Hard to find with taxi

The hotel is in a great location right by City Hall station, that has access to the green and blue lines, as well as buses. I took the green line to major destinations everyday. It’s also in walking distance to the touristy district of Myeongdong. Dustin, the receptionist who helped me check in and out, was extremely kind and helpful. He has a little bit about serving you like a king, which was very cute :) And gives away arrow root cookies, a Korean specialty! He also was able to call me a taxi to the airport as I couldn’t reserve in advanced. Great service, A++ to Dustin! The room itself served its purpose for me; I was out everyday, so I personally only needed a base. The comforter was fluffy and there was a surprising amount of TV in English. I appreciated the heated floors, which were desperately needed during a cold front. The hotel was super affordable too. You have to ask for cleanings, but I was able to contact them through WhatsApp.

The only things are that a mirror in the bathroom and the electric kettle in the room were both dirty, but everything else was clean and they provided water/a kettle in the lounge upstairs. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Firststay Myeongdong and would stay again!

The staff, especially Rachel and Dustin were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the rooftop is nice and comfortable. The location is perfect.

The staff was really kind and helpful. They held on to our luggage after check out until our flight. I’d like to thank Dustin specifically. You guys were awesome.

Super good location, the front staff was excellent and very friendly. The hotel held our suitcases when we arrived to the hotel before check in, and even delivered the suitcase to our hotel room so it was waiting for us. Check in was seamless. The room was good! Since we picked an interior room with no windows, it was a little damp, but still completely comfortable! The amenities were very good and the shower pressure was nice. And they also have coin laundry in the hotel so that was convenient. The room was very nicely sized and great value for money. Upon checkout, Dustin gave us cookies and water, and was able to hold our luggage for the majority of the day since our flight was very late in the evening.

Room was a little damp. The laundry wasn’t completely dry after one cycle- which was probably our fault since we may have overfilled the laundry. So we finished by air dry in our room and that took a while since the room was a bit damp to begin with.

The value for money was great, the location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The room was small - with very little space for the suitcases or even to unpack.

Hotel Firststay Myeongdong was clean and spacious for a hotel in a bustling area of Seoul! The staff were super helpful and nice, making our stay very comfortable.

Great and helpful staff! We interacted with a few front staff members and they were all wonderful. Dustin especially, helped us with taking care of our luggage and booking the airport taxi. Much thanks to the staff for their help! It made our stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel room itself was a bit on the cramped side

Rooms were adequately sized; a little on the smaller side, but with enough room for my bags. The location is undeniably one of the best in Seoul; many attractions are within walking distance and there is access to many train/bus lines. Transportation and sight seeing were no problem.

The beds were on the stiffer side. I'm quite used to beds being harder from traveling in Asia; it's something that's quite common in other hotels. But it could be discouraging after a long day of sightseeing.

The room was really clean and comfortable, and the staff were honestly so nice. They helped my friend and I a lot when we were confused, and Dustin was especially great—he gave us tons of cookies and made the whole stay feel way better

The whole staff is so friendly! Dustin went above and beyond ordering a taxi for us and always greeting us and saying his farewells when we left. Loved the staff a lot. Everyone stood out.

Both receptionists were amazing, including Dustin, whose name I remember. Thanks Dustin! (The girl, whose name eludes me, was amazing too.)

Location was great, right by bus stop, metro, and street market.

Could use more sound proofing (we kept hearing our neighbors)

My husband and I had a fantastic time staying at this hotel! The staff were very responsive if we had any questions and Dustin was so helpful getting us checked in an hour early and letting us know what to expect for the hotel and where things were. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom had everything that we needed. The location was also superb as it was close to a lot of bus stops as well as very close to Seoul station.

The only thing that was a bit hard for my husband was the central heating since it did get hot a few times, but luckily the rooms came with air conditioners that we could use to help cool the room down. We know about this thanks to Dustin's warning at check in, so really this was more of an inconvenience on our side than anything negative.

The front desk is super friendly , Jerry was super kind and help us with the luggage and taxi. The room was clean and spacious, we are super happy with our stay and will highly recommend this place!

Everything was great

Convenient location with friendly and supportive staff. I especially impressed with Hailey and Jerry during my stay there. They were so nice and kind!

We went in Winter and the heated floors were lovely and shower pressure is GREAT after a long day of exploring.

The walls were little thin and could hear the family next door.

I like that it's super close to the bus station and the restaurants near it were delicious. It's also close to some attractions like the Myeongdong Shopping Street and Cheonggyecheon stream. The location is perfect. I like the heated floors. Very comfortable to walk barefoot in the room. I enjoyed the bathtub too. Room was more spacious than I expected for the price.The staff were very nice and accommodating. Dustin helped us with check in and check out, and he's been a great guy overall. Very pleasant. We also appreciated Rachel and this other lady who helped us with retrieving our bags and assisting with the driver for our airport drop off. So sorry I forgot her name even if I asked last minute. But all of them were great. They were approachable and very pleasant to talk to. They also give you free cookies upon checkout.It's a good hotel and I would honestly consider staying here again if I'm back in Seoul. Thank you!
