Great strategic location. Breakfast was okay.

Room was not well maintained. Tape was peeling off on the wall. Breakfast staff was not attentive, lacked explanation.

The location is very strategic. Ashta is only 5-minute walk from the hotel and plenty of restaurants and cafes around the area. The room also feels luxurious.

Traffic around the area is pretty bad. There was also a funky smell coming from the toilet drain. Since they allow smoking at the restaurant, expect the corridor and the room to smell as well.

An amazing 3-night experience at Loft29. From the very beginning, Davidee, the host and owner, communicated intensively and was quick to respond. The location is close to St. Peter's Basilica, close to the Metro station (Cipro) and directly across from a 24-hour Carrefour. Davide is very friendly and helpful, and quite flexible, we were able to store our luggage before check-in time. Davide gave us lots of great local tips. When I shared this place on my social media, many people asked about it, I was worried that as it became more popular it would be difficult to book or the price would increase. On the one hand, I wanted more people to get the chance to know this place, but on the other hand, I was worried that it would be even more difficult because of the high demand, a wonderful dilemma, right Davide?.

Restaurant is a smoking area so, as a non-smoker, we cannot eat lunch and dinner there because many people are smoking. It’s too bad we cannot do so because our breakfast is always good.

The room was excellent: clean, posh decor, good quality furnishings, well-kept. We even got a free upgrade to the Wood floor even though we booked on the White. Location was excellent, of course, and the fact that the hotel doesn't have too many rooms was actually a plus point because it felt like a cosier, more intimate kind of place.

The front desk receptionist was a little ditsy; it took her a really long time to check us in because she kept making small mistakes with my details on the form. Other than that, no complaints.

This hotel is a true gem! The interiors transport you straight into an Agatha Christie novel – elegant, timeless, and full of character. You almost expect to meet Poirot around the corner! The food was outstanding, with every meal crafted to perfection, and the staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and always helpful. A perfect blend of mystery and comfort, this hotel is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Central location in CBD next to Ashta

The building is old, and they have a restaurant/dinner rooms and private clubs on site that allowed smoking. The smell goes into rooms...And they have to deodorise the smell away.

The look and feel of the room is great

The had probably one of the worst hotel breakfasts I ever had, the toilet didn't flush and the hotel wifi was not easily acccessible.

location, the Sofia cafe were nice.

breakfast quality is questionable. during my stay, there was shell in the omelette in 3 different mornings. In addition, I ordered the cheese toast 3 different morning. Every time the amount of cheese was different, in one of them, I had to open the toast to see if there is any cheese... For this price of a hotel, you expect better.

Saturday was not possible owing to a function being set up. Quite surprised to not have the possibility of breakfast at 09.30

The staff was very helpful and accommodated my request, even the little ones. Location wise, A+! Walking distance to ASHTA and grab is easy.

Really lovely slightly traditional style hotel. Staff was super friendly. Room was really nice and very reasonable

The bathroom suddenly smell like a sewage during the rain.

I booked it as was mentioned it’s 5star! While I realized when I reached that it is 3stars (motel) not hotel!!!No facilities at all! Except breakfast area.The pictures are not real .. ant it’s not value to what i paid Bad experience ?

architecture, design and fittings

the room smelt damp, the bathroom had mold but just needed some more attention to detail with cleaning. particularly the tiles in the shower. you wouldn’t expect this from a hotel of this status.

The Design

The room was superb, no doubt. Breakfast was so so. We got cut fruits upon breakfast, and the fruits taste like onions. I guess the chef use the same knife without washing it properly when cutting the fruits.

The design is so beautiful every detailed very well selected. The room is spacious and high ceiling. Downstairs amazing restaurant.In the heart of south Jakarta

In the room I had a lot of noise because of AC units outside the window.

Tired hotel with minimal hospitality. Shower was blocked, noisy aircon (reported & not fixed) which made it really hard to sleep. Room was very dark & dingy.

This is a very cute hotel in an old heritage building. Lovely furnishings and an excellent restaurant and bar.

No breakfast was included, had to purchase it, and the pastries were stale. Staff were unfriendly, and the room had a drainage issue. Very expensive considering no breakfast, pool, gym, etc. and average service.
