The Umrao

The Umrao was a nightmare. Their listing says ?free breakfast? but is not free. Which is confusing because the ?free WiFi? is free. It took 3 nights of complaining about no AC before they changed our room. Do yourself a favor and don?t bother going here.

Close to the airport. Lush and green. Beautiful gardens

Lots of construction, room very small and not a 5* hotel

- The phone lines weren't working - The baby crib they offered was dirty and broken - The bed had shoe dirt marks - The staff didn't have sufficient change for the payment I had to make

Location and lobby

Very unprofessional management, create a hostile environment for family when we were having breakfast in morning. I book the room with Breakfast included and they were forcing my family to pay for it. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Wash room was extremely dirty and towels were yellowish. There were no hand towels and face towels. When complained at counter not much reaction . My room number was 206

The hotel is pretty and it's a large venue for large gatherings like weddings. Most of the staff was quite nice.

The food was really expensive for really basic things. And it's far enough away from everywhere that we felt a bit stuck there. It's fine for a night layover, or a large event like a wedding. It's not great for hanging out in Delhi.

There was a dispute about what?s included in the room package. They didn?t knew breakfast was included.

Bed sheets not clean , air conditioner not working , we stayed there for 5 days . And changed 3 rooms because of air conditioners not working. Staff make excuses making different reasons. Technical came and said it will work. One night staff on duty said the air conditioners plant feeding our room is not working for many days. Then why are they renting this room

Comfort of stay , mental stress during stay . We can’t sleep because of discomfort

We were given room on ground floor. At 1 am there was lot of noise from cleaning staff, looks like thats the time the cleaned the rooms or something.

Staff were incapable and service was worst they are forcefully sellling upgradatipn to make money even there was availab

I like your hotel very much because its price is suitable for my pocket. It is not far from its airport. The outside garden of the hotel as well as the inside lobby is very spacious and airy. I like the breakfast here very much. It is very delicious and wonderful. Thank you very much for the service.

I don't like in the room. Because it's old and your internet system that I can't connect to wifi because it's very difficult. I don't know why? But anyway I still like your hotel.

Everything was good except location. Location is terrible. Too far from any basic needs. I have to go 6 km, just to buy a cough syrup. There is nothing nearby.

Meals were very expensive and the prices were too high where the room quality was very low, even old furniture. The bathrooms were not cleaned. The staff looked like they came from another planet.

It was punctual in the arranging for the drive to the airport the following morning.

The shower was cold. Had to arrange for maintenance in early hours of the morning. To their credit, the hotel was responsive.

Too many mosquitos. Couldn't sleep though the night.Paid 7000Rs but couldn't get a sound sleep.And when I took back my car from the valet. I realized he had left the windows open during the night. Very bad experience overall

Beautiful ground area, close to airport about 10-15 mins drive. Buffet lunch is amazing about £20 per head

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I booked a room with a bathtub, but I did not receive the service I expected. The staff was unresponsive and provided poor customer service. Although I spent 20,000, it was not worth it at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My stay was unsatisfactory given the amount of money I spent. The staff was rude and did not offer any support to make my stay comfortable. They seemed more interested in getting my money than providing good service. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

nothing was good due to what happened, wipes out every good thing about the hotel

there is no concept of boundaries with the staff, whatever amount is being told to you is not what they will charge you and will wait till you leave and then call you and tell you that you haven’t paid the full amount, ipon rechecking they found that it sas their mistake and they misinformed me earlier and the new amount is more, and then without permission they will charge your card for it and send you a receipt on whatsapp. blatant robbery in daylight.
