1.Pool water quality bad. 2.There was price discrepancy b/w my booking and actual charge at the hotel by $--- The manner of the staff's response was not what we could expect. They showed No concern regarding the discrepancy for customer.

Very minor thing - the Nespresso machine was overused and would squash the coffee pods without piercing them.

Location: Very convenient for meetings. Because I had an ankle fracture, it was helpful that people could easily come to the hotel to meet me. Excellent food, the staff seemed to know what I needed even before I asked—they were attentive, thoughtful, and truly read my mind. I am very grateful for their warm and humble service.

Thank you also to William, concierge, for curating amazing dining experiences and sharing insights into Korean culture — those thoughtful touches made all the difference. The location is unbeatable — within walking distance of restaurants/cafes, the Myeongdong and Namdaemun Market, Lotte Department Stores, Myeongdong Cathedral, the Imperial Palaces, and Cheonggyecheon Stream. The gym is top-tier, with professional group fitness classes and a full range of equipment. Thank you to Ian, trainee, for always greeting me with a smile, assisting with machines, and offering water and towels — such wonderful service. The Westin Club Lounge offers gourmet and comfort food, cocktails and a perfect view of the city of Seoul. Breakfast was international. The food choices were delicious and the espresso was flawless — full-bodied and perfectly extracted. The beds were very comfortable and the Westin offers a lavender balm oil for a restful sleep experience. The doormen were consistently professional and helpful with taxis and transfers. A special thank-you to Clayton for making our airport and train travel seamless. If you want a truly memorable five-star experience, stay at The Westin Josun Seoul. The level of care, refinement, and attention to detail here is unmatched — this hotel exceeds every expectation.

Old, dated, poor value for money

Avoid at all costs. Hotel charged a cancellation fee for apparent no-shows on the booking we stayed two nights for. Customer service won’t even respond to messages and took two weeks to say “not our problem”. Beware of their questionable procedures and incompetent practices

It was a bit tired looking

You literally can not have a better location than tje Westin Josun in central Seoul. It is close to everything you could want to see. The staff is excellent, and housekeeping is impeccable. Very responsive to any requests, and always pleasant. During our stay, we had room service for breakfast, a buffet lunch at Aria, lunch at Rubica and dinner at Ninth Gate. All were quite good. We also got snacks at the Joson Deli which were delicious.

It's an older building and the bathrooms could do with an update. But even so, everything is well maintained.

Warm and great service and nice facility(especially gym), location was perfect without noise, great food and many dining options in and outside of hotel

Nice facilities overall. Solid fitness center. A few nice restaurants. Great location that’s a short walk to Myeongdong and a brief walk to the palaces and Insadong. Friendly staff. We had adjoining rooms for a family of 5 - the hotel has an up charge for adjoining rooms.

Rooms are a bit small. Breakfast is expensive. But the rooms are not super expensive so it’s all part of the overall value.

An awesome top tier property & guest offering: great service and facilities.I would especially like to commend Jinny Choi (Guest Relations) for all her outstanding help & support to myself & my family: Jinny was selfless and so effective in assisting us with a medical issue-literally, saving the day for us! She is a real asset to Westin Josun, for sure.

Didn’t like the Gym or pool

Excellent club food service, beautiful room, great bed, super gracious and helpful staff

The location was quite central - to Lotte and Myeongdong area. Very convenient two subway stations and all Ubers came to the lobby!!! The hotel was exceptionally clean with good restaurants and a bakery on site.
