Family friendly, very good location, comfortable room, good facilities

Great location, right across from the beach. Spacious rooms with beautiful bathrooms. Great place to take your family - buffet was excellent and the waterslides are perfect for kids of all ages. The travel desk was so helpful assisting us with setting up day trips. Highly recommend!

We had a very good stay at this hotel. Rooms are big and facilities are children-oriented. The beach in itself is fantastic if you're looking for powder sand and clear waters. Breakfast is good (not excellent). Tour operator employees are great. Good location with multiple restaurants and shops nearby.

You need to cross a small creek to get to the beach - feels off putting as the water is dirty. Workers do their best to make sand bridges & co, so it is manageable. Water activities on the beach are slightly annoying as they interfere with bathing and dont seem to have proper designated areas. Be mindful that this is not a 5 star hotel (as we believed when booking). Max 4 stars.

The location is relatively good — right on Karon promenade and very close to the beach.The staff was friendly, polite, and willing to help.

The hotel is not worth the price at all. We paid almost €500 per night, which is completely unjustified.The property is very small, with a tiny pool area squeezed between buildings, making it noisy and uncomfortable. There is no feeling of space or relaxation.The air conditioning is extremely loud and at the same time ineffective, which made sleeping unpleasant.The hotel layout is inconvenient — it is stretched in a long strip, so walking from the room to the reception takes time and goes through unattractive back areas along fences and service zones.The breakfasts were very poor: almost no fruits, low-quality bread, and many heavy dishes like pork and ribs that make no sense for breakfast. There is no clear breakfast concept.Overall, the hotel infrastructure and comfort level are far below expectations.

Mostly everything, the staff are very kind and nice. Kids loved the swimming pool with the slides, there’s also kids club where they can play if they’re bored from playing in the water, Karon beach is just across the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as massage places and groceries.

Wish they had halal options in breakfast but nothing to worry about we still enjoyed the breakfast during our stay with other options.

Location of the hotel is pretty good, just opposite the beach with 2 min walk, good breakfast, spacious room for a family of 3 with balcony. Also provided water refill, teabags, umbrellas, towels for beach already provided to the room, no need to go and take them from the pool. Near hotel, you can find good exchange kiosk, tours shop with laundry service and many cafes and restaurants plus 7/11, which is very convenient, this hotel has prime location in comparison with other hotels in Karon. Apart from this, hotel also provides free shuttle to/back to JungCeylon so no need to spend money for taxis to go for shopping. Also i liked that hotel has whatsapp communication via which you can speak to hotel staff and ask for help or book for shuttle or request for housekeeping. Customer manager Chanida and the reception team on whatsapp were very helpful and always replied within short time, any request was handled well by the Emerald team.

I got sick from the on-site food , didn’t happen anywhere else in Thailand. The staff was great, made me rice, eggs, toast, etc. without making me pay. My husband reacted to a food ingredient for the first time in his life.

Friendship of the staff, new facilities, kids areas

Best place for family with kids to stay at!!! Resort has a Kids Club - Mr. Dave and his team are always ready with different engaging classes for kids. The breakfast buffet was fine and had nice choices. Good selection of juices and pastry. Good for family and kids. The food menu is also diverse - my kid Pranav enjoyed the Strawberry pancake and the chef's good pad thai. Ms. Renee served us really well and was courteous with our food requests at the restaurant. The pool is amazing for kids and adults alike. The buggy service to room and back was another fun aspect of the resort. Thank you guys - from Pranav and family, Singapore.

The resort doesnt have 24 hour in room dining, so be prepared for any late snack after 10pm.

Nice hotel mainly because of the location — the beach is beautiful! The pool wasn’t great for me, but kids would probably love it, so it’s more of a family-friendly place. The room was a little small compared to other hotels, but honestly, you’ll be outside most of the time enjoying the amazing views, the beach, and the pool.”

Big rooms for families and splash slides for kids.

Huge hotel that built as one long train. If your room at the end of "train" it is a long journey and annoying get to the beach.In the morning the smell of food is spread over all hotel and very not nice.The rooms not so clean also after cleaning service, especially the floor.Slides are dangerous, my son injured, so after he didn't want to slide anymore.No swimpools for adualts very disappointed.Wont came back, not worth the high price that we paid.

Every thing. We loved the room was very big, and it was very clean. Also, breakfast was pretty nice with many options. My kids loved the water park & enjoy it. The staff was amazing & give me late check out to 15:00 PM really appreciated

Swimming pool are nice, breakfast is also good especially if you like thai food, staff are super helpful and nice, beach is a cross the street, and the hotel is located in well serviced streets but also not crowded.

I wish they renovate the games in the lobby and make it more inviting.
