Hostel CLEO Seoul Hongdae

Staff, location is the best.

The room is tiny. There is faucet, but no shower -- you use the space where you stand as shower space.

Hostel Cleo was streamline with simple a simple clean and efficient features that made our stay feel calm especially after exploring the largeness of the city. The front desk people were kind and helpful. thank you all.

Super close to Hongdae station and easy to find. Staff were very friendly and the common pantry was helpful/sufficient.

Found some loose hairs that were not ours on the beds and towels. Space is also very small - not enough space to open even one suitcase at a time.

Staff were nice

The apartments are right next to a busy main road. The loud noise of trucks, buses and bikes is constant and all throughout the night. Even with ear plugs sleeping was a struggle. Wont be coming back.

Great location in Hongdae area. Close to metro and walk to happening area. Convenient for a short stay in Seoul.

Breakfast wasn't worth it at all. My room was right behind the front desk and facing the road, it was loud and I needed to buy earplugs.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The lounge is very cozy.

When I first checked into the room, there is heavy smell of cigarette, the staff explained that it’s the guests stayed before me they smoked inside of the washing room. I found a long hair on my sheet and there are so many hair under the sheet. Obviously when they chang the bed sheet, they don’t remove hair on the mattress. The hotel is located right beside Main Street, it’s very noise even after midnight. Due to the cleanness and the noise from street, I didn’t sleep well,

Great location with cute streets behind the hostel. The staff helped us with buying local concert tickets, this really made our day! Easy laundry service. Coffee machine is a plus.

Location was really good! You can access Yeonnam-dong through the B1, and Hongdae is just a few minutes walk away. There were also a lot of cafes nearby so it was really enjoyable for a coffee lover like me! The meeting place for the DMZ tour we got was the subway station a few minutes walk away. It’s also connected to the all-stop airport express train (cheapest option to get to and from the airport)Space was small, but it was expected for the price we paid. We just took out everything we needed from our luggage and put it under the bed. They served simple breakfast in the morning and it was quite nice. We love that we can just get water, coffee, tea, or heat some takeaway food at the lounge.Overall, our stay was really good. Would recommend to our friends as well

Good location and easy to get. The hostel have me detailed map soon after reservation. Room was small but enough to open my suitcase and sleep for one night, I would call it “cozy” :)A lot of plugs equipped in room, good for all travelers.The front guy was extremely nice and kind, offered a lot of help, thank you!

If you ever want to stay in Hongdae, you must stay here. The staff is friendly and ready to help at any time. You have peace and privacy and yet close to all the main streets. Everything is within reach. thank you for a wonderful stay.

the only thing I didn't like was that I didn't stay longer here.

Good location near the train station. Clean, quiet, super friendly staff. Nice little breakfast in the morning with a good coffee machine.

The staffs are always helpful while my stays, even during the midnight can help us order take out. The location is OK from Hongdae station.Recommend walk through B1 street, there are various stores on the alley.

The room is a bit small. But OK for metropolis city.

The location of the hostel is fantastic. Very close to Hongdae shopping street, the staff were also polite and accommodating.

The room was extremely small, not enough space for two suitcases laid out. It also wasn't very clean. Expect to pay extra for towels larger than a hand towel and except them to be yellow and smell. The room was right on the street view and was extremely noisy and the mattress was tough. Wouldn't stay again. Perhaps good for backpackers, but even then, there are cheaper places to stay.

This is probably one of the most value-for-money accoms given its close proximity to Hongdae Station Exit No. 3 and the price. Hotel is also very clean and well-maintained and in the middle of a bustling area full of restaurants and cafes.

The rooms are a little squeezy. Okay for solo travelers but perhaps a little challenging for couples or small families.
