Amaris Thamrin City Hotel

Above thamrin city mall and nearby grand also plaza mall but You need to cross the road to reach indomaret

1. No refrigerator2. Bathroom door cannot be closed fully 3. Got baby cockroaches everywhere4. The bread toaster realllllyyyyy needs to be clean, PLEASE!5. Theres no heater inside the room but got water dispenser outside the room6. Do proper wash cleaning for the cups, i can still see some lipsticks stuck on the cup ?

Full set of breakfasts, tasty and still hot. Refillable water bottles. Friendly staffs.

Cleanliness some of the floor were sticky. telephone some not working. Room reservation should be more smooth.

breakfast not variety. the bed not comfortable. please change to a new mattress.

Maybe u can add iron and electric kettle inside the room..otherwise everything is perfect

Clean,the location in central,just by walk to Hotel Indonesia interchange.The staff was so professional especially Ms.Caca in reception.Definitely will rebook this hotel.

Breakfast was good and very friendly staff who were helpful whenever I approached the. The location is excellent if shopping is your thing. the three malls around the hotel means you could always nip back into the room to leave your purchases.

I saw a cockroach at the bathroom sink

There was no view. No extra card key. Towels were worn out.

The best part is the people or the staff at the hotel. They are kind, friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was also good. Enough variety, decent taste. Not high end, more like local, common food but looks like everyone likes it. Possibly the biggest selling point of the hotel.

The room is dark, bad lighting. There were cockroaches walking on the wall, little bugs on the bed. The towels smelled musty. I was scared to use it. Our room has a shower curtain that’s hung really high, leaves gap on the floor about 15 cm. Water splattered easily to the area outside the shower. My daughter’s room next door has no shower curtain at all. Her room has a little bottle of hand soap, our room has none. There’s a window in the room but it leads to a hallway. If you open the curtain, someone can look into your room. I don’t know how is it with the other Amaris hotel. But the Tham City location that we stayed was not good.

The place to get to difficult described and confusing. Long wait for a lift.

Location wise is walkable to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. The room is quite spacious for two people with big luggage. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The toilet smells a bit nasty.

I must say for the price, it is very cheap considering it included breakfast everyday. And the menu choices for breakfast is quite good as well. Overall it was a quite experience to stay here especially if you don't plan to stay in the room for long as you'll be exploring Jakarta city most of the time.

The bathroom cleanliness. It has mold quite here and there. And the water pressure for the shower is not really okay. Was not provided shower gel and shampoo.

Nearby shopping mall

There was noise pollution during our stay because the hotel was undergoing renovation. The room I stayed had no view, even though in the website mentioned it would have a city view. The towels were only provided after 7 PM.

Cheap, comfortable. If you like shopping, you should stay here because it is easy to go to the shopping center of Thamrin city, grand indo, plaza indo. easy to find food..

Very near to food outlet and shopping

The facilities are very basic, they only give a pair of slippers and dental amenities. No complimentary coffee and tea. No spoon to stir when making drink.

Strategic location with affordable price.

Some basic tools were broken and replaced with non-original equipment. The AC not properly position hence it didn't circulated well in the room.

staff upgrade my room, cause the room I book alrdy full. have alottt of variety food for breakfast. room clean, comfort to stay and sleep. close to Thamrin, GI /plaza mall and others you just need to walk. all staff from receptionist till guard all helpful nice. my second time here & for sure will stay again !!!

Excellent location. Attached to Thamrin City Mall, plenty of food outlets on ground floor.

Bathroom door can’t be shut. Have to call reception for a hair dryer and it’s only 500w, took forever to dry hair. Towels and bedsheets look seasoned.

Apply way in advance for next door or closer Rooms, and even tell them we are arriving late at night, which gives them plenty of time to arrange. But we got one room at level 6 and another one on 6A. One room is 673, the very end and next to my room is construction going on the whole day for 2 days stayed ..hacking,hammering and drilling..our eardrums are falling..Stone and debris from construction flew through the space under the door..The bathrooms sink weeping and soaking the floor..told th staff only replacing the soaked floor towel..
