Baan Karonburi Resort

Location

Internet signal, very weak in the room, could not work with computer

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Recommend really great places to eat. The rooms ac compressor wasn't working and they tried to fix immediately and we were able to switch rooms with no issues.

Would have appreciated if the pool was open later. The path had some uneven steps while walking.

Nice pool. Easy walk to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Nothing. The room sucked. They were thieves. The staff was rude and disrespectful.

Even though I had a confirmed reservation which I proved to then, they v refused to honor it. They tried to charge need 50% more. Even when I showed then I could still book the room over the internet, they said they would not honor that price.

Great location (right in front of the Karon beach), amazing pool, excellent rooms and awesome breakfast. All these things were more than what I expected.

Gym needs some updates, staff need to be little more cheerful.

Right across to the beach, value for money

Breakfast could be improved but it is totally fine

Room was ok, also balcony, no direct sun. Good breakfast, specially fruits. Coffee needed some configuration.Double towels in the room, wash+pool.Pool area also nice, but very noisy (different machines around, but that's probably everywhere) and no cover from sun. Few chairs, you have to "reserve" it very early I guess. But beach is 100m, don't waste your time in pool.

One thing disturbed me. It is very moist and during our 8 night stay they never changed the sheets :)Internet was pretty poor. Use some personal 5G or something.

Nice room, nice swimming pool good breakfast, friendly staff , helpful too. Very good cleaning lady who cared

Not much, it was very central direct on the beach

There is much to like about this hotel. It is well located and has an older style with good facilities. The staff were helpful and the rooms were lovely.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but the amount of rubbish on the beach is a real shame and highlights the problem of plastic and micro plastics.

room upgrade was so nice of them

breakfast was ok a bit repetitive but still good

the breakfast was ok but the same each day, but overall, it was good. we got upgraded to larger rooms when we checked in the interlocking rooms were great

Great location across the road from the brach, friendly staff, great pools. Fantastic breakfast buffet and lots of shops around

It was great. If I had to nitpick for something it would be no fresh milk and no conditioner in shower. Private pool rooms hard to get into pools from your balcony as large step down. As I said really struggling to find fault

Location was perfect

Bed was very hard; shower was a little gross; pool water looked a little cloudy

Convenient to beach and town access. Staff very friendly and hospitable.

Clean nice location warm welcome

The pool is clean and huge

the staff were wonderful. loved the breakfast and pool bar

no loo near the pool

Breakfast fabulous and rooms pool and resort exceptionally clean :)

Didn't know about pool bar happy hour until we enquired and then half of the cocktails were not available.Restaurant at the front of the hotel was appalling !

The location was great! Nice and quiet but not too far from places to get a grab. The places around to eat were really nice and right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.

Swimming pool area was great! Enough loungers and the sitting area in the pool was fun. Very central location to Karon beach.

The bathroom had a layer of grime on the walls of the shower. Had to ask twice before it was cleaned properly. I think the rooms in the older building need a really good deep clean and lock of paint.

Beach was just across the road and quite comfortable rooms and services.

A bit dated
