Location is the best. We took half board and they offered buffet for dinner and breakfast. Buffet was really good.

Private pool is not temperature controlled

One of the best hotels, amazing location and very nice, friendly and supportive staffs, breakfast was good but not great, we were there in their new year party, The party, the party programs, and the party foods were great and we enjoyed.

The staff was very kind and helpful.The breakfast was great with many options.The room snacks and beverages are free and on daily basis. The shuttle service between the hotel and kamala beach.The spa experience was great and I recommend it for everyone.

Although the location of the resort is on a high hill with great sea views , but it's relatively far from the town and services. It's better to rent a car for convenient transportation.

Amazing views, super friendly staff, and delicious buffet breakfast with everything you could want

The staff, especially Mr. Leo were outgoing and engaged in customer care. Mr. Leo always checked in on us during breakfast and when he saw us on the property. The pool was great and the rooms were quite large.

The fitness center needs more equipment. Also the bed was aBit hard for my liking.

Not recommended at all - we thought this would be good for our honeymoon but it was awful

Everything was fantastic…. The room was so clean and comfortable… the pool access was great and the view was breathtaking?.The hotel staff were all so nice…. They were able to organize our last minute tour to the islands. Breakfast was great.

The bed was large but not soft enough.The TV has no live programs.

Dramatic cliff views and infinity pools. Fun in-room bath tub and very friendly staff.

The property is showing age and overall didn’t feel up to the five star rating. The room needed a refresh. For example some of the bathroom replacement tiles were off color and looked cheap.

The hotel is fantastic, with stunning views and excellent breakfasts. I would especially like to mention Mr. Pak and the waitress Ning. They are wonderful people who always do their best to help. In fact, the entire staff went above and beyond from start to finish to make our stay unforgettable. I hope we will come back again.

Great location. On a cliff near Kamala beach. With privacy and beautiful views and sunsets. Very attentive staff. Loved the spa. The food both at breakfast and dinner was delicious.

The property was very calm and cosy.

The sound of people in the connected rooms, I was in room number 603 and the sound of room 601 was very clear to all of us.

We love the view and the breakfast. The staff was great and very warmth welcoming. The whole stay was just perfect! The kids loved the pool. Near to the Kamala night markets. Great local food. The plus point is, all food are halal in this resort.

This wasn’t just a beautiful hotel—it was a place filled with heart, warmth, and the kind of care that stays with you long after you leave.From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The ladies at reception were absolutely wonderful—so warm, kind, and genuinely sweet. We truly loved them, and we only wish there was a way we could repay their kindness. Every interaction with them was so special, and they made us feel right at home from day one.The staff, across the board, were exceptional. Everyone was so attentive and helpful, to the point where we found ourselves in awe more than once. Housekeeping was amazing—our room was always spotless and refreshed with such care. Every day, they left us cute cookies and a rose in our room, which felt like such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. On top of that, they decorated our bed and prepared a beautiful spa bath for us upon arrival. These little touches made the experience even more special and memorable. Even the drivers were incredible. Not only were they always punctual and polite, but they remembered our room number every time without us ever saying a word. It’s those little touches that made us feel truly cared for.There were so many moments of kindness during our stay, but one that really stood out happened one evening while we were playing pickleball. A staff member came running down from reception—not to ask us to quiet down, as we initially feared given the late hour—but simply to bring us cold bottles of water. She had seen us playing and, entirely unprompted, went out of her way to do something so thoughtful. It was a small gesture, but one that completely took us by surprise. We hadn’t asked, we hadn’t expected it—and that’s exactly what made it so touching. It was the kind of selfless act that captures the true spirit of Ayara Kamala.

If we had to mention one small drawback, it would be that we had booked a sea view, but unfortunately, our view was somewhat obstructed by the bushes, which was a bit disappointing. However, this didn’t detract from the overall incredible experience.

The rooms were exceptional and a beautiful view from the pool access rooms. We had a family 2 bedroom suite and was excellent.

Location a little too far from Kemala beach and nothing (shops or restaurants) within walking distance. However, the hotel offer a shuttle bus which is every 2 hours from 11am to 7pm and 10 past the hour collection aligned from Kemala beach return. Outside the 2 hour shuttle bus a small 150Bht fee is acceptable. The facilities at extremely limited as there is a single restaurant for dinner and no real bar seating area to relax if not eating during the evening. During the day the bar/ restaurant by the main pool is OK but no areas to relax in air con if not your room. Spa is OK but expensive for Thailand.Main issue is lack of bar/ relax area in the evenings as the restaurant is very quiet and not designed for a drink only. Private beach not accessible during stay as escalator broken and no facilities at the beach as they take away in rainy season from April-November.
