up the hill, at the pictures it showed on the beach, there was a shuttle but we thought to be near the sea, the hotel got a lot of stairs, not comfortable for people who are disabled.
    • The rooms were spacious, clean, matresses comfortable, staff super friendly, beach exectionally beautiful. Restaurant served nice food. We were here at the end of September, so there were few people and no cues/crowds. Definitely recommend this place!

    Cons -

    • A little pricey for Thailand
    • The rooms are great, big and comfortable, the breakfast was good, the stuff were very nice.
    • Very old furniture ,When we went to eat breakfast the tables were full and the waiters asked us to set with another family at the same table!!!The breakfast was limited

    The room was spacious

There's no place to go outside the resort and the area of entrance of the hotel is quite small so always congested with cars.. there's 4-5 staffs at reception but cannot handle all the guests promptly

My family and I stayed at Camp Panwa Hotel for five nights. The hotel and the rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some minor issues that we had were fixed right away. The breakfast was excellent; it was always fresh and varied. That restaurant on the property is also good, with a good variety. The beach is great, with a lot of shade, but the shore was a bit rocky—nothing that can't be fixed with proper water shoes. In the hotel's vicinity are good restaurants, massage places, a pharmacy, and a grocery store.

Amazing location and food was fantastic.

Tired and dated. Location is amazing and this property must have been epic in its prime but unfortunately that seems to be quite a while ago. We were offered an upgrade to a villa which we paid for but WiFi did not work and staff didn’t really care. After 24 hours travel and waking up at 2am, we cared about WiFi. No compensation or care at check out. Would never stay here again. A real pity as location and food were magnificent - everything else is a let down

The staff are super friendly, the hotel has everything we need and the food was wonderful. I had dinner several days and each day the food was delicious. Also, the staff at the restaurant are very professional and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Panwa Hotel! The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff at Café Andaman were incredibly friendly, respectful, and always attentive. We stayed in a Cape Suite with sea view it was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the view was simply breathtaking.A special thanks to ✨ANABELLA✨ at the reception she was so sweet, kind, and full of positive energy. Her warm and bubbly personality really added an extra touch to our experience. We truly wish all the reception staff were as welcoming and engaging as she is.The hotel also has its own jetty, and the beach is perfect for snorkeling, with clear waters, seacones, and even a swing right in the middle of the beach a lovely spot for relaxing or taking photos.Definitely going back!

    Great location, private beach

Difficulties in communicating with the staff as there were very few that spoke English or other international language. Thai food at the resorts restaurants was ok but I don’t recommend any of their restaurants: The thing that was particularly upsetting for me is that at the Bamboo bar restaurant on the beach they were not careful enough about handling food as I found a sharp piece of glass in my Tom yum and my wife found a piece of napkin in her stir fry chicken. Their other restaurant top of the reef it was a disaster: pretending to be like a European French wannabe restaurant, there wasn’t even one thing that was well prepared. They should stick to classic Asian cuisine that they can do so very well and pay attention. (I know it can happen to accidentally drop thing in the food you’re cooking but in my case the piece of plastic was relatively big ~1 cm, hard and sharp, being a soup the dish that I had I could easily have swallowed it risking significant injury)

Room was amazing with fabulous views. But it was a suite so it should be nice

Hotel is overcrowded to the point that there were days when you couldn’t get a table for breakfast. At that point the staff disappear so that they don’t have to deal with it. The greeting on arrival was awful and basically rude, the receptionist didn’t even look up. Most of all the staff are just miserable. There are no smiles and no enthusiasm whatsoever, it’s like they just don’t want to be there. This is not a 5 star hotel. It’s just about a passable 3 star

Fantastic hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Great facilities and well maintained. Restaurants and bars are great and highly recommended.

I don’t understand why this is considered a 5 star hotel. The staff is rude and the service is rubbish. The rooms are ol

The property is old and not a lot of space for piece and quiet

Everything! The breakfast spread was amazing, the restaurant, the private beach, stunning views, amazing pool.

Everything was amazing. I can’t fault it.

    1KritinaPosted on: 3-8-2025

The staff at Bamboo Bar went above and beyond. Sandy and Hazel especially - they really know how to look after their guests and the best was that they remember people's faces and names so that adds a personal touch to the stay. The beach is beautiful.

The resort is SO overpriced it's honestly ridiculous. As an example, a beer will cost you 45 baht outside. They were charging 220. All the food costs were excessively expensive. Because the resort is so big and feels so isolated it feels like you can't step out. We ordered grab food once because I refused to pay almost $35 AUD for pizza. For $35 AUD I was able to get 4 pizzas and a starter from grab food. The resort refused to let the delivery person enter with their car inside the resort so the person has to walk the entire driveway with the food which is a HIKE. The resort is beautiful when you first look at it but getting anywhere feels like you're hiking from one end to another. It's also so humid and they don't have enough facilities outside the rooms to keep it bearable. Their room keys also kept tripping. You would have to keep scanning a few times before the door would open. I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone and we were glad when our stay came to an end. Oh also, there are water sports you can do at the beach -- which I think is a private beach with the resort -- but the resort reception staff do not help in booking anything. If you can avoid using the wash and blow dry service at the resort - please do. I asked for curls for a wedding event. Let's say, that it was so bad, I had to go back and somehow straighten my hair so the curls would disappear. I also paid almost 800 baht for that. So yeah, money down the drain. Oh also, the food at the resort is very average. So not only are you paying steep prices but not getting food worth your money.

    Beautiful rooms and views.

The housekeeping could be improved. Also when you stay make sure you use the local currency because if you pay in your currency you pay a lot more than expected z

Breakfast was good- good choice and quality of food

Drinks were pricey compared to another hotel I stayed.

I had the pleasure of staying at Cape Panwa Hotel for three nights, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful location, top-notch services, and the well-appointed rooms. The hotel itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, providing a peaceful retreat while still being easily accessible to key attractions. However, the highlight of my stay was the incredible staff. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made my experience truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Ms. Nujmee at the reception, whose kindness and attentiveness made my stay even more enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly welcome. I highly recommend Cape Panwa Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Phuket. I will definitely be returning!
