The grounds were very pretty

They changed the floor and room number without telling us, from room 1020 to 926 but it was the same room! Very, very confusing and our keys didn?t work each day so I spent many minutes in the lobby line to speak with someone. Room was very dated.

Locations and a good food

This is by far, the best hotel I have ever stayed in.The rooms are huge, the staff is super friendly, it has a ton of amenities you can use, the buffet has many options.The location is unbeatable.

That I had to leave.

I was missing my dogs. Then I meet canine dogs Viola she’s golden retriever and a Belgian Mallanoius. I was able to get a cuddle from them. Security guys gave me permission to do so. It was very lovely of them.All staffs were very helpful when we needed safety box battery to be changed. It was done same night we arrived.

Location a bit too far from my parents house.

Olympic size swimming pool. Great for exercise, lap swimming!Very clean !

first 3 bedroom apartment we were given on the ground floor had a very bad odor. the receptionist was kind to replace us with a better 3 bedroom apartment

We booked a family room through Booking.com, which turned out to be a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen in one of the garden wings. The apartment had ample room for my family of seven (parents, grandparents, and four kids). A crib was kindly provided for the kids.We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the room due to its ample space, cleanliness, and peaceful surroundings. The garden was large and featured a playground, pools, and other facilities like tennis courts. My wife used the spa for a massage one day and was delighted with the experience. The pool was a great spot for the kids, and the staff was attentive and helpful, providing towels and chairs as needed. I particularly appreciated the personal assistance from the morning staff member.The staff, particularly the room service, was incredibly attentive and took great care of our room. We had the opportunity to observe them cleaning, and they were meticulous and friendly throughout the process. Thank you for the excellent service, Mas.The breakfast was included in the room rate, even though we had booked it for a single person. It offered a variety of local and Western dishes, although the quality could be improved.The hotel is conveniently located near the Gambir train station, Istiqlal Mosque, and Monas. The compound is well-secured, with K9s patrolling the gates. Taxis are readily available, although there are no Bajaj (the small three-wheeler) taxis.

Our room in the garden wing was quite enjoyable, although it did feel a bit outdated. The positive energy there was so strong that it didn’t bother us much. However, you could tell the age of the terrifying electrical outlets and the very old kitchen. Don’t get me wrong, everything was exceptionally clean and maintained to the best of our knowledge. But a makeover would certainly suit this lovely place.As mentioned earlier, Bajaj scooters are not allowed on the property, so we had to get off at the pedestrian gate. This was a bit of a downside.

Location good. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Outside gardens very nice.

The hotel must have been great when it opened years ago. But it is dated and badly needs renovation and modernization. I reserved a suite. The bed was not comfortable. No room amenities. 1980s type of setup. Equipment in gym ancient. Food was ok but nothing special.

Iconic place for Java Jazz Festival where the overseas musicians stay at this hotel and you could enjoy their jam session at night time. Very spacious room and great facilities such as gym, swimming pool.

The water circulation of bath tab was not very smooth.

The location, staff and the well-maintained garden are wonderful. It is located in the Indonesian historical area. The food is okay.

However the lobby is a smoking area so it’s totally uncomfortable for the nonsmokers to sit around.

Pool and the number of restaurants in Hotel Borobodur were quite impressive. I was very happy with the quality of food and drinks. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing locations such as the Istiqlal Mosque (walking distance) and Monas (should take a short taxi ride).

Room facilities were a bit old and outdated, such as the TV and the bathroom. I hope the rooms will be renovated soon.

Large territory, many services, unfortunately, it was raining, and some places were inaccessible without an umbrella.Goord restaurant both for breakfast and for dinner.

Was a misunderstanding with the staff ordering the Taxi in advance - one receptionist promised to do it, another was surprised, because they usually don't do it in advance, as usually there are taxis around that arrive quickly.Prices in restaurant were a bit high.The price per room was a bit high.

The apartment type room I stayed in was very old and outdated,and the plugs on the walls are not the normal 2 round prongs, instead it’s UK style prong. The doors and furnitures are damaged, one door to the closet cannot be closed. Breakfast selection was poor and not tasty.

In recent years I have been using the Borobudur hotel, breakfast is not very different, less varied

Nice location in the center city , food is expensive if you ordered

Clean, nice garden , big room, the garden can not be match

I don't like the room, the carpet is smely, poor bathroom,old style.
