U Sabai Living Hotel

The premises were always kept clean, and the hotel offered a wide variety of breakfast options. I would like to especially commend the tour services arranged within the hotel by Pui, as well as the kind and friendly assistance from the reception. Breakfast service by Amm and Su was warm and attentive, and taxis were also arranged with helpful support.

Location was acceptable. Nice pizza place near by.

Staff was rude, not helpful.

It had lovely staff and was so clean with nice balcony, I really recommend it especially after trying other places and realizing how good was it

Cleaning should be more efficient

This small, inexpensive hotel proved to be a perfect choice. Booking a one-night stay at the last minute for $31 for three adults was easy. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient to the Banzaan market, a nice mall, a Mauy Thai boxing ring, great restaurants, Bangla Walking Street, Patong Beach, and just for exploring the area. The staff provided amazing service, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was nice and clean, offering a comfortable space to relax. Everything about this hotel contributed to a positive experience. It offered great value and exceeded expectations for a budget-friendly stay. The staff were so nice and amazing ❤️ with recommendations. They also let us check in 2 hrs early at no charge. I had to check out of my other hotel at 12pm and a wait for a late flight at 11:40pm (23:40). I would definitely recommend this hotel for those seeking affordable and pleasant accommodations.

Many reviewers mentioned a manager/owner, Derek. I did not have the pleasure of meeting him, but there was a man sitting in the lobby on a computer for hours. He never acknowledged us nor said hello. when we were struggling to get out bags in but he never helped or moved. I assumed he was a guest but thought it weird he was in the lobby all day. The all women staff did help and wete delightful.

Unfortunately, the location is very bad and popular, and the reception staff's treatment is bad. The security deposit was stolen unjustly, as a glass cup was used to drink water. The hotel management was informed and they said there was no problem. Upon departure, 700 baht was deducted. Also, on the last day, 200 baht was requested for the taxi driver's account, but the reception staff in the evening refused to give me the amount, knowing that I requested to add the amount to the room account and she did not want to make a payment by visa and gave me the amount in cash. The date was 4/25/2025. Please hold the employee accountable because she is not suitable for the hotel and knows how to treat the customer with respect.

Unstable internet

I liked the location, near to Bangla Road, close to so many restaurants and bars, I found one of the nearby restaurant and becomes my favorite restaurant, you can access to local and street food + 7Eleven. You can have your drink in front of the hotel if you dont like crowd, very good place.

The city view room was terrible, a lot of noises, but they have changed the room for me and it was very comfortable at the end. So, I prefer mountain View, no nose, clean, and comfortable

For us it was a pitstop so we booked for 2 nights, Convenient location if you are looking to walk to places. Multiple Massage, tourist booths, money exchange, restaurants, the night food market, Bangla street and patong besch all in walking distance. Staff were friendly and spoke english

It is a very lively/loud area so if you are looking for a relaxing spot, or calmness would not be ideal. There was a weird smell in the lobby and communal areas of the hotel. To go outside the patong area we tried ordering taxi through bolt it was quite expensive but also difficult due to the very busy location they would end of cancelling or require you to go to certain pickup points which were difficult to find

The Staff was wonderful very helpful and attentive.This hotel is a good option if you have a busy itinerary or like the nightlife,party and beach life since its really close to bangla Rd

I've stayed at U Sabai a few times over the years as it is good value and the location is excellent - easy walking distance to the JungCeylon centre and Banzaan market, and Bangla and the beach are also within walking distance. The bed is huge (7 foot) and the shower is strong and hot - but see my other comments.

Unfortunately, on this occasion I was put in a sub-standard room - number 401. It smelt very damp and stale as soon as I walked in and the furniture was very worn. The balcony was tiny, with space for just one person. However, the worst thing was the fact that there was no water in the morning - I wanted a shower before checkout but, when I questioned reception at 11:15, I was told that it would be another hour, i.e. after the midday checkout. Luckily, I didn't have far to travel but, if I had a long journey to make or a plane to catch, then this would have been a total disaster. The rooms don't have a phone, but surely they could have printed a note and pushed it under everyone's door to warn them earlier?

Great hotel staff, they tried to help with everything. The location is in the heart of the action, close to the beach and shopping center. Comfortable sleeping. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Everything was perfect!

What a great find. Location is far enough out of the major hustle and bustle of Banglar road. Reasonably quiet at night. Air con worked great, bed was exceptionally comfy, shower was fab! The staff here are lovely and really helpful. There is a little restaurant that we had breakfast at which was also of a great standard.
