ITC Maurya, a Luxury Collection Hotel, New Delhi

This hotel is one of the best i have stayed in.

Prices for lunch and dinner are exorbitantly high.

Availability and attentiveness of the excellent staff

took 40 minutes to get seated for be=reakfast

room servcie was slow .needed second call

Service by the Staff. Very caring and courteous.

The hotel premises had a very bad smell. Complained several times but no change.While checking in, they never find by bookings made through Booking.com. This has happened 3 times already.

Disappointing, dated rooms and decor!

Extremely dated, looks the same over the last 20-30 years. Extremely disappointing!Concierge svcs were not upto par with slow or no responses!This is NOT exoected for an ITC group flagship hotel. Dum Pukht needs a full renovation. Bukhara needs better, comfortable seats.

BREAKFAST WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. THE HEAD CHEF WAS HAPPY TO PROVIDE US WITH ANY EXTRAS THAT WERE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE BUFFET. GREAT SELECTIONTHE BEAUTY SECTION WHERE WE ENJOYED A MAGNIFICENT MASSAGE WAS 100% RELAXING AND A PERFECT RELAXING MASSAGE. GOOD PROFESSIONAL STAFF ALL ROUND.

Slow check-in

The service and staff were exceptional. From the reception, duty manager, booking team, restaurants and housekeeping. Exceptional service

The hotel was exceedingly busy, so the check in took an hour. It was exhausting after a long day of travel. When I got to my room there was strong chemical/ paint smell that seeped through the vents. Could only change the room the following morning to the next wing where the smell did persist albeit a lot less.

The rooms were comfortable. The food was delicious.

My reservation made two weeks before did not reflect in their system for some strange reason. However the customer service worked hard to resolve the issue and provided me with complimentary cake and wine for my wife’s birthday.

One of the best hotel experiences ever.Everything from the check in, to the butler service, to the food, restaurants, room service, cleanliness, everything was impeccable.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

No lawns for walking for jogging

The on site restaurant Bukhara was fantastic

They didn’t provide interconnected rooms as requested on numerous communications, the tv didn’t work, the rooms were not close to one another and not enough toiletries provided including no body lotion. It’s minor to some but for what is described as a luxury 5 star I was very disappointed

No espresso machine( capsule coffee) in the RoomNo separate shower area , one has to shower In the bathtubThe shampoo/ body soap does not lather wellBut leaves a stickiness on the skinThere is a decline in the service standard in In room dining We asked for a chilli Cheese toast - a signature item at ITC maurya but the in room dining lady refused since it was not on the official in room menu The staff in Pavilion restaurant are not proactive like they used to be- I think they are new and inexperienced

The room was very clean and it had the most comfortable bed of our 11-day trip. The hotel is a 20 min drive from the airport so it is very convenient if you are staying for one night pre-flight, but it is far away from the points of interest. Would recommend something closer to the centre if you are flying into Delhi for sightseeing. Breakfast had many options and there are also restaurants on site open for lunch and dinner.

Although the room size was fine, the bathroom was very small, with the shower inside the bathtub, which could present problems for some people. The rooms look a bit tired and in need of an update. The lobby is very busy and noisy due to its open plan design, and the day we checked in it was particularly noisy, to the point that we had difficulty communicating with the person who was checking us in. The restaurants onsite are ok but overpriced for the location and quality, and unfortunately, it appears that there are very few other options for eating nearby. It is very difficult to reach the front desk from the phone in the room. There is no direct number. We were put through an operator, and when we asked to be put to the front desk to extend our stay by a few more hours, the operator did not put us through. We had to call three times before we were finally able to speak with the duty manager who apologised and extended our stay at no cost, which was wonderful. However, we think that the hotel should consider modifying their internal processes and staff training to avoid the frustration situations like these can cause.

It’s beautiful hotel , with all amenities and cleanliness , restaurants are also very good ..
