The Vijitt Resort Phuket

Clean, quiet resort with attentive staff. Beautiful sea views and nice villas.

Realistically this resort is 3.5-4 stars out of 5. It is starting to show it's age and could use some renovation dollars.

- I like how quiet and peaceful the place is. Location is a perfect escape.- The room is spacious and comfortable with reasonable price. - Quick response of lobby, bulky, restaurant services- A welcome back complimentary (wine and cute messages)

1) The staff. The attitude. Not much professionalism concerning service and details. - lacks of clear information delivery (check in day)- treated unfairly between Thai and foreign (I’m Thai), low sense of caring/ message delivery (at the restaurant)- bad attitude (at the lobby on check out day)Overall 2.5/52) Food- salty - lots of flies- Sunny side up almost cooked, pancake almost burnt etc. 3) Renovation timeIt’s understood that during low season, renovations are normally be done. But during breakfast which is the only 3-4 hrs in a peaceful morning, is it necessary to fix a roof at the restaurant? Making noises and no staff seemed to care.

Location is far away. From most tourist attractions. Breakfast was not at all good

The breakfast was awesome. It was right by the ocean and the pools were great. The villa was clean and staff was helpful and nice.

The location was a bit farther from the main attractions so you will need to use Grab taxi to get to places.

The Vijitt Resort Phuket features a large, multi-tiered infinity-edge pool. The beach is quiet, vendor-free, and ideal for wading and sunsets. Breakfast is fresh and delicious

Breakfast is okay, but it's always the same and lacks a variety of sweet options (croissants, pain au chocolat, etc.). The fruit selection is also nearly the same every day.The sea-view pool is very beautiful. The staff is excellent—super helpful and always smiling. It was a pleasure being served by all of them.

The seawater is not clear because the seabed is muddy. There is no beach, and it's nearly impossible to swim in the sea as the water recedes daily, dropping by a couple of meters—leaving behind a one-kilometer stretch of mud instead of water. Don’t go there for the sea, as you’ll be disappointed.There is no sound or thermal insulation in the rooms, so you’re forced to keep the air conditioning on full blast all day and night. This affects sleep quality due to the noise from the AC unit and the outdoor pool pump.Moreover, the sliding balcony door has a gap of about two centimeters at the top and sides, which constantly lets mosquitoes into the room.

Really awesome location and room (beachfront villa is stunning) with lots of peace and quiet. Also, cocktail drinks are fairly decent which is very very very hard to come by in the whole of Phuket.

The lack of attention to customer service has been quite stark for a 5 star hotel. The staff is decent and tries to be helpful, but they lack proactivity to look after customers that most 5 star establishments do as a best practice (for example, luggage left unattended and untagged by the buggy service and then at the check out not being asked if we have any luggage to be looked after; another instance is with the restaurant service where the staff have close to zero understanding of food allergies and there’s no record that a guest would have to be looked after in this instance even though it was mentioned at multiple points during and after the booking process).

Gorgeous hotel, with lovely spacious rooms and nice touches! Fantastic swimming pool and great breakfast options. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again.

Property was visually beautiful. Food was very below average. Breakfast spread was not good at all. The rooms had very very low light. We have been to Phuket multiple times and stayed in other properties too.

Well laid out Resort although a bit hilly but there is a shuttle service if you need the shuttle. and big rooms.....Restaurant also has a big selection of food.

Beautiful setting waking up to a sea view every morning and kite surfing. Amazing location with amazing staff, pool and area beautiful great choice of breakfast every morning. Shuttle service to various locations which don't cost which was a great surprise.

The 2 bedroom villa with the pool was perfect for us. Lots of space, good size pool and beautiful view. good Gym. Small but had everything we needed. Wide selection at breakfast. Staff was excellent. Very helpful.

Ladder into the pool needs some strengthening. SPA was more expensive than other good SPA at high end resort so we didn’t use the resort’s SPA.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially at the breakfast restaurant. Beautiful resort and well equipped villas.

You can walk from the resort along the beach to neighbouring bars and restaurants, but the main road is a dual carriageway, so safer to get a taxi if you want to leave the resort by road

Staff were accommodating and friendly. Loved the use of the buggies assisting guests in getting around the complex. Nice breakfast, comfortable bed, and pillows. Excellent large and clean pool with good temperature. Appreciated the body bug spray in the room. Vijitt exceeded my expectations.

The service was fabulous. And the view of the sea is now my screen saver. The food at the thai restaurant was wonderful.

We knew there wasn't a swimming beach as the tide is out very far. However, the pool is fantastic and you can easily access beaches via the hotel transfer if that's important to you.

Super friendly staff, spotless clean, great food and a relaxing beautiful location.

Air-conditioning was not adequate. Lighting is poor inside the villa. No good coffee options

The property was very relaxing and quiet. The staff were very friendly and treated us with respect.

The water pressure in the shower was too low, the rooms need a bit of maintenance in terms of paint etc
