- The staffs are very helpful. I was traveling with my kids and I booked two connected deluxe rooms. Since the available connected rooms are smoking rooms and I do mind so the staff upgrade to Junior Room FOR FREE. The rooms are very spacious and we were really grateful for that.

My wife and I always stay there when we are in Jakarta. Great value in every way. I always love having the breakfast which is important to me and the people always make the difference between a great or not experience.

The cleanliness of the hotel is a major issue. The bed sheets are unhygienic, and the air conditioning unit is dusty and uncleaned. The English staff, particularly James, is poor. The hotel’s policy for security deposits is also problematic. During booking, the deposit amount is not disclosed, but after making a non-refundable reservation, you are informed that you will need to pay 500,000 during check-in, the management’s instructions are uncomfortable and unprofessional.

The room bit outdated
I have stayed at Menara many times now and the one thing that stands out is the wonderful staff. From the front desk/reception, to concierge, security, to cleaning staff, restaurant staff etc.. I must say that it is so satisfying to know that each time I stay the staff are truly fantastic and pleasant. My Bahasa Indonesian is not so good but the staff all seem to speak English quite well, even the new girl (i forget her name) that cooked my eggs for breakfast a couple of days. She was so pleasant and always smiling. I manage a hotel in Australia and one of the most important things for me is that my staff are always smiling and pleasant to customers. Menara Peninsula 5 Stars service. Please pass this on to all staff. Terimah-kasih?

The breakfast was nice and complete as well as very tasty! The rooms were spacious enough, clean and cost!The staff was very nice and accommodating! So we booked the 2 rooms again for 9 Jan 2025!
The singer in the bar was very loud, all the rest was very good!
Since the hotel was well occupied I have been upgraded. Stayed several times there when I have to be in Slipi.

I paid for queen bed non smoking they tried putying us in a double bed non smoking ended up in a stinky king bed smoking room which im allergoc to smome and i have a cast on my foot they made zero attemp to help bags or servoce they pool was green not clean food is way overpriced for portions bad lighting sticky smokey smelling bed sheet like they havnt been changed in a week entire room smelled bad no attemot to cover cigerret smell at all
