    Pros +

    • spacious room
    • I love the prime location, with Myeongdong’s shops, restaurants and cafés just steps away. The elevator access, quiet hallways and fairly spacious room added to the comfort. I also appreciate the daily cleaning—though the carpet could benefit from more thorough vacuuming. The check-in and check-out process was also quick and efficient and they offer affordable hourly rates if you need to extend your checkout time.
    • Perfect location. Very near train station and walking distance to the shopping area. they changed our towels everyday. Towels and sheets smell clean and good

    Cons -

    • expensive despite lack of amenities. better hotels at similar price point
    • As someone from a tropical country with no winter season, I found it challenging to adjust to the freezing climate. My stay would have been even better if the heater wasn’t centralized, as I would’ve loved the option to increase the heat instead of having to bundle up in multiple layers just to stay warm in the room.
    • The bathroom was a little small. The lavatory and bathing area are in one place. The shower curtain has an unpleasant smell.

    nothing. please don't stay here.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in different countries, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I stayed at Line Hotel Myeongdong for two nights, and I honestly couldn’t wait to leave. From the start, the staff were rude and unhelpful. It wasn’t about a language barrier — it was just their attitude. They weren’t welcoming at all, and they made check-in feel awkward and uncomfortable. The moment I walked into the room, I was hit with a horrible smell, like walking into a dirty public toilet. The whole room had a musty, dusty scent that never went away, even with the air conditioning on. The floors and walls had stains, the bed looked used and not properly cleaned, and the bathroom smelled even worse. When I opened the fridge, I gagged. It smelled like rotten meat or something dead had been sitting in there. It wasn’t cold or working at all. Everything in that room just felt grimy. It’s honestly the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever seen. The shower didn’t have hot water for the first 20 minutes. I had to stand there freezing, waiting for it to finally turn warm. The bathroom floor and walls also looked filthy, and the whole place felt like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. The air conditioning did work, but there was this constant dusty, stale smell in the air that made the room feel stuffy and gross. I barely slept because I just felt uncomfortable the entire time. The location was the only decent part since it’s right in Myeongdong, close to shopping and food spots. But even that was a hassle because the hotel is inside a building that shares one small elevator with other businesses. It was always crowded and took forever to arrive. I’d have to wait every time I wanted to go up or down because people from other floors were using it, or staff were loading garbage and supplies. The photos online are completely misleading. I don’t expect hotels to look exactly like the pictures, but this one looked nothing like them.

Super convenient location to tourist things and subway station.

Bedding was washed but had stains. Bathroom had some stains as well

Would never recommend this hotel to any one and would never stay there, when I visit Seoul again.

First floor entrance to hotel also used by restaurant with patrons, and deliveries that always blocked entrance to reach hotel lobby (5th floor) and room. Restaurant staff with carts always used either of 2 elevations for basement or 2nd and 3rd floor for their restaurant.Check-in staff at 9pm was rude and not responsive to any of our questions of dining, transportation and directions on tourist sites. Whenever we came down to lobby no one was ever at the check-in desk we would have to wait or hopefully catch them doing some work task at the time.7 days and our sheets were never changed, once our coverlets were changed after 4 days. We had to catch room staff to get fresh towels daily after 4pm.Location of hotel is on a busy walking alley by cabs, delivery trucks, cars and people. Poor entrance with 2 glass doors and 5 feet to the next pair of glass doors to enter the 2 elevators.

The location was very nice. Few steps away from Myeongdong street food night market. On the other direction it is very near to Lotte Department store. Train station which is Euljiro station is very close and line 2 is will take you to Seongsu, Dongdaemun, Hongdae, Jamsil and Coex Starfield Library. The hotel is next to cafe’s, 7-11 and a pharmacy.

The area was good but it’s in the same building hidilao so it smells like hotpot all the time

There was no mirror, bathroom was a wet bathroom, the smell in the elevator

    Great location, cost effective

Room was very small, I was kind traveller but had I been sharing it would have been very difficult

    Good location

There was this front desk/ receptionist (an old man) who is not courteous enough and doesn’t understand my message very well. He seems to be mean when I was asking something. When some co-tourirst saw how he treated me, they are the ones who are more than courteous enough to help me locate a mall address.

Great location, close to the Myengdong markets, train stations and walking distance to many attractions.

We had to change rooms as the first smelled so much of mould/damp we felt ill, the staff were only able to accommodate this after two nights.

I stayed with my parents. The location was perfect, the room wasn't noisy and was comfortable for 3 adults. The staff was kind and helpful. There was a water dispenser on the lobby floor. And tea/ mix coffee, microwave, tables, and chairs.. if you buy your food as takeout, you can have it there..

Maybe cleaning could be better. On the first day, there were a few stain on bed sheets, but when they changed, it was OK. The biggest problem was, when we opened the blackout curtains, the cold winds were coming from the windows.. and there was no other thin curtain.. that's why curtains had to be closed when we were in the room..

The hotel location is one of its attractiveness. It’s near the Euljiro subway station. Although the hotel is sharing the same building as some F&B outlets, it’s rather quiet on the hotel floors.

Cleanliness. Has water filter at Lobby to refill drinking water bottle.

Inconsistent water temperature, small room size, small bed.

    No Breakfast option, No services

no water bottle served, rooms are extra cosy,

    1AnaPosted on: 11-10-2024

    Room is clean

    1. The room is very small, not enough walking space and there is no space to even open 1 luggage!! (I have 3 big luggage!)2. Booked 2 adult + 1 child (6 year old and above) but was given the wrong room. Checked with the customer service but they can't do anything about it as it is the booking app issue and it is fully booked for the whole week! It was the worst 7 days stay for me, hubby and my girl. I wouldn't recommend if you are travelling couple or family.

Central to everything. A few steps from the station Eulgiro (1)

Very noisy at night - lots of honkingalso at dawn when garbage trucks are doing their rounds.
