Hotel Des Indes Menteng

It’s a very cute boutique hotel. It is clean, the location is very convenient. The staffs are friendly. Definitely, I’ll go back to stay there, when I come back to Jakarta.

I didn’t eat the breakfast there. I wish they have more varieties.

Great location, close to Central Jakarta. Lots of dining options nearby, nice restaurants and street vendors. Room was large and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.

WiFi was not very strong.

I stayed at Hotel des Indes Menteng for one night and overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel itself is lovely, and I really enjoyed my experience there. However, I am left with a bitter taste due to the poor service I received during my interactions with the sales executive.My uncle and I inquired about a corporate rate from the sales executive, as we are considering a longer stay. She promised to get back to us with the details but never followed up. I reached out again a week later, and she apologized, saying she had forgotten to reply and would let us know the very same day. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear back from her until now. Despite this, I decided to book an additional night, but the lack of communication and poor follow-up left me feeling disappointed with the level of service.I truly like the hotel and would love to stay again, but I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service, especially in terms of timely communication. It’s week three already. I am still waiting for the corporate rate and hope to resolve this soon.

Very quiet and comfy and also very clean place right in the center of the city. Special thanks to FO team for their exceptional service

The only thing I didn’t like at all was food. But there are a lot of places nearby or delivery.

The staff was amazing!! Friendliest people ever. The bed is also very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious.

The cleanliness could improve, and the bathroom could be better maintained.

Very clean room with a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful, with room service as an added bonus. Good central location in Jakarta.

The cleanest, artistic, fresh and bright, has been renovation, and everything well maintain in detail. Love the aromaterapic . The room is spacious, with botanical body soap and shampoo. Also the design and mebelairs, all is very good , love it, luxury and practicel. The breakfast was good too .

The room was spacious, we had a nice view of the city, the bed was really comfortable.

The breakfast was with little diversity, the towels and toilet paper were not replaced everyday.

Breakfast was not up to standard!, All food was cold, the ,Coffee was cold every morning All pots of Jam was not cleaned for days,food overcooked and very borring selektion. Not great at All.

The hotel is situated in a nice and central area. The bed was very comfortable, and the interior of both the reception and the restaurant was beautifully designed and well-maintained. Breakfast was ample, filling and delicious.

We arrived at 8 AM after a 20-hour flight, hoping for some flexibility with check-in, but we were informed that our room wouldn’t be available until the standard check-in time at 2 PM. While this was expected, a bit of flexibility would have been appreciated. Upon arrival, the receptionist told us that breakfast was included. Since I had booked the room a month prior, I didn’t recall whether this was the case, but I trusted the receptionist, as she had access to our booking details. When we finally got to our room, we were disappointed to find it unclean. The carpet and velvet furniture were heavily stained and in poor condition - very different from what the pictures suggested. Worse, the carpet was covered in hair. We immediately reported this to the receptionist, who sent someone to clean it. However, the cleaning was done only in the spots we specifically pointed out, leaving much of the floor still dirty. The sink tap was loose, causing water to spill everywhere. Additionally, while there was a window, it could not be opened. The next morning, while having breakfast, a different receptionist informed us that breakfast was not included and that we needed to pay for it. We explained that their colleague had told us otherwise the day before, but there was nothing we could do and we had to pay. The staff was generally slow and unhelpful. When we requested two towels, it took two phone calls and a visit to the reception before we finally received just one. At that point, we gave up. Overall, our experience was disappointing.

Lobby smells so good...staff really helpful and nice...breakfast was delicious...not so many menu but its enough...its delicious..room was comfortable....overall i am satisfied...can come again....tq so much

Maybe can improve toilet cleanliness..
