Alpa City Suites Hotel

The room itself was fine as a hotel room for sleeping in and shower, once you got to it and if you weren’t working in it. The desk was nice.

The internet was, as in room guest book said, x10 dialup; when I arrived they couldn’t give me a room key until the following morning so the porter had to let me into my 7/F room, and the lifts (elevators) were either both broken or only one was working

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We ordered a room service meal from the restaurant, the food was good and it was delivered in good time. a refrigerator in the room with ice and bottled water appreciated as well as the microwave oven.

somewhat difficult access by car, busy streets and limited parking, although I understand they will provide other parking.

the location is far from de shoping center ,you must always take ataxi to get there. busy street also noisy if your room at the side of the street.

Decent property and fairly well maintained. It was nice to have a space for a kitchen sink and refrigerator. The staff seemed preoccupied with those on the staff (I would guess) preparing for the festival.

The toilet tank had to be bumped each time it was flushed to refill the water.

I like the king-sized bed. Internet connectionnis decent. There's a big kitchen counter and ref. Free parking.

The hallway gets REALLY dark in the midnight, you'll literally need a flashlight to go to the elevator area.

The bed and the room is very comfortable and clean. The staff are great and the food at the restaurant is very good including the breakfast which I enjoyed. I will return to Alpa City Suites again.

The staff were very accommodating and kind, you get what you pay for, location is good though not much shops nearby, have to walk at least 300 meters for a convenience store.

TV was not working, room is a bit dark, curtain in the bathroom was smelly

Clean room; comfortable huge bed; quiet; friendly and accommodating staff; great refrig. and a/c.

There a little bid of mold in the shower caulking that needs to be removed.

Locks were broken to the door. Had to be escorted each time in and out of the hotel. Dead flies on the floor. No one at front desk available during check out. No explanation of tv/ wifi or the restaurant. No menu in the room. Tv was broken. Definitely needs to be remodeled. Room did not match the photos.

The staff are friendly.

The executive suite wasn't good. Gives off creepy vibes and pretty old. The towels were too old and gives off white-ish color already. The bathroom floor wasn't that clean. The cable TV didn't have a good reception. The parking space is too steep and small. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the room.

Very quiet hotel, clean and accomodating staff.

The staff was very cheerful , friendly and professional. Very cool air conditioner and very good refrigerator. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet even though we are on a busy street. The water was nice and hot.

Only two towels and no wash cloths. The towels were not very absorbent. Poor water pressure in shower. The website indicated that this was a three star hotel and it appeared to be no better than any standard road side motel in the US. Everything was clean, but shabby.

Good location near shopping and eating areas. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean.

The room was old and needed a spruce up. Calling it an Executive Suite was a stretch.

The staff are welcoming and warm. It’s also cheap when it comes to price.

The room is poorly maintained. Rust is everywhere. Their TV is not functioning well. Their customer service and room service is crappy. There’s a lot more to complain but to summarize, almost everything.

There was no notice that the guest has to make a deposit in cash.Communication via Booking was a bit slow.Location: the hotel is in the very center of difficult to across the street around.

Our towels smelled like smoked ham and the air conditioner made us feel sick. It was hard to decide between being really sweaty at night and feeling like our throats were inhaling bad air. It’s an old air conditioning system the least they could do is change the filter. But yeah maybe the smoked ham smelling towels was worse for my wife who just needed to feel clean after traveling so much.
