Location, staff, value
Mosquitoes were everywhere.
Location is great, very close to tourist places and restaurants by walking
There is no window to separate the shower from the rest of bathroom, so everything get very wet during shower.
Not at all what I expected. I ended up checking out 30 mins later and booked another hotel. 2 twin beds were squeezed next to each other and not separate at all. There was no room to move. Room looked dirty.
The price was really cheap and the room was just fair.
The room was not too clean, was cold (the heater doesn't work well, the customer services was so simple and cold.
This hotel was exceptional value for money and much better than I expected based on the ratings.Location was great and the room was sufficiently clean and spacious.I will definitely be back.
The only thing I would say are that the walls are a bit thin so you can sometimes hear sound from outside the room. But this seems to be a common problem in hotels in Seoul from what I have experienced.
Property is located near train and buses.
Room was not clean. One of the cups I was provided had an old lipstick stain which I didn’t realize until after I took a sip. Stains on walls and pillow cases.
Staff at reception and housekeeping were professional , helpful and considerate
Location: while the neighborhood is interesting and close to attractions, the hotel is only accessible through narrow alleys. Potential problem is you have mobility issues or luggage. This is an older building with so-called wet baths, meaning the shower area is not isolated from the rest of the bathroom, resulting in a permanently wet floor and unpleasant environment. Taking a shower should NOT feel icky.Basically zero storage. My double room had only a single tiny stool and a small pegboard good for maybe three pieces of garment. Absolutely no other hook or closet. You have to leave off your suitcase, for which there is no space by the way. The building itself is oriented in such a way that my room was flooded with very harsh daylight from about 8:00 a.m. to late afternoon, making my room hot like a furnace in late December.
Great location! The staff were friendly. The room was clean and warm. We did not even have to turn on the heater. There is a mini market at the basement. The room was small but comfortable. It is such a good stay for the price we paid.
The room is a bit small.
i stayed from december 11 to december 12 and i paid 300€. It was really cold outside and it was really warm in the room so it was perfect. I have never slept in such a perfect bed. Absolutely everything was clean. They make sure you have water, towels, toilet paper and tissues every single morning. It is near the subway and convenience stores. It’s really easy to find the hotel, i suggest to use the app Navermap. The staff is really respectful and helpful. I asked them if they could call a taxi for 5:30 am to go to the airport, at 5:20am the taxi driver rang my bedroom doorbell and made sure everything was okay, he waited for me outside of the hotel. It is a super good quality and in the center of Seoul. I will come back for sure.
There weren’t a lot of spaces for the luggages but you can still put them under the beds.
Unclean and insects
The first room we were offered smelt of cigarettes and blood stains all over the walls. Hairs all over the bedsheets. After complaining to the manager at reception, he reluctantly changed our room, which was no better. I took the room for one night out of 13 nights because it was late at night and I had no choice. After finding dead insects around the room and waking up with bites. I cancelled the rest of my stay there to pay extra for a hotel last minute. I was told I'd only be able to be refunded 40% of the total cost of 13 nights even though I only stayed 7 hours. And that I had until the end of the day to accept or I'd be refunded nothing. Stay away from this hotel, it's cheap for a reason.
Cheap compared to other hotels in seoul, fair value for money.Comfortable beds, theres laundry facilities. About a ten minute walk from a bus station, and about 20 min walk to naksan park.
We stayed twice and in both times the cleaning was very lacking, a lot of dust, hairs on the floors, stains etc. One of us has dust allergy so they got a staffy nose lol we needed to clean a bit ourself
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel room was really small, suitable for a shorter stay. The hotel has a washing machine and wonderful massage chairs. The cleaner brought new towels and water bottles every day. The location of the hotel is good, we walked several times to Myeongdong and Naksan Park. Metro and Bus also nearby.
The minus was that our sheets were not changed once, even though we were in the hotel for three weeks and all the sounds can be heard very clearly from the corridor to the room.
The room was clean and the staff was really nice. We got free water and clean towels everyday.
location wasn't that bad, secure hotel
thin walls
Friendly staff
A bit far from main hangout places but fairly easily accessible with various transportation options.
Jongno is a great location. Bus stop(s), eateries and convenience stores nearby
Its a walk-in shower but with no shower curtain or wall to protect from getting the entire bathroom wet. Somehow every night some mosquitos were in my room. Probably got in each time after room cleaning service came.
I like the location as it was close to many must-see sites, no matter if you went North or South. There was plenty of public transport, including airport limousine bus. The room was decent, airco was placed perfectly (right above the bed, but it blew away from the bed), water pressure and temperature was great (handheld & rain shower)Bugspray is provided, as well as a fire extinguisher, an emergency line & wall mount in case you have to escape through the window. Two waste bins were provided with extra waste bags underneath the existing one. Although I thought I wouldn't like the 4 mini towels (40x80cm) it was actually fine. Even if you didn't request cleaning, you would get 4 clean towels a day (& 2 bottles of water)
It wasn't unsafe at all, but I didn't like the quiet alleyway.I didn't like the lighting (no bedside lighting) and no bedside table, so I used the small stool. There were only two hangers, one rod and two wall hooks. I brought my own door hangers.
