Perfume smell too strong, lighting not enough

The decoration and atmosphere are great and definitely high-end. It was super clean and great location.

After a fight to Seoul and expecting another long flight next day, I was expecting to take a shower and have a good rest, but ridiculously there was NO hot water!!! And the staff told me nothing they can do. Hard to believe happened in 5 star hotel!!!

for dirty towel they charge $40 and they give me discount for $20 but i cant not believe . who does that?!!!!!!!!!!

Breakfast

Location was good but the incline at the front door is problematic from unloading luggage to accessibly. The happy hour buffet and selection of beverages was great. Breakfast is good but should have more options.

Many things such as the check-in area, very uncomfortable. The hotel is too unlit and has a very strong smell. The cupboards in the room were musty. The elevators are cold. The decor is dated and the furniture in the library quite used. Staff is helpful within the scope of normal procedure but provides no above and beyond consideration or service. The price is too high for coffee while you wait for your room, over $10 cdn a cup

What a wonderful welcome to Seoul! The rooms and beds were extremely comfortable, the staff warm and helpful, and the extra lounge benefits an excellent value. We would like to recognize the server Tae Yu Pa who was especially delightful. We planned to stay 4 nights and extended an additional 2. Do not hesitate to book L’Escape!

If your warm is too warm request that they adjust the control.

Located next to the Underground train and a big mall with a very nice food court. Neighbourhood walking distance to Namdemun Market. Would definitely stay again here. Korean beauty products are a bargain at their many Pharmacies and Olive Young shops.

Great place to stay in Myeongdong. Close to everything yet not in the middle of the market. Huge room with great facilities

Some of the staff don’t speak English very well, check in was slow (although offered late check out in favor). Breakfast didn’t change at all through our stay

The lounge happy hour and breakfast is a plus

Nothing not to like everything was perfect

Room was big althought it was quite strange there was a large entry area which wasn't really usable space. Bed was comfortable. Location is good.

Shower pressure low and slow to heat up.

Really glad that we had chosen the club access- great happy hour and breakfast in a fabulous setting.

I am sensitive to scents( cause headaches). The signature scent was lovely but very strong in some areas,

It was very unique and beautifully decorated. We had a beautiful view, and the hotel was quiet. There was also a concierge service which was helpful. I would definitely stay here again, the location was excellent.

Although it was a beautiful property, we are more practical folks and found with some of the beauty, there was a trade-off with functionality ie the lighting system was wonky. The restaurant was too expensive for us for breakfast, thankfully there’s so much nearby, It wasn’t a big deal.

While all the materials, surfaces and very detailed design is over the top opulent, we couldn’t wait to leave as we could not see properly. The room seriously needs a lighting designer.

Great location. Shor walk to Myeongdong top attractions and shopping areas.The hotel has beautiful installations and the rooms are superb. The bed was extremely comfortable.Very friendly service and top notch service.

There is nothing that I didn´t like

Great location. Staff were attentive and friendly. The decor is amazing. We ate breakfast and dinner most days at the hotel - both were excellent.

Our only problem was with the room ventilation which often ran too hot and couldn't be reset to the desired temperature. The staff did send an engineer to look at it and there was improvement for a day or 2. Annoying, especially during the night.

Beautiful hotel, clean, good location, next to subway, shopping and able to walk places easily, which is good because traffic is bad. Great breakfast. Staff was helpful.

The staff was helpful, but at times did not understand questions, and had trouble answering them.
