Kata Sea Breeze Resort (SHA Plus)

The room was very large with a great balcony overlooking one of the pools.There were a variety of pools to choose from, all with seating options.The breakfast buffet offered a great selection and was plentiful.

Great location. Helpful friendly staff. Great rooms. Requested interconnecting rooms or rooms together and we got inter-connecting.

We had a garden room which meant a few steps to the pool, very convenient. Nice hotel overall.

Breakfast was poor. Hotel was full of very unfriendly guests but that is Phuket in general. Wouldnt recommend Phuket as whole. Go to Krabi instead.

On arrival we were upgraded for free to a room which walked out into the pool. There was lots going on and the location was great.The bed was also really comfortable and we were provided with beach towels to use at our convenience.

The resort was fantastic and the room was really nice, staff was friendly

We had 2 single beds and a roll out bed for my son (16yrs) old, the beds were not comfortable and for the price we paid we would have liked a Queen and a single bed form y son

Breakfast was not cooked fully or burnt , didn't get a refund.Also they accused us of stealing slippers which were in the drawer where they left it as we didn't use it , after telling them , then they double checked and found it . No apologies

Great location. Great having pool access straight from the room. Poolside bar.

King bed was just two singles pushed together, so the middle was not comfortable.

I liked the location. I loved how we received glass bottle water.

My room was overlooking the entrance and was very noises with buses coming and going.

Very old needs upgrading desperately, we had a pool access room which was disappointing.Breakfast was awful

The location is excellent! Kata is a good please for family stay. Good price, normal clean, have so many swimming pools which is nice for kids to play around! Only 10 mins walk from the nice Kata Beach.

It is a little bit old, but honestly value for money is good. First week we had a nice cleaning lady and she would clean the room in early morning. The second week last was different and we always had to ask the lady to clean the room. The communication was difficult.

Everything. It was close to the beach (walking distance, but the hotel does offer a shuttle service), close to markets, the amenities were exceptional and breakfast had a large variety (different meals daily). The staff were also amazing and very accommodating.

Staff were exceptional...friendly and helpful. Pools were clean and gardens great. 10+++

Pools close early..

We stayed in the pool access room which was lovely. Nice beds and comfy pillows. Location is great, heaps of bars, restaurants, shops, markets around. About 6 min walk to the beach. Pools were nice and clean. Cocktail pool bar was nice.

Resort is looking a little tired, flaking paint and cracks in concrete. Bathroom grout was not clean at all. For a big resort the breakfast was woeful. It is not an American buffet style breakfast at all. Not once did we see hash browns or bacon nor an egg or omelette station. Eggs were sitting under a heat lamp but were always cold. No options for vegan, gluten free or milk alternatives. If you like ham (spam) sitting in hot water then this is the buffet for you! 2 types of cereal. A few pasties. Even the Thai breakfast options were average. Most of the front desk staff had limited English. We probably would not stay again.

The location

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at kata sea breeze. Not only was the staff unhelpful, but their policies regarding lost keys are exorbitant and unreasonable. After my room key came off their flimsy key ring, they had the audacity to charge me a staggering 1,500 bhat for just a replacement key that cost them 495 bhat (i goggled the product code) I had all the key ring. The lack of empathy and understanding from the management is astounding. The hotel is very dated The shower is terrible, going from boiling hot to freezing cold every few seconds. It has a 80% occupancy of Russians. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being taken advantage of.

The breakfast was and sufficient and adequate. However, the grounds and pool areas were beautiful to walk around and relax in. The staff were very happy and very helpful. It made our stay very pleasant. Great hotel as it was well suited to couples or families of different ages. Thank you.

The breakfast could have a wider variety, however, the food was tasty and the breakfast venue was delightful as we enjoyed the pool area as we ate.
