Hotel Southern, New Delhi

Every thing was good. But the reception person was hostile. I am repet customer of this hótel. I think I should shift to some other hotel next visit.

Breakfast was good and had good variety . Location of the hotel was excellent and met my requirements

Executive room given to me could have been little bigger . Even bathroom was too small resulting in difficulty in entering and exiting bathroom .

It was, good, comfortable and location was good for connecting to places we needed.Southern Travels Sightseeing was excellent and the driver cum guide was excellent.

However we were not able to enter our room ( the Annexe Block ) for about 2 hours, as they were fixing the Drainage Overflow, which happed while we stayed there.Yes bad smell and dirty floors, enroute to the room was not we expected !!

Location

Staff's attitude, size of rooms - size of family suite is equivalent to size of single room, room is full of mosquito and insects and pest. Just because we had opted for complimentary breakfast in our room rent, that doesn't mean that we are beggars. The person was throwing the plates as if we are at his mercy. Very pathetic. Price of food, even igi airport food court is much better than the food served here. Room is without proper ventilation. Air conditioner is very stinky, no idea when they had serviced the equipment

Nothing is good..

Room was given in another building and for breakfast we have to come to main building that was not good. Room was also in bad condition. Poor lighting.

Room was clean. Good to stay.

- Non located in main building, this was a bit ulgy externally.- No towels provided for quite some time, even after repeated reminders.- There was no bathroom mat.- South Indian food was good at the veg restaurant. However was not as good as it used to be when I stayed many times on long periods some 15/20 years back.

breakfast was very good. Room cleaniness as well as service is also good.

Not allowing any one even our friends or relative to room. One customer came to meet me and in receiption they dont allow him. I felt bad but ok.

Breakfast spread was fair. Food quality was good.

Bathroom was little crampedNo ventilation in the room - cigarette smoke from outside was smelt in the room, though the rooms were non-smoking category

They are very harsh and not accepting the rules and regulations even when u have the hotel booking.

Harsh behaviour and denial to accept the room check in after booking

Room was okay.Reception - Mr. Shashi was absolutely professional.Housekeeping was helpful with accessories.

Reception staff in evening were obsolete, no smile, no discipline in replies, behaviour is of being overworked No fridge in room and evening reception refuses to provide though Mr. Shashi promised, say the entire hotel rooms have no fridge - pathetic.Safety in hotel rooms is compromised, looks like watchman, housekeeping all carry universal cards. Not a happy outing

Nothing except the location

The property is extremely unclean, poor ventilation, no napkins, the bathroom was also unhygienic. The room service needed to be called to clean the room. The luck in the room didn’t work so our luggage was unattended from 9 am-5 pm and we had to bring it to their attention more than three times for them to even address the problem.

It is not senior citizen friendly. I requested them to to accommodate us in the building but I was given some other hotel saying that too belongs to hotel southern. Which really shocked me.my mother was aged 85 years n myself 64 years had to walk to the other hotel which they say D Blick. Never knew hotel southern had so many adjacent hotels which they call as A B C D blocks. The website didn't mention such things. misleading eading

Service staffs are good. and location

bath room door is not proper, electricity all become old, not working properly try to switch on the fan the regulator will break, over all you guys are not maintained the rooms,Last year i stayed in your hotel more then one week so i visited

I didn't like room service very poor quality phones where dead

Value for money. Best part is restaurant service. Nice food with reasonable charges.

Tv channel is not working properly. Every time recharge msg shows .

The cleanliness and the south Indian. clean and tasty food

Cost higher. Did not clean the room everyday

Hotel room is ok all old items but bed is not good badly back pain.and food items sambar is not good reheated in morning hours. And vadai is not properly boiled it's very bad and old phone instrument numbers of phone is not working.And room lights is very bad always it's dark.

Here above items to be maintained in properly to get the name for the hotel bye

Location is in the market area. The rooms are not worth for 3k per night. No free water, no free breakfast, room was very congested. Most importantly the rooms were not in the main hotel building, it was almost 150 meters away from the booking counter.. horrible experience..

Just area is located in the center of the city

Hotel is too old and it doesn't need that money what u have quoted. Worst room amd beds , old comforters old blankets, taps are dirty , water bottles which were served are rusted not cleaned properly. Over all they are running on their south area name no maintainance at all. i have been alocated 311 room number , it has dirty headboards, i dnt know how many years they were not cleaned.
