Location was central in between Kata and Karon beach but also private and quiet. The villas located in the middle of the resort were overall well appointed and clean.

There wasn't anywhere in shower to put shampoo and soap. No hand soap bar or hand was wash was provided; made do with own soap/body wash.

The staff not real good, the restaurant, i ordered lobster bisque, and got shrimp soup. The breakfast a-lot of the things were empty as u went through the breakfast buffet. Just didn’t get a good feel about the place, couldn’t wait to checkout.

The property was located centrally to everything which was nice

They bully you into purchasing their meal package. We decided to opt out and the next day went to buy a machine cup of coffee, they charged us more for a cup of coffee and if I would have bought the breakfast package. When I went to talk to manager assistant she was very dismissive. I don’t recommend this place for the stay. Location yes, stay NO

We liked everything about the property. The breakfast was excellent, pool area was excellent , staff were amazing and the general aesthetics of the of the complex were beautiful.

Some of the beds were very hard out of a party of 5, 3 beds were hard. Rooms that we were in were dark and didn’t have enough lighting.

Very nice hotel and very good value for money. We had one of the older rooms but it was still beautifully furnished and everything was very clean. The pool was also very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the beach and a few good vegetarian restaurants can be found around. We would come back any time!

The breakfast could be improved, especially for vegetarians but it was okay.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly . Always a smile and greeting. They will help you with anything you ask and if they can't resolve it they will find somebody who can.Was our second stay at the Diamond cottages and will return again as the facilities fit our needs. Well positioned in the area we like to visit places. Pools are clean and well maintained as are all the surrounding facilities there. The rooms are cleaned daily, comfy beds, and all you need for a relaxing break.

There were a few sharp tiles in the pools on which both myself and my daughter cut both our figure and toes but once reported they were working on it the next day to fix the problem.

Wonderful stay. Beebah was exceptionally helpful ! We were celebrating our birthdays and when we arrived there was a wonderful decoration in our room .Thank you so much for a great few days .

We liked everything about this property. It was perfect for our family. The staff were brilliant.

Although we loved the pool bar it wasn’t very pleasing on the eye. Didn’t fit in with the rest of the beautiful resort.

The location of the resort was fantastic. On arrival we were allocated a room but it had an extremely unpleasant odour that we couldn’t tolerate. We contacted front desk and they moved us to another room which was better- however the terrible smell came through the air conditioning every so often in the early hours of the morning. It was tolerable but I think something needs to be done about the problem. The staff on reception and transport etc were fantastic but the staff at breakfast were on the whole very unhappy- I think I only saw one staff member smile in 9 days. Maybe it has something to do with the guests attitude towards them? But my husband and I are very friendly to everyone and expect the same courtesy-on the whole it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay again BUT- I think some staff training in dining room and bad smell REALLY needs to be dealt with.

Nice hotel in a superb location. If you dont mind a little hill from the beach then its a great. Close to lots of restaurants, 5 minutes to the beach (or a little more to the second one). I had a room in a building between the two main areas so it was very quiet. The hotel complex is pretty chill overall.The room was huge, decent bed, everything was clean. They provide beach/pool towels.I really liked the breakfast. A lot of choices, both local and international.The staff was friendly.

Even though I didnt find any any major problems, the price is expensive for what it is.The hotel complex and my room seemed like they remember a lot and some modernization could be useful.The AC was efficient, but pretty noisy.The wifi could be better.

On a VERY steep driveway. If you are lacking fitness this is not the stay for you. And it was so hot (obviously not a problem with the hotel but it made the climb to the hotel more difficult)

Location was good,close to kata beach and Karon beach. Breakfast had a good choice of food.Overall a good experience but wouldn't stay here again. Felt that it needed some tlc generally.

Happy hour advertised at pool bar and restaurant at front of hotel. We went to bar at the front of hotel but they said only at the pool bar area. We did pursue this and they did eventually honour the advertisement,however the staff were unpleasant and made us feel uncomfortable.

The staff was really kind, the breakfast was good quality, the hotel once probably was a very famous nice resort but no proper renovation since. The pool the bar in the pool, also the restaurant with evenings live music makes it nice to stay. Restaurant is quite good, but the staff here - like mostly in Thailand - not really trained for tourists. Orders are arriving in available order not as you wanted to eat them. We got the main dish then the soup and finally our drinks. At the end the waiter had already issues, where to place the plates as there were no place on the table. The dessert we ordered was forgotten then apologised for it and the waiter arrived with two portions. But returned to the kitchen with the food and came again to take the order - officially, to paper - to be able to serve it.

First of all, no plugin enough in the room. None next to the beds. Lights are all old and soft forget about to read anything. The step to the bathroom also quite uncomfortable why they cannot be on same level? The room was probably luxurious in 1990 but since then no change happened here. The airco is so old and noisy... The outer corridor was quite dusty sometimes with dead bugs. The terrace door cannot be closed properly. The pool surface was made with a hard concrete with small stones, quite harmful for kids but even adults can hurt themselves with it. There is only one elevator in the hotel (4person one) only on one side, so you have to take luggage and weights all the time on stairs. Even there is one floor where there is not even that elevator available.

The staff were great and the golf buggy up the hill was a help as it was very hot in the sun

The website says it is wheelchair accessible but it not at all. I messaged them directly about my partners access needs (can walk a short distance but not stairs). To get to our room (had booked pool access) we had to climb a flight of 20 steps and carry the chair seperately. There was one wheelchair accessible room but it had no access to the pool or the restaurant and would have required climbing the stairs every day for breakfast (they wouldn’t bring it to the room). As a result, my partners was limited in leaving the hotel and suffered increased health issues as a result of the stairs.

Rooms are spacious, resort was peaceful. Proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants are the biggest draw card. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms need updating, they’re a bit “tired” looking. Not enough power points, had to use kettle in the bathroom. A few extras such as USB ports, shelf in bathroom, storage shelves or cupboards are needed.

Good location ,good food

No ice machine considering its 26 degrees outside, you want cold drinks. You have to pay for ice each time you want it delivered to your room

On arrival the placed looked nice to the glancing eye and the staff seemed very friendly and the typical welcome you get here in Thailand.

Il keep it simple the place is in dire need of renovating, from the pool lino to the paint work and stained furnishings. It was just really really shocking and at BEST and I DO MEAN a 3* accommodation is pushing it.The first room we was accollcated was fine at first we unpacked and settled in then the room flooded from the AC unit after 1hr we was finally moved rooms.This 2nd room was ok at first we was reassured the sewage smell would pass after a while of the room being aired out. With the AC on. We returned to this room at 12ish Pm and on opening the door the smell was ruthless we aired out again and opened up the doors and decided just to put up with it as we was only staying one night. Throughout the night however the toilet backed up and pushed sewage into the basin and that was that we were DONE with this place but as it was 3Am we had to put up with it closing the door doing our best. Good news though as a compensation for all the SHIT we was offered a Cocktail as a sorry and that was that good old Diamond my arse an absolute shit hole.

Amazing place!The room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfasts were good. Location is very close to the sea and also close to stores if needed. SPA is wonderful.The staff was super friendly!
