Breakfast is really good (it's not included, but it's worth springing for it). The location is brilliant, bedside Khan Market metro. The hotel staff are so nice and extremely helpful. We had issues with Uber and they were really helpful in resolving them. Honestly a great hotel. Special shout out to lakshmi and pradeep. If you can would recommend gettting rooms on the inside of the hotel, it's quieter.

Had dinner in the chinese restaurant - it was late and we were too tired to venture out and find a place. Thought the food was OK and pretty over-priced.

very larger rooms, lovely vibe, amazing friendly staff. Very concerned and helpful.

the gym was not so good. The spa was not functional. Would have loved if there was a better gym

Located a stone's throw from Khan Market that has plenty of food and shopping options, the location of the hotel is perfect. The room itself was spacious and comfortable.

On our first family vacation in New Delhi, we are so glad to have chosen Ambassador. Its great to see these legendary properties under the TAJ umbrella. We had family members tell us about the Ambassador - its legendary old world charm. We loved the large rooms, wooden floors and warm hospitality - from an early check-in to early check-out where Mr Prakash carefully arranged to pack our breakfast for us to save time!!!The housekeeping staff are ARTISTS!!! Vijaylakshmi, Matin, Zaffar, Pradeep Ranjan had a festive surprise for us.. a beautiful flower arrangement on our beds (different in each room) !!As the pool @ the Ambassador was under maintenance, we were offered the use of the pool at the Taj Mahal hotel nearby - A great holiday treat for the kids!!Front desk staff was blessed with welcoming smiles and ready to help. The festive decorations in the lobby really set the mood. Hats off guys - you really made our festive holiday stay bright !!

Old and a bit unkempt. There was construction going on right outside our room that disturbed our sleep twice despite being assured there wouldn't be construction on one of the days. Not an experience I associate with a TAJ property.

You can access to Lodi Garden and Khan market easily as well as Metro station. The room I got from the day 2 to 4 was very comfortable with sunlight. I love the furniture and layout too.

The rooms facing inside where I got on the day one don’t get sunlight. I changed the room facing outside.

Location. At the edge of Lodhi Garden and Khan Market. In my judgment the best location among half a dozen of five and seven star hotels I have stayed in. It is an old property whose best feature is its low rise characteristic; embedded in the neighborhood. Unlike other more swanky hotels that look down upon the city.

It is old and things decays fast in the tropics. So in parts moldy and leaking. ACs often leak.

Not clean at all & smelly of bath room threw the AC specially 2floor Room.222?very smelly

The hospitality,the ambience,the family atmosphere plus the delicious food,it's a place you look forward to coming back to ....The staff felt not like staff but like a close knit family as they were always around you making you feel at home.I would recommend it all my nears & dears...

Chose the hotel for the location. Stayed in a spacious room with a balcony. Enjoyed the old world charm.

The control panel for the room lights was old and didn't work properly. Some of the furniture looked very old and faded.

Breakfast had variety and tasty.

Amenities could be better. The elevator is too small in size. Barely fits 3 persons.It would be better if the dinner is buffet system.

The best aspects of this hotel are its prime location in New Delhi, and the room itself, which I could have stayed in for weeks. It was quiet, large and had that air of an old hotel, which I so crave. Pick-up at the airport during the day was not cheap, but was hassle free and professional.

The worst thing about my stay is that the genuine warmth from the staff that I loved about this hotel many years ago, has all but faded. True, some of the old time staff still are kind, curious and warm. (They make me want to come back.) But, many staff members seem preoccupied, bored and distant. One night shift gentleman when I didn't give him a tip for a minor kindness, stopped acknowledging me in the lobby. Such behavior is immature and alienating. Please return to the bygone years when this hotel was the warmest in Delhi.

Did not have breakfast. Was out early always

The check out . Told the staff thrice. I need to leave at 5.15 AM. Some bureaucratic behaviour was on display early morning without any empathy that for the last few days I had been leaving at 0515 in the morning for work and I may be in a hurry. Zero interest or interaction The ARR s of the hotel are obviously good because of the location but they couldn't care a damn about why a guest is there and how can they make it more comfortable for him. Total contrast to Taj President in Mumbai. Should send the staff of this hotel there to learn something. On the positive side the HK guys were good. Helped me out with my jacket

Very well located next to a vibrant market with lots of shops and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and very big.

Outdated rooms and common areas. Very loud when you’re facing the Main Street, windows are not double glazed. Almost not outdoor space (just a bit of garden at the front). Breakfast is very average. We were also very upset that a party was organised on one of the terrasses right next to our room one evening and we were not warned (music and noise until midnight..)

Location was great and outside garden is great except they don’t have permitting so you cannot order a drink or food. Breakfast and Chinese restaurant also good

The hotel inside is so old and dated and needs a major upgrade! The room furnishing is old and the bar outlet looks like it’s still stuck in 1984. There is a stench smell in the main lobby area. Such a shame because this could be a great hotel but it is posing as a 5 star when it’s not even a 4 star

Staff were very good and location is central.

The property has not been updated since the last time I used it a lot of years ago! The lifts, bathroom in my premium priced roomand lighting on terrace could definitely be improved!
