Grand Tropic Suites Hotel

The pool is awsome. It has gym facility and sauna.The 3 bedroom unit and 2 bedroom unit is spacious. We can spend time to eat and play together without feeling cramped.The location is close to several mall and there are plenty food hawker just steps away.Our 2 bedroom unit had leak from the AC, the building team is very helpful, fix it immediately.Our 3 bedroom unit is AC is not working properly, and finally they fixed it after several calls.The bathtub is great, the elders use it to the maximum to relaxing their fatique body with hot water bath.They also provide good liquid soap and shampoo in dispenser.They even clean the room without us asking for it.There is a minimarket at ground floor makes us convenient to buy snacks and drinking water.We spend 2 nights here. Overall everyone is happy during our stay.

You must ask the housekeeping to clean the room when you have just checked in.The refrigerator needs some cleaning.No microwave.The changing room is difficult to locate, poorly maintained, and inadequately lit. As a result, many guests opt to return to their rooms without changing out of their wet swimwear, past the lobby.Pool is very dark at night. No pool lamp at all.Some of the pool lamps are falling apart from its position.The bathroom floor is very slippery and no bath curtain for bathtub.The handheld shower is leaked so water splashed everywhere when we use it.However, we look forward to seeing the improvement during our next stay.

i had to go get some cash at the ATM because the only card terminal was not working. it was nearly impossible to adjust the hot/cold water. Only one small container of soap. The safe box was not working. tje bathtub was in a poor condition

It was close to malls

The place was falling apart. Smelt like my grandmas house. Had no stove in the kitchen for some reason? Clearly a failing business.

The airconditioning was very old and loud. Furniture really needs an upgrade.

We stayed 1 nite on the weekend, and kids are very happy. They love to swim? . And yes this hotel has a beautiful swimming pool in Jakarta. Love it?

There was a nice male on the reception desk who helped when he noticed the female receptionist was being rude and welcomed us as the female was completely rude and unprofessional. The security people were very welcoming and nice and the cleaning people who offered to help with our bags as you had to carry bags up the stairs from the basement when there was 4 perfectly good lifts there but your not allowed to use them to go up from the basement. Pool was awesome, supermarket next door was awesome, lots of parking available.

The female receptionist that I first talked to when checking in was really rude, totally ignored us first and stayed playing on her phone then snapped at us once we starting talking to the male receptionist (who was really nice - actually smiled at us and said welcome) so she came over was very short and abrupt with us not giving us any information about the room, parking or wifi just acting like a brat when we asked questions then went back to looking down and txting on her phone. The floor in our unit was absolutely filthy - I had a shower and between getting out of the shower (in the en-suite) and walking to the bedroom my feet got black from the dirt, see the photo. Dirty marks all over the walls, unit needs a lot of work, cracked and a few missing tiles in the en-suite bathroom, a lot of the walls were dirty and some had mould and cracking plaster - which can all be fixed with a bit of work. All of the problems with the room needing work and being dirty can easily be fixed by Grand Tropic but if the female receptionist that checked us in is the face guests get when you arrive I will not be booking with them again - which is a shame because next year we were going to bring 4 families with us for a extended stay in Jakarta here at Grand tropic. I’m sure not all units are this bad we we’re probably in the worst as I’ve heard good things about this place and this one night stay was a tester for when we come back to Jakarta next year
